Are you saying you take Tier 1 Terma girls out of their Termas at night during their work shift and the Terma does not charge you an EWR (early work release, call it what you will) for the take out on top of whatever you and the girl have agreed upon for a romp some place else?

There is no reason to avoid public transportation in Rio except one: wasting your valuable vacation time in traffic. Which is the reason I won't hesitate to take Metro, but I try to avoid buses. When I need ground transportation I call Uber or flag a cab. Saving a few reals is not a priority when you're on a short vacation.

IMHO, the biggest winners in this game are the ones who get their chosen Brazilian girl out of Brazil, back to their home country. That said, as long as we are on the subject, let me add:

1. Nounce was a great wingman, and what he says about sandals in VM are important. The type of sandals -- the trekking sandals from decathlon which some members who came to town bought in trips with me -- are good but don't give lower back support on long walks.

But I have a full set of cargo shorts, shirts, etc. That was like stage 3 of my wardrobe (stage 2 being a full 1000 reais of bombeiro cloths, which are actually super light, strong, survivable, etc -- every city takes good care of its firemen, and again, chicks dig firemen). Stage 1 was all the 5-11 gear and lululemon stuff I brought in my original loadout. That stuff still works fine too. Swiss Naval Infantry and Swiss Naval Intelligence are the best in the world!
