Look, here is a simple way to hava a good time in prives and even (gasp) VM.

1. OK, you need to bang a hot girl in a prive, and need a nice room. Go to: Treze de Maio 33/3206. The rooms that overlook guanbara bay are really nice. Hot girls are there, notably estephany, see her review on gparena. I mean, 32nd floor, you are watching g bay, ships come in, ships go out, as they have for thousands of years. Rooms are big. 2) The Metro Rio, is probably way easier to navigate than either the (nightmare of a sytem, that is the) Tokyo Metro Subway system (believe me) or the London Underground and isn't hard as you might think, even with Portuguese nomenclature (unlike Tokyo...urrgh!) .

Urber / Taxis are fine and good way to talk with the local Cariocas. Metro Rio is a totally cool way of getting to know the city, if you're solo or not. Zone Sul locations (Barra, Leblon, Ipanema, Copa or Leme), just take LINE #1 or #4 all the way to 1 of four (4) centro stations (Cinelandia, Carioca, Uruguaiana or Presidente Vargas).

Most prives, boates, termas and P4P destinations can be found within walking distance of these four (4) centro stations. For a fist timer, you should be fine during the day. Use your own judgement at night.

Sometimes I've often used the metro system of city to get me to the approximate location to where I want to go, then I'll take a taxi (or if I get lost), to the finish the final leg of the trip. Can be cost effective sometimes, but not always. But that's just me, wanting to explore a little, if given the time.

3) Any tool that help you navigate the city should be welcomed. If you don't fear looking like a tourist, you could go old school and buy a map. One of my all time favorite traveling pastimes, is to play 'dumb' and ask pretty women for street directions (but don't use the precise address). You just never know.

Last time I checked in, I had tried out some expensive Tier 1 termas (MC and Centaurus) to great success. Since then, I visited Solarium and 4 x4 as well. Overall, I had no complaints with the attractiveness of the girls or their service. I even went back to Centaurus to account for the variance of how otherworldly my first time there was and I had another great experience, though not as good as the first. In my view, at the tier 1 termas, I would recommend hitting them up around the time that the Brazilian workday ends (seems 6-7 pm is a good time). I never had an issue finding girls I liked in the 7-8/10 range.

Ok before I get attacked for asking questions I did go back and read about 60 pages of post over the last week and a half. I did post once before and based on feed back from a few nice members I have decided to stay in CocaCabana for my first visit although It sounds like I ill bed spending a lot of time in Centro.
