Out of the all the marriages in the states of former GDPs that I know, only 2 of them have lasted more than 5 years. All the others got divorced within 2-3 years.

reading the post below from donald nez made me want to give my opinion. He and many others are happy to ask for updated information on privês that are open but without interest of sharing updated information on which privês that are open or closed. What about sharing information?

The problem with this forum when it comes to giving out information on privês is that the majority are happy to get information for free but have no interest of sharing updated information or new discoveries.

This didn't used to be a big problem back in the days when help was open. Most mongers sticked to help and the upscale termas. Now with less options and higher prices more mongers seek out the privês.

The result of this is that many privês get "gringoized" and ruined. Indiscreet gringos disturbing the peace, spoiling the girls with tips etc.

Imo it's better to share valuable info by pm with those who cares to contribute.

In my experience very few girls in Rio termas speak English. I would say that Centaurus seems to have a higher percentage of girls who speak English. If a GDP speaks very good English chances are she's been in the biz for a very long time.

Maybe the weather has turned or just a coincidence but it seems that every GDP (Garota de programa=working girl) that I know seems to be getting married to foreigners this month. I count three in one month, two to Germans and one to a Spanish guy. All three girls have basically said to me that they are fucking the dudes over.

Out of say 100 of these marriages between a GDP and a foreign guy, I can't remember 1 lasting more than a few years. 75% are done inside 2 years.

Loved your report. I must add that by entering to Centaurus, I feel like I have a "I am dummy" name tag clipped on my shirt. The management are not baby and they are clever enough to know that your a newbie who's willing to pay US$300 for 40 mins even though she sex turns out to be ok or not. They are using these petty strategies against any lone wolf or first terimer in Rio. Forget these dirt sandwiches, I'm glad you had fun. I was addicted to 4x4 and I banged chiks there every night. If you got a choice of 80 chiks to be your bed partner, brazil is numer um in that department. However, it sounds like you had a great time. I'm having fun with Hungarian cjiks in London now. Centaurus is full of hungry gdps but I've had alot of fun there twice and seen the girls outside for free (well that means food! LOL).all in all you lose to gain I guess. The overall standard is very high in Centaurus but 4 x 4 is creeping back up. I went to 119 in Centro-this place is straight ghetto-20 mins for 35 rheais or less-some hot girls-all negras but clientele is super seedy in general-puts me way off. Crowding around girls like animals and way outweighing girls in numbers. 7 girls with 35 dudes. Rio quality has imo less to do with the name on the door rather than convenience to the girl or ignorance.

Some may come from rural Brazil with no knowledge of big termas and start small untill put onto the game-some don't like restrictions big termas place in terms of fines etc. I say meet locals and also do the occasional terma! The standard gdp in a big terma makes 3000 rheais a week there-I'm not talking the stars. Probably double. I know one who just turned 20 who bought a house when she was 18 and is selling it now to buy another bigger one. Hustle. If you like straight gutter grime go to Villamosa where brand new gdps go for their first time ever to pay off a phone bill or sth! Crazy stuff. So the story goes.

This was going on even before Help closed and is a major reason why I will no longer write detailed trip reports. People read and benefit from all of the intel you provide in your reports without ever giving anything back. Not even a thank you, let alone a detailed trip report or two of their own. I'm happy to share what I know in the public forums broadly speaking, but when it comes to getting into the nitty gritty and helping somebody out on a personal level, you have to go to PMs. I knew people who went to Brazil and frequented Help and no other place. Never set foot in a terma or prive or boite even once. Unbelievable! Wish a Help-like place would arise from the ashes and draw these folks away once again.

Why do you think it wouldn't work? The problems I see is the age difference, unattractive men, fat, language problems, cultural (if the girl goes to the other country). And then we got the three things theres not much to do anything about. 1."A gdp will always be a gdp. 2. She is simply not in love and there is nothing to do about it. 3. She wants a Brasileiro that got the same background and understand every little thing about the Brazilian language and culture.

I'm curious because I had / have some activities going on with brasileiras that I have met in the puticlubs in Madrid and Malaga. I can't really ask my mom about advice on this one.

Agreed, its all about volume, keep looking. When I was there last January I went from door to door until I found what I liked. The good thing is the centro prives are super concentrated on Rio branco and nearby. You can visit a dozen in about 2 hours. Note the ones you like and then return more leisurely.

I was surprised that the facilities in most were way inferior to the Sampa clinicas, night and day different. But in Sampa they are spread out so you can't jump around and window shop. In Rio centro you can. I prefer window shopping option.

Was canvassing Rio Branco last month and some of the other spots listed on this site but many were not there. Any updates on what's open. Will be there next week.
