Met Vagabundo in centro and he showed me around all day. Great guy, very observant. Learned a lot about his modus operandi.

We start out the day around 12 and went to Dark Room. There were about 4 available, mostly morena / mulata from thin to a bit thick.

Afterward, we moved to Central Station and got a few sims. I ended up getting one for 16 are without having to use any ID. Easy peasy, wish I had his guidance when I first came to Rio, which would've save me so much time trying to get a sim card.

Then heading north on metro to VM. Exit left to VM and right to Tijuca. I walked the street with Vagabundo and it felt safe, maybe because there was daylight. There were SWs from the metro towards VM. At VM, we walked about and Vaga collected numbers of the girls he liked and then ended up sessioned a girl while I waited for him having a beer. VM is pretty much what everyone described, grimy and dirty. Some girls are decent looking, but not my cup of tea.

We then ubered back to his place in Barra the Tijuca. He cooked salmon and rice for dinner while we chill until another member join us (Ptg) for Paris Cafe and Perola Negra.

Around 9 PM we headed to Paris Cafe, but on the way our uber driver showed us location of SWs towards Paris Cafe. Vagabundo ended with several numbers for next time. When I was out with Harley from SP in rio I really didn't worry about hiding any money or my stuff from her. She never asked for anything and even when I did pay for food and other small stuff she would try to tell me not to. When we stayed in our Airbnb in arraial she told me to hide my money and keep it locked up or something.

I am definitely not the type of guy to trust anyone in fact every time I session with a GDP in my apartment or hotel I always take a quick shower after the deed because I'm always skeptical that they might get curious and go through my luggage or backpack although so far none have but it's always on the back of my mind.

Had a buddy of mine who almost got his Rolex stolen but he figured it out before she left and got it back from her purse before she ran out the door with a BS excuse.

So it's definitely a possibility.

But after you see a girl several times and you get to know them you can make up your decision and use your best judgment because it's great to have a girl you can just relax and honestly not worry about anything with.

Brazilian girls have a very relaxed attitude and really seem to put priority of having a good time over money as many of us have read how some girls charge way less for some guys or refuses to accept their money afterwards. And they really need it with their undervalued money.

Girls from more prosperous countries like the USA or the such I've heard so many thieving stories as I believe they want as much as they can get and use that to buy more stuff from our consumer driven mindset that's always selling us happiness for a price tag. Brazilian girls are materialistic as well but I feel they value a good time and experience over potentially getting some extra cash.

I agree that in my experience Brazilian girls are more trustworthy and just want to have fun as compared to Colombians who are always only thinking about money and even a girl you spent days with you usually can't trust because she will try to rob you still.

I am not sure where you learned that, but it is far from true. Calling a Black person Preto or Preta is a term of endearment. That is one of the first things I learned in Portuguese over 20 years ago. I am Black so maybe it is a Black thing and works the same way as in the States. A Black person can say WhatsUp Black to another Black person and it is all love. If a White person says that to a Black person it may go a different way.

Don't know if I can recall being called Preto in Brazil by someone that is not Black though. Many times I will be called Negao (Big Black Dude) by people that are not Black. So maybe we are both right. It could be a matter of perspective and depends on who is saying what to whom.

Damn sure is. I have only been called that twice in my life and one was one night in Moscow when I asked a 20 year old girl at a bus stop if there was an internet cafe close by. It was like she had been practicing her whole life to say it to someone. No idea why she took me asking for directions so harshly. Soon this drunk guy, Alex, with his wife stumbled along and was happy to help me. But he mistook me saying internet cafe for ATM. He was trying to hang out with me after showing me to the ATM, but his wife was busy cussing him out trying to get him to come on.

It's actually not always meant to be an insult (although it sounds really bad to an American ear). It's colloquial Russian for a black person (sounds just as bad in German by the way). More formal Russian for a black person from America would be "Afroamerikanets" or "Afroamerikanski", depending on who is saying it (you might hear either).

The one thing I've learned in Brazil is to let the girl self-identify. One girl might call herself a mulata and another girl with the same complexion will not. It's not like I go around saying "hey mulata, want to come back to my place?

You seem to be an experienced monger, but please do NOT trust Brazilian or any Latin American girls with your money. Here I'd like to take a sidestep and make a race-related comment especially for the black mongers that come to Brazil for a short stay. Negro in Portuguese is not offensive while 'preto' which in Portuguese means 'black' is. I realize that it would take a bit getting used to but that's how it is. I wish some black hobbyists that live here in Brazil would back me up on that.

I quickly grew to trust Susy with my money and things. I'd tell her to take so much to do this and that and she would always bring what she didn't spent back.
