Actually, most of brazilian banks do not accept foreign credit cards. Nada a ver com fraude. It's just a question of foreign money exchange, some are allowed to do it, others don't (Unibanco, Banco Real and so on).

You'll never be deceived with a HSBC, Citibank, Banco do Brasil (not all of them) ATM. Sometimes in major cities you'll find Bradesco too.

Actually, I experienced fraud at both HSBC and Bradesco in Rio. At GIG an at HSBC branch located in Ipanema. Have also heard different opinions of Bradesco, while Citibank I have never heard anything bad about. Just my two cents.

Anyone have a comprehensive list of centro places, termas and massage places. I know I bubbas report he list several centro termas but I am sure there are others. Also had a hard time finding the massage places. In the old posts people list a couple places here and there but not very complete.

Hit luomo yesterday. Since that was the first terma I had been to I felt like it had to be my first again. I do think the whole steam room, showers are nicer than most. Last yr I know each place had their fair share of big girls but were always some nice small tight girls as well. Yesterday only saw one girl that was kinda like that.

Maybe it was just an off day. Guess will need some more data pts. Here for a while so not in any rush. Was hoping could save some money and hit the centro places. Took the metro to save money, felt fine no problems. My rule is just to walk fast avoid eye contact.

Hey at least I was able to get the cash.

The women at the entrance said the dollar has really hurt them lot less gringos now. Hard for me to judge since its been a yr since been yr. I did notice a group of like 10 japanese dudes roll in. Yen at 15 yr high vs dollar. They seem to ignore the no smoking rules which was upsetting.

How much was the session?

When I called her she told me 1 hr for 250 reais and 2 for 400. I asked her if she could do 300 for 2 hrs? She told me yes and was at my apt in 45 min. She lives on the same street as me.

When you go to Iguaçu, make sure you go in the rainy season where you have lots of water, not when it is almost dry.

Curitiba is on the way to Iguaçu, has lots of whit white girls and real blondes for decent prices. But a little hard to find your way without portuguese.

I live in Brazil and use my foreign credit cards. I need to phone the credit card companies 4 or 5 times a year to get them unblocked. Had my card cloned twice in Brazil. The thieves didn't have my pin, so it was bogus charges from gas stations and retail outlets that let them sign the slip. Being as the pin wasn't used in any of these transactions, both VISA and AMEX re-credited my account on both occasions. Only had one occasion at L'umo where the goon came with me to my apartment to get the cash. Not a good feeling. Now I always carry sufficient cash when visiting the putarias. No such thing as honor amongst Gentlemen in the pimp/john relationship.

Same thing happened to me, luckily I had the cash on me, but next day the card worked again.

My best visits lately have been at Termas 65 and Termas 502, which are both within about 1-2 blocks of 4x4 in Centro. 65 has standard T pricing, whereas 502 is a bit rougher and cheaper. You can google map them I imagine. At 502 you don't wear robes.

There are a few other interesting places I've seen in slightly rougher areas, but I don't know your security preferences.

I've seen very few fellow gringos lately in any place, which is actually really refreshing. But yes the Real's appreciation vs. the US Peso makes me quite price conscious.

Does she want to go to 2a2 for free or is it included in the price of the original session? Are you really going to take her there and trade down for a cheaper model?
How is the swinging scene now does it still run in the club in Barra as well?

No not for free, same price as a session, which is a good deal because the swing club is a 4 hour ordeal a session is 2 hours.. True I'm sure I wouldn't get better than her in the club but I just find it fun being in the club rather than staying alone in my apt with her, it's a night out, it's a big party. She would be my bait and switch. She likes to swing also and I'm as old as her father and she knows that but she said she wouldn't go with just anybody but knows she can have fun with me and that's what it's all about.

But I'm going tonight and I'm sticking to my plan A because I originally promised another girl I would call her and take her tonight and I didn't want to break my promise. The other girl is nice also but not quite like this one, I met her on the top of the Marriott hotel last March and she is very dependable. Dependable is a good thing too because if they don't show up your sort of out of luck because it's hard to get someone at the last minute, so your night is ruined.
