What if I do get sick and need medical attention. Which country would offer a better chance of survival?

It's not only about the comparative strengths of the 2 health care systems, but the mere fact that we've been at it longer and gotten better at treating the disease.

I would absolutely prefer to be in the US if I needed medical attention. Which is making me second guess my trip to Brasil this winter.

Cost is 2200 r per month. Awesome 22nd floor view on the veranda of barra coastline.

Logistics are a bit more distanced. 343 bus from central / centro goes to Metro Jardim Botanica. Proprietary bus from Transamerica (395 Av Gastao Senges) goes straight to cinelandia / US Consulate hourly from 0610 to 2000. Uber of course, 50 r to most spots in zona sul.

That's a valid point. I for sure can say that I wouln't want to become seriously sick in Brazil right now, and especially when hospitals are overwhelmed with Covid patients. Also, if the purpose is to go to Brazil to monger, there is no way to do that and at the same time practice social distancing, so it would come with a certain risk. Staying home is a better situation where social distancing also is easier to maintain.

I want to plan my next trip to Brazil but I don't know when next because Brazil has became a no 2 hotspot of diseases right now. No. 2 in the world for covid-19. It is a changed world. I used to monger around in Brazil now I am a lawyer in UK and own few transport companies. But I am going back to USA. I'm USA citizen became transfer to UK for study purpose but now. I did LLb and now I'm 2 exams left LLM. I was best student of M A finance was trying to my Ph. The BUT decided to change venue. I got properties in4 counties I'm successful. But the point is what is the futre of TERMA. I'm very scared. I loved HELP gone now TERMA gone? What are we going to do?

I've always thought that the countries that are worst hit by covid 19 could be the first to open up their borders because things are unlikely to get worse for them from foreigners entering the country. Those countries that are least affected by covid 19 have a greater chance of things getting worse.

I have been to the prives.

At RB 156, I went to 3 of the prives listed on the site gparena dot net.

I think it's impossible to monger and practice social distancing at the same time. I guess maybe if you watch them strip and play with themselves from six feet away. But I don't think that's what any of us are planning.

It seems that for most, all virtuous thoughts of observing social distancing are forgotten when pussy comes into play.

While at the same time assuming that someone thinking about themselves and their wallet has experienced no personal tragedies or suffering and has not patronized businesses and indivuals that are struggling the same as you have. At the end of the day you do not know anyone's pain or the sacrifices and goodwill they have made. Definitely a matter of perspective when you can only see part of something, yet freely pass judgment on the entire thing.

I agree. As long as someone is not lying or stealing or getting violent, I'm not going to judge their "wallet" decisions. I have no idea what their situation may be. You seem like you're very upfront when dealing with girls and IMO that's a good thing.

As we navigate through COVID-19, I have tried to patronize businesses and individuals who are struggling, not taking advantage of their special deals and paying cash.

Maybe it just struck me that with all the personal tragedies and suffering, that once again, someone only thought about themselves and their wallet.

It's a very sad situation for Brazil at the moment with the pandemic being in full force and killing so many Brazilians. I can't imagine anyone even considering going there now, looking at the situation. But also considering how fast he disease is spreading, beyond control like it seems, and if it goes on like this, the situation will be very different after some months. Cases and deaths will drop to low numbers, just like what happened in places which also has been seriously affected. That's what happed in Wuhan, North of Italy and New York City for example. If the spread of Corona goes on like it does now, Brazil might even reach herd immunity, or at least a degree of immunity within the population, that will slow down the pandemic very much. And especially in the regions that are most affected, like Sao Paulo and Rio for example. I think the situation will be very different, and better, as we will be getting closer to the summer in Brazil. If it will be good enough for tourists to want to come back remains to be seen. If a vaccine will be available like next year or so, I hope it will help the situation not only in Brazil but also in the rest of the world. Let's hope a vaccine will be available sometimes next year.

In Rio, I was known as the guy who walked into the kitchen and handed out money to the cooks at my favorite churrascaria. When an owner of an apartment in Rio tried to go around Bobby and rent the apartment to me directly, I turned her down. Been known to tell suppliers their prices were too low and that I would be paying more because I wanted them around for the long term. Same goes for contractors to whom I paid bonuses that were not part of the contracts. As we navigate through COVID-19, I have tried to patronize businesses and individuals who are struggling, not taking advantage of their special deals and paying cash.

Maybe it just struck me that with all the personal tragedies and suffering, that once again, someone only thought about themselves and their wallet.

I live in a 45 meter square studio flat (with lots of big windows) in Sao Paulo. Needed a cleaning lady, my real estate guy recommended one. She came by took a look at the place, gave me a quote for real $100 / per once a week visit for the estimated 3 hours work to clean the place. Told her no, I'll pay you real $300/ per visit! We closed the deal at that! My real estate guy told me she has two kids and works evenings as a hairdresser.
