Great write-up on 502 from Torgoch.

I was there again last night and thought I would try the larger Suite room for 1 hour. It was R$190 instead of R$120, not including entrance.

Room had a bigger shower, plus a sex-chair, nasty looking whirlpool tub, and a bigger bed. Best part was the framed instruction sheet for the sex-chair, which said something like "Instructions For Your Hour Of Pleasure."

I'd say there were 3-4 do-able girls (pretty) out of the lot of 20 or so, by my tastes. That's not a bad ratio for the price. After thinking on it a bit, I have concluded that generally what you are paying more for at the more expensive termas is slightly better facilities -- both in terms of perhaps a more comfortable boite / bar area, slightly better showers / toilets, and slightly better rooms. I know when I think about the facilities at 65 or Solarium, they're just a bit nicer (IMHO) than what I've seen at 502. So if that's worth it to you, then pay the higher price.

Personally, I enjoy a quieter bar area -- the main room at 502 is a bit too loud for me, and dark. I like the "smoking room" better, except for, well, all the smoking. That's why I like the bar areas at Solarium and 65 -- they just feel a bit more relaxed, well lit, fun. On the other hand, it's hard to be 502 pricing esp. if you get one of the 2-3 lookers.

I, m in Rio for 4 weeks. Mainly work but with a few free days and free evenings. Time to do a bit of exploring off the usual monger trail.

With the rising costs in Rio there has been some interest on the forum in visiting the other centro termas apart from the "premier division" ones (eg 4x4, Cancun, T65). Last night I paid a visit to Termas 502 and here are my observations to help others who may be interested in going. I hope that this helps prepare 502-newbies for a visit so at least you know what to expect when you go in.

World champion Jenson Button escaped an attempted armed mugging as he and a party of friends left the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo on Saturday night.

Button, his father John, manager Richard Goddard and physio Mile Collier were approached while travelling by car from the track, where Button had earlier qualified 11th for the Brazilian Grand Prix. None of the party was hurt.

McLaren had provided both Button and team mate Lewis Hamilton with reinforced armoured vehicles driven by armed police drivers, who had been trained in avoidance techniques.

The driver of Button’s vehicle reacted swiftly and rapidly forced his way through the traffic, taking them quickly away from danger and back to the Hilton Hotel.

The Sao Paulo authorities also acted quickly and promised to provide additional security to transfer all of the topline drivers and team personnel to the track for Sunday's race.

Prado Junior isn't my cup of tea. However I often walk my GFs dog in the early morning, as he likes to watch putas he often brings me down on Prado Junior.
On Prado Junior there is one bar that is always open and has a lot of GPs drinking beer in the morning. A real hardcore bunch of oldies, drug-addicts and "women" with deep voices.

Be careful if you do an early morning-picking in that bar.

I'm renting an apartment on Av Prado Jr and, as you mentioned in one of your reports, there is a bar on the other side of the road from me where girls are still hanging out drinking round 0700. Some of them look a bit rough but there was an absolute stunner there this morning.

Having heard that the parties at 4x4 are very good with lots of girls I thought I'd change my plans. No luck with a party, but I ended up with my Rio favourite. Lavinia, who was celebrating her last day at work before her 29th birthday on Sunday and was in party mood. Please check out Termas Black and White if you have time. I sessioned a B&W regular who was moonlighting at Florida on her day off a few months ago. Thanks guys for the advice on MDE. I had to book for San Jose today instead because the MDE Avianca flights that I needed were already booked solid, but will be using your info as guide to the MDE thread resources and planning MDE for my next short trip. I've heard of the former Medellin mansion, i gather it's the South American answer to BKK Eden or Pattaya Hell Club. Sao Paulo could benefit from having a place like that. I'm surprised Brasil doesn't have guaranteed service clubs. Even the termas performance is all over the place. Ane at Luomo, last year.. no anal, tried CBJ, WTF...then Pietra at L'uomo, this year, took it up the ass for almost 30 minutes and then swallowed the fruits of her labor. I know Centaurus is on the boarder with Ipanema, but looking for something last minute late in the night. Something like a Meia Petaca or any place to mix, mingle, and make a selection. Also, any SW's in Ipanema? Thanks.

As someone who travels to Rio multiple times per year I strongly object to your characterization of the oil rig guys who are there every 28 days as "oil patch trash." My experience has been that they are clean, quiet, respectful and usually sleep most of the flight. Also, I have learned a lot more from them than from your typical ignorant American traveler.

As someone who travels to Brazil multiple times per year, who cares. A Brazilian physician (female) in the next seat became engaged in conversation with one of these folk. Polite woman got treated to the full discourse of life upon the rig. While Brazilian children gaped in astonishment at the site of authentic American proletariat. Thanks to the anonymous Texan who shared with me the terminology. Hell, I'd nevah even been to the Lone Star State, much less seen the oil patch. Enjoy the learning.

Wow, so many assumptions on this board. Sorry, but I don't get excited by dirty tramps that see more than five guys a day. IMHO, it is nasty and dangerous! Arrived in Rio yesterday and heard from gringo management that whereas prior to the demise of Help, when 85% of their clientele was black usa, now their units are being rented primarily to 'families' and europeans. The present economy appears to be pricing out the bottom of the market. On the Continental flight over, the majority of passengers were Brazilian nationals (and would have been higher % if not for the 'oil patch trash'). Haven't seen this since the eary '90s. Looking forward to this one for the first time in a while.

When flying back and forth from Houston I shared many flights with oil rig workers. Hard working guys, but they really look down on Brazilians. Very red neck attitudes and they don't hide their prejudices.

I know you are probably trying to be positive, but really, most US woman suck. Most are materialistic,(especially in relative terms to foreign ladies) selfish, much harder to please, far more demanding, and unfeminine thanks to the feminism that has ruined woman in this country. Most guys score in foreign countries by paying for it. My firend lives in Henderson suburb of Vegas. We went out to bars where the locals go and he was scoring just fine. He is average looking but is a funny dude with lots of confidence. Most US women don't suck. Many come off sounding like they hate men, because most US men are dickweeds. But spend a short breaking through that with humor, confidence and manners and you are on your way. With your attitude, I can see why you would never be able to score with readily available US ladies. "Nuff said."
