But I don't like asking people for help. From reading the link below, it seem Brazil don't want people to come to their country and spend money. The rest of the world love tourist.

You will be fine in Rio with the cards you have, and credit cards work well everywhere. I have been to only one remote city that the ATM don't take foreign card at all.

LOL. Me and my girlfriend were just in Jericoacoara and "Fortalazy" from Tuesday to Sunday. I did not spend that much money for the entire trip, including her plane ticket from Recife and the rental car. If a chick in Brazil told me to pay that much to fuck one time, I would think I was on one of those shows like Punk'd. It just can not be real. I can't help but to figure 15 years ago in the 1. 52 days 3,000 reais would have been US $2,000! 3000 reais is still 3000 reais though no matter how you convert it.
