For fans of loud music and available girls, if you are not that interested in Brasil for its own sake or the Brasilian women, places like Dollhouse in AC are about the size of Help, and the whole of the AC monger area is many times the size as there are countless venues like Dollhouse. It's a bit like an open-air cattle ranch if that's what you fancy. Patpong only a village full instead of one street. There is a big proper disco or two there as well, but it's a bit time wasting when girls can be had without the same preliminaries outside and a lot of them just go there to relax after work. More or less anyone in AC is a working girl unless it's obvious she's not. But that belongs to the Philippines board. I prefer Brasil, with or without Help.

No there are not! There's nothing like Brasil. Or even (as far as I know) ho discos the size of Help. But for a major monger environment with very little else you can try Angeles City. (Simplified description) : Not a disco, just a large village of go-go bars with carry out, enough hotels to park your ass, and middle-rate food so you have something to do when not shagging and ogling.

Nothing like it that I know of. Help had a unique blend of characteristics. You could sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of Copacabana with drinks, food, girls etc. at TA. And you could go inside and indulge the illusion (and sometimes the reality) of exquisite non or semi pros at great value.

In terms of size, certainly Cyclone in Dubai was larger and it had the freelancers. Strange place BTW because the Chinese and Russian gdps divided the place down the middle and didn't ever cross the center line.
But it is closed now.

Thailand has many places much larger although not under one roof. I particularly like Phuket for the homey feeling.

There are spots in Jakarta as well.

In Spain there are maybe a dozen places like Help. The one I remember was the one in Casteldefells in Barcelona. Unfortunately it's been closed too. Still there are many other ones left, especially around Madrid.
Then the River Palace in Kiev, Ukraine ... closed too!
Another option are the fabulous FKK's in Germany. There are some in Switzerland too.
Also a few discos in Prague, Czech Republic.
Maybe the discos on the "Corniche" in Morocco.
And in Africa, there might be a many too.
Surely, I have missed some ...

Boate Subsolo / ex-Subway (Centro - Av. Rio Branco, 14 - Subsolo), just over Av. Pres Vargas. Close to a bunch of Termas like T31, MV 30, etc.

For those of you that miss Help there is a poor substitute in centro. A lot of the centro terma girls go there after close. Opens around 11.30 pm or so. I have been there 2 or 3 times, there is not really a cover, just a consumption which isn't much. Need to be very careful with the waiters, they will try and rip you off as much as possible. My rule is when I go to a new place I drink beer or coke and make sure the bill can't be run up too much. Anyway, girls will usually take R$80 or so, thats what the Brazilian guys will get, they will of course start at R$200 os do. Most go to the motel Sao Bento accross the street which is R$30 or so, depending on what you want. It is pretty crappy but ok. There are no rooms on the premise. You can take a girl back to copacabana for the night of course, although I don't.

Maybe 50 girls on a decent night, much closer than Barra. Be careful in this area at night, definitely cab it, it is crack city after 11.00pm. Open Mon- Friday although do not go Monday, it is dead!

Good place to get down and dirty in Rio De Janeiro............

It's definitely a hole - almost literally, in fact - but it's worth seeing just because it's a part of carioca history. Together with Florida in Praça Mauá, it's the longest running clip joint in town, established, IIRC, in the 1930s.

The current decor looks to have been laid over the original decor in the 1970s or do. It was apparently a very happening joint in the early 1970s. A Help of the times.

They tried again on monday, but i was ready for them and immediately informed them that I wanted all of change. I think I will say something to the mangaer on thursday, they are both cool guys who i think will listen.

Also the locker girl approached me asking for a tip when i was changing back into my street clothes. Sylvia never asked for a tip and all this girl did was bring me my robe and slippers, nothing deserving of a tip!

At least the door man has stopped asking for a tip when i leave. I said `why dont you ever ask brasilians for a tip? ` he just gave me a mean look.

You must have been there the same time I was there. I am definitely going to speak to the managers next time.
