I even connected with the manager, whose number I have and can pass along by PM. Here's the thing about Mosaico. It is where the local top tier Terma girls go after their shift in the zona sul termas is over. I was there last night. I got there around mid night. 30 reais buys you three drinks, so I had 3 coco waters over 3 hours. There actually is a strip pole, and the best part of the night was priscilla climbing up it. I've never been to Mosaico, but I've heard a lot about it. I thought it actually had closed at one point. Exactly where is Mosaico? I mean, what's the address? I tried Googling it once before but no luck. If I recall correctly, I understand that it's actually kind of tricky to get to. Even a little dangerous. Which makes me want to try it once even more LOL! Especially because I understand that some very hot and nasty girls ply their trade there.

Got a bunch of numbers, and I confirmed the view of Mosaico as the place the top tier zona sul girls go because at 2 AM (closing time at Solarium), there were some smoking hot girls who showed up. There were 3 or 4, got their numbers.

So earlier yesterday, I did a recon of some centro termas.

Yesterday, or day before now, I came back from a Buzios trip with a mini relationship. It was great. I did take an uber to and back, paid 400 r and 330 r to and fro. We had some difficulty finding a pousada that was open, but between the driver and some locals we did locate one. I had some trouble getting uber eats to deliver. But all in all, it was awesome. Great little pool at the pousada, which is almar pousada buzios. We went to the beach and had fun taking action shots with the gopro.

So there you have it gents.

Saturday my plan is to go check out Solarium, or maybe next week.

I do miss some mongering buddies. But, I carry on, solo.

All that said, Transamerica is awesome. You hang out downstairs or at the local mall just up the street (av gastao senges 327) (Transamerica is av gastao senges 395). The Brazilians have their way of creating basically a hooker hotel. I was down there at breakfast waiting for the luxury bus to cinelandia (part of Transamerica's amenities), and smoking hot girl with nice ass makes eye contact, gives me her number. She was with two older women. That's how the brazilians role. The girl I sessioned with here in Transamerica was staying with two other girls in the same room with the super big king bed in her room. They left when I came in and fucked her. There was a smoking hot loira / blond from SP, but she asked too much (600 an hour). Even though I was sorely tempted that was last Sunday and I had two full days with a mini relationship coming, so I saved my dinheiro, and went with the mini relationship.

Anyone with inside knowledge who could share would be greatly appreciated. Been looking online and I cannot find concrete info on what regulations are in place in Rio.

Yes please someone, I have been reading conflicting reports online on what's open what's not. What happening in Lapa?

I was also wondering what area of Rio is best for mongering, as in close to the street girls or easy for escorts to get to, or is Rio mostly about the Termas?

I was in Rio a few years ago in Ipanema but did not monger but I remember thinking I should have got a place near Lapa as that's where all the night life was.

I am not on the ground. From good sources Solarium and T65 have been open since July; I received the attached flyers in emails or received in WhatsApp. T65 is also under new management, one of the managers from 4 x4 is some sort of owner / partner.

Cancun is now apparently called New York and will open Monday, August 3rd. It seems like masks are required in main room.

No news on 4 x4, Centaurus or Monte Carlo.

Monte Carlo reopened on August 4th. Centaurus has reopened from 3 pm-11 pm everyday except Sunday.

I will be depending a lot on trip reports to decide whether to travel to Brazil. So I hope mongers go to Brazil in their numbers and if you all come back healthy I will consider a trip of my own.

Now that is asking mongers to possibly make the ultimate TOFTT LOL but I'm going in January come what may (unless the airports are closed again of course).

I was just about to post a question regarding Termas. Can anyone with boots on the ground add any more intel regarding if any other Termas are open. Sorry I'm a newbie to Rio, will be my first time. I was going to go to Sao Paulo, but it seems that all the restaurants are closing at 5 PM. I thought Rio would be a safer first time place for me. If all else fails I saw a YouTube Vid that showed the beach was open. I'm not sure how long that will last, but hey, this is a fluid time and we just have to make the best choices with what info we got. Thanks for your help if you decided to comment / Post because it really helps people do a little research before we arrive.

That's a valid point. I for sure can say that I wouln't want to become seriously sick in Brazil right now, and especially when hospitals are overwhelmed with Covid patients. Also, if the purpose is to go to Brazil to monger, there is no way to do that and at the same time practice social distancing, so it would come with a certain risk. Staying home is a better situation where social distancing also is easier to maintain.

Vagabundo, do you mind saying how you found this apartment? Rates at the hotel are about US $66 a night, or about US $2,000 per month. Did you have a connection, or did you find it on AirBnB? I looked at some listings, which had maps, so finding the Transamerica would be a matter of sifting through the listings.

What if I do get sick and need medical attention. Which country would offer a better chance of survival?

It's not only about the comparative strengths of the 2 health care systems, but the mere fact that we've been at it longer and gotten better at treating the disease.

I would absolutely prefer to be in the US if I needed medical attention. Which is making me second guess my trip to Brasil this winter.

I've been in Transamerica for a month. It is great.

Cost is 2200 r per month. Awesome 22nd floor view on the veranda of barra coastline.

Logistics are a bit more distanced. 343 bus from central / centro goes to Metro Jardim Botanica. Proprietary bus from Transamerica (395 Av Gastao Senges) goes straight to cinelandia / US Consulate hourly from 0610 to 2000. Uber of course, 50 r to most spots in zona sul.
