There hasn't been a lot of discussion about Lapa in awhile and particularly during Covid.

Read LoveLongTime's recent reports. It gives a good impression of staying in Barra. He booked a place on the beach and at TA.

In Rio we will spend 5 nights and then go to Pipa and Natal to meet him too. We have to squeeze everything to the max!
So from the 5 nights:
3 nights' accommodation in Ipanema.
1 night in Barra TransAmerica we would only go to spend one night, a whole day in the hotel.
1 night in CopaCabana, near the Mabs and Dolce Vita. How is Barbarella Boite and Kalabria?
If we already know the term Terma: the, we want to choose a good one.
To meet girls on the beach we want to go to the Ipanema beach between posts 9 and 10.
I also don't know if we'll have time for our first Copa583.
Thank you all very much for your help!

Talk to Vagabundo, but I wouldn't stay in Barra on my first trip. Quite far from everything, but it depends on the duration of your trip.
Rio termas are NOT thermal baths. There is a sauna, but that's it. Baden-Baden they aren't, LOL. Manage your expectations and I'd recommend some more reading.

Can someone who have been in Rio share his thoughts on Tinder and how effective it is in Rio? Since I started using it two years ago, basically 90% of my contacts during traveling around the world are from Tinder or Badoo. And always I had a very, very good time.
I read the reports and it's very rare someone to speak about these apps, it seems that they are non-existing in Brazil. I used them with great success around Asia and Africa and I was wondering why there is almost no reports including Tinder? BTW it was the same in Asia / Africa forums, it seems that people here just don't use them. Are they not a great place to meet freelancers or non-pro girls who are feeling a little adventurous? So can someone share his Rio experience with Tinder / Badoo apps?

Posts: 22Hello everyone from Valencia, Spain!
I've been reading this forum for some time now and it's really helpful!
I am going to Rio de Janeiro this July with a friend, we are 30 years old and it is our first time in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro. Let's hope that the pandemic will allow it.
The first few days we are going to stay in Ipanema as we also want to do some typical tourism.
For our first night we want to go out in Lapa to see if we can find a Brazilian girl and to have the first contact in these lands, which will be a big impact used to our land. Any recommendation of a disco in Lapa? We will also use Tinder previously. We want to go from less to more.
We want to spend a night in the Hotel Transamerica in Barra the Tijuca, be in the swimming pool, be able to go with some to the beach and make a good feast in our room. Recommendable?
We will also take a night's accommodation near the Mabs Restaurant to try and get on one. How is Mabs doing these days?
Any additional recommendations for "young" people travelling for the first time? We will also go to some thermal baths, perhaps Termas 65.
Thank you very much to everyone and all recommendations are welcome.

Question, I am going to Rio on February for 4 days. Do you think it is better to stay in Barra de Tijuca or Copacabana / Leblon for the time? I already knows Copacabana, been there a few times. We have Dolce Vita and Mabs there, but I never been to Barra de Tijuca. Is it easy to find working girls? Or private?
Thanks in advance.
Aviv.

This was my first time to Rio, I went with a friend and we are from Europe, been to Fortaleza twice before.
I used to have some information here about Rio, thank you all.
I booked a good apartment in Copacabana through Airbnb, and had no problem bringing a girl into the house.
I mostly traveled by uber and sometimes by taxi through Rio. Bought a sim card from Tim for a month 30 gb for 200 reals, bought.
At Shopping Rio Sul, and I got the phone number of a girl who works there, but otherwise I did not contact her.
We have been a bit everywhere:
Casablanca mostly the same girls, 10 or so of which 2 look good, nothing special there, we went twice and after half an hour we left, so we did nothing.
Boate Kalabria also been there just like Casablanca, nothing special.
4 x 4 we went there once, about 20 girls of which 5 are good, it is not busy one of the halls are closed, also left after half an hour.
We went evenings to Mabs around 10:30 pm and usually bark until 00:30 and then we went to Dolce Vida until about 3:00 am.
Usually we took girls to apartment almost every night I also had girl where I spent three days, for 1500 reals, but she went to the beach with me, eating, drinking and natural fucking during the day.
Most girls charge 300 reals for an hour and 500 reals for all night, Much the same girls come to Mabs and Dolce Vita every night.
You have everything in between so you have to pay attention to what you bring home, I had good girls and also bad ones who just wanted to see money and a little sex and want go home. Many of those girls use all kinds of drugs.
We often went to the beach during the day, and we met some girls there too. We were in Rio between December 15 and January 5, there were also bad weather days with a lot of rain.
Old new year we celebrated in Lapa because the Copacabana was closed and there was completely full of people I thought that night here I will get the corona but until these days I have not had. And I did pcr test for that I am leaving Brasil otherwise I cannot fly.
I think prices are quite high in Rio and everyone tries to steal you like in restoran, beach, on the street, so you have to check your bill all the time.
I don't know what the times have been like in Rio before the Pandemic but I'm not overwhelmed with Rio, I had a much better time in Fortaleza, indeed that was before the corona, I don't want to come out negative, but I expected more for so big city. I don't know if I will go to Rio again.
That's my story little bit, I hope you understand little bit because my English is not perfect and if you have any questions please let me know.
