I basically drove up there in an Uber one night in June when my landlord in Copacobana was trying to put me in a one bedroom for the same 2500 r he was charging me for a 2 bedroom in the afternoon; the guys name is Ney, which I thought was Nate and he showed me 3 units; I made a decision, and uber-ed my trash over there that night, handed Nate 2200 r and I've been there for 1.5 months.

I am thinking of trading up to a 4400 r month unit in Riviera del Fiori with a real kitchen, two bedrooms, and three bathrooms, but I have until 29 Aug. Riviera del Fiori is awesome, BTW. The residents there tell me it is the best spot in Barra -- further towards Rio centro or Recreio, more crime, but on this part of the beach there is enough security that you can leave your stuff on the beach and swim. The people are all blue eyed, white or brown skinned. This is Bolsonaro country. I bring in my mulattas, and try to integrate the community. I arrived this past Tuesday via delta Atlanta to São Paulo and a connection to SDU on latam. BTW they airline verifies your travel medical insurance at the gate before you can board and also Brazilian immigration checks.

First day I went to solarium and Monte Carlo still not many gringos in town and the girls are anxiously waiting for September to arrive for things to pick up. Because of exchange rates not usd $110 is not bad so already been to solarium twice this week.

I've never been to Mosaico, but I've heard a lot about it. I thought it actually had closed at one point. Exactly where is Mosaico? I mean, what's the address? I tried Googling it once before but no luck. If I recall correctly, I understand that it's actually kind of tricky to get to. Even a little dangerous. Which makes me want to try it once even more LOL! Especially because I understand that some very hot and nasty girls ply their trade there.

Cancun is now apparently called New York and will open Monday, August 3rd. It seems like masks are required in main room.

Monte Carlo reopened on August 4th. Centaurus has reopened from 3 pm-11 pm everyday except Sunday.

I will be depending a lot on trip reports to decide whether to travel to Brazil. So I hope mongers go to Brazil in their numbers and if you all come back healthy I will consider a trip of my own.
