Red Light used to be a puteiro, then it turned into a regular discotheque and now it has turned into a puteiro again.

    Red Light (Mosaico Part Deux)

Last night I went to the grand opening of a new club called Red Light. It is under the same ownership as that of Mosaico. I was invited to this club by a couple of my local Brazilian friends, ie there is no way I would have discovered this place on my own. Like Mosaico, this club is also located in the Praca Bandeira area. The address is Rua Pereira de Almeida 73. Praca Bandeira. Rio, RJ.

We arrived at the club at around 11 pm. The club has 2 floors, which are just rectangular shaped boites with a stripper pole in each boite. The first floor was empty so we proceeded upstairs to the 2nd floor. There were about 25 guys and only 6 girls when we arrived! I am not sure where the talent pool is coming from, probably Mosaico. They had a standard strip show every 20 minutes or so. I stayed at this club until 1 am and by then, there were about 15 girls and 30 guys. I couldn't find any girl worth sessioning and I would say only 2 of them were above an 8. One of my friends sessioned with a girl with a gigantic ass. He said she was an ex-pornstar but I don't remember the name he told me. It wasn't anyone famous like Fabiane Thompson, Monica Santhiago, etc. It cost him R$150 for one hour but he was up there for over 90 minutes. I guess on opening night, they weren't strict on time. He said the facilities were a little nicer than Mosaico and there was an ensuite shower in his room. I didn't like the environment here at all. It was soooo dark in there and the music was just incredibly LOUD. There was no way you could have a conversation with any girl! It reminded me of a darker, louder Termas 502. Ha. We thought about going to Mosaico afterwards, but then I asked him if it was just as dark at Mosaico and he said yes. So I said forget it, let's go to Lapa and have a beer which we did.

I'm not sure how much the entrance fee was, but I had one beer and left there paying R$8. So maybe it's R$8 and includes one free drink. I had a flyer that gave me 50% discount on consumption, but I forgot to use it. Then again, I didn't really consume much. Ha. I reckon over time this club will have more new girls working there. Either that or it is going to cannibalize the pool of girls at Mosaico resulting in fewer girls over there.

I attached an image of the club flyer.

Especially the patrol boats off the beaches as the convention is taking place at Ft. Copacabana.

The venu of Rio+20 is the Riocentro Convention Center in Baja Tijuca. The current event at Ft. Copacabana is a photograph exposition.

    Seamens bars

    Hi,

I was many many years ago in Rio when working on ship, and I would like to see the bars with the girls, are they still existing or closed?

It was possible to take the girl and go to nearby room.

Anybody know names etc? Is it safe anymore to go there?

On the other hand, are there similar clubs like in Germnay FKK clubs in Rio?

    Cheers

[QUOTE=Ipanema Carioca; 1294827]In my many years to Rio I've always seen the same activity as described. Even before the MP went on strike, I saw the MP monitoring the MF. That's what a former military junta do. They patrol to keep the poor from rioting in criminal activity. You go to DR, Jamaica and any 3rd world country you will see mobilization or patrols. In Ipanema and Leblon you see civil police 3-4 deep. It's nothing to be alarmed about. As an American I'd go to the US State departments website for Brasil. You's see Colombia having advisory alerts and not Brasil. You guys worry about the wrong things on a sex board. [/QUOT.

In all the years I have been visiting Rio, I have not seen the same activity as frequently. I never said I was worried, it was just an observation. BTW, these are observations I notice on the way to having sex, and on the way back from having sex.

Interested to see if that will still be the case after this Rio+20 deal is over.

In the past weeks, I have observed the same. In my neighborhood, a squad of PM move through on a daily basis. At the entrada, there are soldiers posted. Also, there is an unusually high number of ships patrolling the waters.

If he was involved in a fight with prostitutes in Lapa he likely pissed off some of the local Trannies. If so, he's lucky he still has his family jewels.

If you follow common since anywhere, the likely of such incidents happening percentage wise is small. But if you do what your friend probably did, then he will get mugged in a kindergarten with 3 year olds.

And for you to come on this board with Rio vets and leave such a post is pathetic. Tell your friend to go some where safe like Washington DC near the White House! LOL! No maybe a safer war zone like near the Buckingham Palace, where the just found a body of a dead girl! There is nothing sinister about Lapa!

How the hell do all these idiots get robbed in brazil. I went to brazil about 10 times, Costa rica, tijuana, and haven't been robbed once. You people that get robbed are attracting attention or arent using street smarts. I just don't understand. Take cabs are subway everywhere. Don't walk where there are no people and look to see if you are being followed.
