I was there this past October and the taxistas in front of Meia Pataca call GDPs to the area if you ask. It's all really discreet. And there are a couple of dudes Washington and Luis who work umbrellas and chairs across the street at the beach they also call girls if you request. This is less discreet as someone mentioned " the American and their dates have arrived" LOL. Personally I rather not take chances w picking these girls up in the street or Balcony I prefer termas.

Good thing I only entered the pool on my last day, but afterwards I became very ill and it made for a very long flight home LOL.

I also used the jacuzzi and sauna at a terma and got really sick shortly after, symptoms were fever, chills, sore throat and weakness. Really took 3 days to fully recover after antibiotics, loads of meds and some TLC. Is there something in the water or is this sickness really attributed to excessive mongering LOL?

This is a warning to fellow players in Brazil. Be very careful if you intend to use the jacuzzi in a terma suite or a pool at a motel. I have done it only twice and I have become really sick both times.
