The reason why MABS is pretty much dead, because there is not enough gringo clientele. Even the so called new Help spot never pop because there is very few gringos that fly to Brazil, its not like the later 90's, early 2000's. That is my observation.

This is an interesting observation indeed since on my previous trips to Rio, and as my photos will prove, I had no problems finding brancas at all of the establishments I visited. I arrived at Playground at 7 pm, opened at 5 pm today instead of 12 pm. Because no girl came.

There was only one girl, it was very dead so I preferred to leave and not to waste my money with entrance and my time.

New in Playground, you need any flyer if you don't want to pay entrance, if not you have pay minimum 20 reais for consumption and 20 reais for entrance. Altogether 40 reais. I think I ll throw those flyers away because they will be useless to me, Playground is always dead, Thursday and Friday night, there were only 8 girls.

Termas Rio Antigo used to be on this same street at #2. I wonder if this is the same space or part of the same space? It was partially owned (if not 100%) by the guys who own 4 x4. Will poke around on the BR boards if I have time to try to find more info.

Rio Antigo, I never went there in the past so I can't tell you if the spaces are the same. What I know there are between 10 and 15 available girls in this terma. It depends on the day. I did not sessioned there I just visited.
