A couple of thoughts come to mind after reading your latest posts. 1. Concerning "look (ing) like an idiot:" there are 3 main reasons why one might stand out with a girl at a 5 star resort like the Hyatt Barra; the age difference, the girl's appearance or dress, and her behavior in public. As far as these issues are concerned, I mostly don't give a fuck what others think plus I am pretty sure nobody really cares anyway as long as the girl's appearance and behavior is fairly reasonable and not too slutty. The bottom line is I think it depends on the quality of your GDP. For example, I have invited over some very attractive Barra Vip girls & Terma girls and nobody at the Hyatt, staff or guests batted an eye.

My 2nd thought is this: the Hyatt Barra is a great hotel on the nicest, most natural section of Praia Barra. Considering how 1st class this hotel is, the price is very reasonable. All rooms have balconies. The rooms facing the ocean are the most expensive while the rooms facing the lagoon are the least expensive, but both types of rooms have great views so unless the hoel wants to upgrade my room for free which they have done for me a few times, I don't care.

The only con I have concerning a stay at the Hyatt Barra is it's location in respect to mongering. It is roughly 40 minutes by Uber to 4 x4 which is not as bad as it sounds since an Uber from Ipanema to 4 x 4 is around 30 minutes, but if one is planning to fool around in Copa late at night at places like Casablanca, Kalabria, MAB's, or Dolce Vita it would be better to stay at a nearby hotel like the Marriott, the Hilton, or Windsor California. Xpartan had a good plan; stay in both areas. It is too bad he had to shorten his trip. But you are a standup guy, Xpartan, to cut your trip short on account of a "family emergency". A lot of jagoffs wouldn't.

Lastly, I am planning a little road trip with my favorite Scandallo girl whom I have known for over a year and a half. First, we are going to drive to Ilhabela and stay there for a few nights, and then we will continue up the coast to RJ where we will stay at the Hyatt. Valerie is a real nice looking, tier 2 Scandallo girl. She does not look like a pro. I can take her anywhere although there is a significant age difference. I am sure we will have a great time at the Hyatt and nobody will give us as much as 2nd glance, not that I give a damn.

At Hilton all rooms are ocean-view, even though they show their age a little.

2. Money: got a withdrawal with a Schwab card at a Bradesco ATM in Barra Shopping at the 5. 17 and no commissions (which would be covered by Schwab anyway). Merits of Schwab debit card have been covered here on more than one occasion, but it's worth reminding, I guess.

3. SIM card: You can buy it and have it set up at the market in Centro as been reported here. You can also buy it at Lojas Americanas and set it up on the phone. However, if you're based far from Centro or your Portuguese is a little rusty, TIM store is the place to go. I stayed 10 minutes away from Barra Shopping, so it was a no brainer. You buy the card first then set it up at the store. Unlike my previous trips, this time around it was painless.

4. If you need a separate Zap account with a local number, open up WA for business (HT: Vagabundo).

5. Took a ride to the Classico beach bar with Vagabundo. Nice spot.

6. Girls: I started by hooking up with a girl from my last trip, but wasn't especially happy, so never repeated. Aside from her, I only had 2 encounters with new girls.

6 A. Perola Negra Came over after midnight on Wednesday, lots of girls, but it was a sausage feast. Most girls were hanging out with Brazilian dudes who never took anyone for a programma far as I could see. I walk around the room a couple of times, not drawing any enthusiasm from nicer-looking girls, then grabbed a beer and landed on the couch at the entrance. Then a cute slim 7 positioned herself in front of me with a wide smile. What are you going to do for me, I asked. I don't do anal, she goes right off the bat. How about CIM? Oh, you safado, she goes. Is that a yes? Yes. I was sold.

In the room, she's sweet and giggly, very compliant with my wishes, but not big on independent thinking. Still, I would repeat because I'm a sucker for sweet.

Now, I don't know whether they scammed me or there are new prices, but the joint charged me 350 for 40 minutes instead of 290. Soroya (sp?) was fine and accommodating in the room, but this place ain't no 4 x4 for the price. And way too smoky. If you're in Barra, it's worth visiting, otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

6 B. Alice, terapeuta from Tijuca.

Got her info from reading Gparena. Alice is legendary there with dozens of raving reviews. She's 40-something and you won't confuse her face for a face of a 20-year old, but I can guarantee you won't find a perfectly sculpted body like hers on many 20-year olds. Just heed the word "sculpted". Those of you, silicon haters, needn't worry, LOL. No bed, just a huge chair and a stretcher.

What else? Doesn't offer anal, but great service otherwise, including the massage. Did 2 hours with her for 340, and it was money well spent. If you only have one spot for a mature woman on your busy schedule, make it count, kkkk.

Nobody is trashing your girl. I think most of us agreed that she is cute and above average looking, solid 7+. If you decide to use 1-10 scale or ask other posters to rate your girl, you should understand the scale better. A true 10 is a unicorn, you probably will never see a 10 in the subway. Victoria Secret's model type, zero flaws, would make everyone turn their heads. When you see a true 10 in public, you can't believe your fucking eyes because you have never seen a girl like that before.

The places that are most similar to those are Dolce Vita/DV and Mabs. They are next to each other. It has been mentioned often. You should find a lot of info now you know what to look for. In Rio, you can also go to termas to find girls. 4 x4 is a terma but it has a strip club atmosphere. You will find several like that in Centro. Solariun is also a terma but it has a complete different feel.
