I will soon make my first visit to Brazil and Rio de Janeiro and would really appreciate some advice about Vila Mimosa.

"Regular" tourist advice often says that robbery (and murder) is a certainty at Vila Mimosa, whereas some mongers depict it as paradise on earth. I guess the truth is somewhere in between those views. I don't mind if the place is downtrodden and filthy. In fact I like to go to seedy places, as long as they are not very dangerous.

What I mainly want to know is when / if it's safe to visit Vila Mimosa. My second question is if the working girls are "honest", which basically means that they will provide the services promised for the asked price (I know I need to keep an eye on my money and valuables at all times).

I don't speak Portuguese, nor Spanish and I won't blend in since I am of east Asian descent.

The surrounding area is reported to be unsafe, so I know I should make sure to have an Uber or a taxi ready for transports.

Hi ISG people who like what I like, which is girls, girls, girls and then fun.

I am a latino from Miami. Speak portuguese quite fluently from my castellano (spanish) native language. I have been many times in Rio, every year from 1999 to 2019. I was pretty familiar with the P4 P scene but not anymore for not being able to visit for the pandemy.

I know my way around Rio and quite familiar with navigating the city. As a result I am happy to report, from the security point of view, had never been in major troubles or had issues with robberies or scams because I like to be very careful. Thru the years I have taken friends and relatives to hobby with ease given my portuguese. I have also been in 4 Rio carnavals and 3 Samba Parades. I 've been in many old venues like legendary Help, Luomo, and all the major termas.

Having said that. This time I am going alone, and given my cautious approach, I would like to get together with fellow mongers in Rio from 8/20 to 8/27. It is safer to party in a group than doing it on your own. Any Rio expert here can tell how dangerous Rio can be.

I want to live the life. Massages, termas, MAB's, and the like. As I have never been to Barra for the "activities" we love so much (only been there for the beaches), I am particularly interested with Senhor Vagabundo who reportedly organizes sexpeditions to the Barra's venues. That I would love to do if Mr Vagabundo would honor me.

I also want to do Rio touristy stuff: Maracana, centro tours, Sugar Loaf, Cristo Redentor, etc. I also plan to visit Ilha Grande and Paraty. I am staying at IBIS Copacabana. It is very near a metro station what makes moving around Rio very quick and cheap.

After Rio, I am going to Manaus from 8/28 to 9/20. I spent there the 2020 carnaval before the COVID shutdown. Happy to report that Manaus is my specialty. I've been visiting MAO from 1996 and know the city like my own hand, specially the whoring venues. I am a card holding founding member of legendary Remulos and similar venues. I am also into doing touristy stuff like river tours, Teatro AMazonas, centro tours, forro's tours, massages tours, etc.

Also extremely pleased to report that MAO (Manaus) is a prime city for non-pros. I have met dozens of normal, sexy, hot, gringo-loving girls. If you want to get a GFE with a normal girlfriend, this the place.

After my trip I will report extensively on Manaus, there's been a very long time since Sperto used to enlighten us about the beautiful, non-pro heaven, Manaus.

Passed by around 5 PM. Decided to check if they were still doing the no entrance fee if you session before 6 PM, as a previous post stated that they trying to get rid of it. One of the owners was by the reception desk, so asked him. He confirmed that they are still doing that.

Had a repeat session with a prive girl. Asked her how much of the fee she gets. Was told it was 50%, plus they have to pay a weekly fee for internet ads by the prive, and a fee if they miss a day. Couldn't believe how little they get for an hour of fucking. Lucky if they make 200-300 real a day. Bear that in mind when terma girls or freelancers ask for ridiculous amounts to session.

I just met a cute 23 year old girl who works security at a trucking company, 6 nights a week (10 hour over night shift). She makes 1400 R a month!! I thought about making an indecent proposal and offering her a 2 K a month salary for 3 days a week, 2 hour sessions!! So when I see these terma girls asking for 1000 reais to spend the night. GTFOH!

My biggest problem on this 2 month trip has been finding a girl at night in Mabs / DV who I am willing to spend 300 R / hour for. There are so many girls in centro for 120-150 R an hour that I can't justify paying double that amount!!

Went to Lapa about 9 PM Tuesday. Walked by Up House, the brothel on Av. Mem de Sa. Tout said free admission. Asked bouncer if could take a free look (olhada sem compromisso). Bouncer said OK. Walked in. 3 girls, all with guys. Walked out. Told bouncer no girls. No issues leaving. Had a couple of caipirinhas (8 real each) at Baronessa bar, listening to live music, and then went back to hotel.

Never heard of this place before. Do you have more info about it? How was the quality of the 3 girls you saw? There are only 2 reports on gparena. The older report dated 10/19/2019 reported 170 reais for 30 minutes. I wonder if the price has increased since then. Regardless, might have to check it out on my next trip.
