IMHO, spend the whole time in RJ with maybe some weekend excursions to Buzios, Paraty or Petropolis. There is so much to do and see in RJ -- you need a month to get oriented and experience it. Then once you get your sea-legs under you, spend the rest of the time partying, meeting people / girls and getting your fuck on. You won't regret it. Just my $.02.

A question from a newbie here.

Next year I plan to go to Brazil to stay one month.

Met a guy at the gym who has been there a lot and he really recommended staying in Rio and close to Copacabana.

But he isn't a monger like us, so questions I have is:

Is it worth staying one month in Rio or should I go somewhere else too? (Or even go to Colombia in the same trip etc).

What is your experience?

And what would you recommend a newbie? (mostly been mongering in Asia but they are kinda of the table ATM)..

IDK about Bogota. It's cold, high altitude, difficult to get things done, and most importantly these girls will just not do BBBJ and the associated extras. Forgot to elaborate in my previous reply. My experience with the rolas (women of Bogota) is mixed. They are definitely slower to warm to you than the instant make-out session you get with most cariocas. It takes work / money / display of high value to get them going. Even then, they are loath to do anything sans condom or even passionate DFK in my experience. Granted my experience is with non-pros / prepagos there. Ok before I get attacked for asking questions I did go back and read about 60 pages of post over the last week and a half. I did post once before and based on feed back from a few nice members I have decided to stay in CocaCabana for my first visit although It sounds like I ill bed spending a lot of time in Centro. So a couple more questions.

1) Have any of you had problems bringing a girl back to an Airbnb. I have a nice size budget 150 usd per night but so many hotels that I have written have told me I can't have any visitors. The few that have said they are ok just don't seem like super nice places to stay.

2) What's an average cost of an uber ride between Coco and centro. I'm sure I could take the bus or subway but I'm only there for two weeks and not sure how easy it is to navigate public transportation.

3) Are Termas and massage places easy to find walking down the street or do you need to google them ahead of time to find them.

4) Have any of you used PhotoAcompanhantes to find online escorts? Some seems very hot like 150-400 real. Are most legit or fake profiles.

FWIW, $150 is overkill for an AirBnB in Copacabana. Budget a third of that (more than likely you'll end up spending less) and spend the rest on partying and getting your fuck on. Just my $.02.

Do you prefer a beach vacation? Then Rio and its environs have everything you need. Base yourself in Copa and do short trips to Buzios, Ilha Grande, perhaps Parati as well.

Do you need nothing but mongering? Divide your stay between Copa, Barra and Centro and plan your vacation to hit as many targets as your stamina can handle, and then some, LOL.

There are no right or wrong ways to enjoy yourself. Just do what works for you.
