Saw this on Twitter, these broads talk I'm sure it's not just foreigners got them asking for what they asking. Maybe so but I think it was would be difficult to maintain if it was only foreigners paying these prices.
Well this is attached to what you posted. The most expensive hookers in Brazil. The cheapest of the most expensive is 600 per hour and the most expensive is 1,000 per hour. What tickles me is that there are guys reporting going to Monte Carlo and other termas and spending more money. AND chicks from Mabs asking these prices.

    https://paradisegirl.com.br/blog/aco...dium=own-tweet

The comments are insightful too. One guy says that in Club Platinum in Salvador you will not find a chick under 600. Another guy says that in Sao Paulo these chicks would fetch no more than 250-300 and the first one on the list asking for 600 is worth no more than 150.

1000 brl is still only 250 usd.

A porn star will charge 1000 usd.

That said I had a girl ask 600 brl / hour one time.

    I said no.

    I am getting 300 or 400 pernoite.

All you need to do is make a market— get 10-20 girls and offer 350 pernoite until you get yes.

    Sounds like a clusterfuck

The D. R tried the same thing and quickly dropped it. I have a trip already paid and booked starting Super Bowl Weekend and where I live it's impossible to do this nonsense. I'm guessing after a month they will drop this like a hit coal, anybody willing to bet?

You can now make an appointment for a free rapid COVID-19 virus test at the Health Department's COVID Express sites throughout the city. Test results are available within 24 hours or less of your visit. This means that most patients will receive their test results on the same day as their visit. All tests performed at these sites are PCR-based laboratory diagnostic tests, which are the most accurate type of test available. COVID-19 tests performed at COVID Express sites are free to all New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status.

Thanks for the info but where I live, north east England, I can't seem to find any under £99.

If I get a negative result and make it to Brazil, I won't care about the cost though.

Sounds like a ripoff to me

The costs range is from 100-150 for a private test in person where I live and results with 24-48 hours.

My flight to Brazil is at night time too, at a time when the clinics will be closed, so will have to do the 24 hour results test two days before I go.

So basically I won't know if I'm actually going until 24 hours before I go. I suffer with bad anxiety and this is going to kill me haha.

    Not impossible!

Plenty of labs, at least in large cities, offer rapid PCR tests. Some require a plane ticket, others a little more money. Sure it's a hassle, but on the bright side, I'd be a little more comfortable knowing that on a 10-hour flight my seatmates are likely not to have the disease.

I have been tested. They told me 48 hours for the result. I got it in less than 24!

Barra the Tijuca wins best spot due to the beach and safety

I just went for a swim at the beach today.

On balance, while I like Botafogo because I have many real friends there, Barra posto 6 (Transamerica) wins for me:

    1. The beach is really nice, and safe. As a neighbor told me, this is the safest 'hood in Rio. It really is Bolsonaro country. I like the food in Botafogo, like Na Brasa Colombia, but they have a Na Brasa Colombia here in Barra at Olegario district / street, which is near the metro, which brings me to the next point.

    2. There is a metro. Metro Jardim Oceanico is not as well known, but it is a metro, and there is therefore cheap and high speed travel to all of Rio, which most of we happy few mongers know well.

    3. It appears from Instagram recon of my favorite girls that the beaches in Recreio is where the hottest young ladies go on their beach days. So, I would recommend some recce of the beaches out past Recreio.

Oh, yeah, for what it is worth, I did try to find some Truvada or Truvada generico at the local pharmacia, including Pacheco, where the first referred me to. However, I did not find any. They do have the oral self test kits for $80 reais, as has been discussed on this board earlier. The closest local hospital where there are free tests is Av Ayrton Senna 2000, near Barra Shopping. Be safe, let me know if you are in Rio.

But for the benefit of the thread, I will take a few sentences about Botafogo.

Botafogo. Jardim Botanica (where Solarium, the best Zona Sul Terma IMHO) - is a middle class neighborhood in Brazil, next to a favela (Santa Marta) in some places. The prime spots are on Rua Sao Clemente and Rua Bambina, west to the location of Solarium.

The key is using city buses, and of course, the metro.

I lived at Sao Clemente for 7 months in 2015-2016 and was maybe the happiest of all my 27 trips to Rio. Indeed, even though I have become a fan of Transamerica in Barra the Tijuca, I would move back to Botafogo, and probably will, when and if I find a good spot...

Does this mean prior to starting my journey?

My flight goes from Manchester (UK) to Amsterdam (long overnight stopover) then to Rio.

In theory would I be ok with a test that was performed 71 hours before my flight leaves Manchester?

Yeah, the timing of this just feels "off".

I hope so, but many other countries did not. I am just worried if I can receive it soon enough. And need to know do pharmacies like CVS count Saturday and Sunday as the days included as their 3-4 days results.

"The restrictions dealt with in this Ordinance do not prevent foreigners from entering the country by air, provided that the migratory requirements appropriate to their condition are complied with, including having an entry visa, when required by the Brazilian legal system.

1 The traveler of international origin, Brazilian or foreign, must present to the airline responsible for the flight, before boarding:

    I. Document proving laboratory tests (RT-PCR), for screening for infection by SARS-CoV-2, with a negative / non-reactive result, performed 72 hours prior to the moment of shipment; and.

II. Traveller's Health Declaration (DSV) completed (in print or digitally) with the agreement on the sanitary measures that must be complied with during the period in the country.

2 The measures provided for in 1 take effect from 12/30/2020.

3 The migratory authority, at the provocation of the health authority, may prevent the entry into national territory of persons not listed in art. 3, when they do not meet the requirements set out in 1. ".

Starting on December 30th, 2021 you will need to bring a negative PCR test to board the plane to Brazil and sign the declaration agreeing to their COVID restrictions.
What is the travelers Heath declaration and where is it available to fill out and sign?
