Trump's not driving that policy. He could care less. Blame the Evangelicals like Sessions and Pence. They try to restore their view of social order every time there is a Republican administration.
Laissez-faire good! Laissez-fairy bad! Lol.

Outcalls?
Except from girls found on the beach it seems most do incalls from what I read here?
Any suggestions for places in Rio to find the girls who are willing to come to my apartment / hotel? Doesn't seem like people have been very successful with tinder.

Actually it's mentioned a few times.

It's also located close to mongering scenes. A 5-10 minutes walk and you'll be in Vila Mimosa. Just outside the Parque Quinta the Boa Vista (where the museum is located) there are streetwalkers selling their goods.
Not to forget, a 10 min quick walk and you'll can enjoy the nightlife in Feira de São Cristóvão.
I've enjoyed the Museu Nacional many times. The last time in January this year. First culture in Museu Nacional, then wildlife at the ZOO next door (reopened not so long ago with new management, lots of improvements), lunch at Feira de São Cristóvão and finally desert at Vila Mimosa. Rio is never boring.

The museum hold a collection of 20 million scientifically and culturally invaluable artifacts and much of it have now been destroyed. Museu Nacional was a pride to most brazilians and a cultural heritage that hold the spirit of Brazil. The circumstances of the fire are terrible. Brazil mourns this big loss.

And it is even more amazing they think this would be accepted by the members of the community. Would it be accepted in yours? Either you don't know shit about business and/or you have been in this hobby too long and have lost touch with the real world. (Seriously, what are they supposed to put when they apply for the license? How are they to advertise the place? TV advert: Hookers and tricks, come meet up at my brand new disco built just for you?) As you said, shit just morphs that way with no intention. The Help knockoff that opened up with that intention lasted all of 2 weeks.
I understand where you are coming from. Regardless of the laws pertaining to mongering, no city actually wants to be known for a great *****house. Certainly, the City of Rio de Janeiro "encouraged" the closure and sale of the old Help Disco.
However, boates like Scandallo in Sao Paulo and Fazendinha in Campinas are initially opened exactly as *****houses.

Help never started as a disco for hookers. I'm pretty sure it started off as a regular club and then it became popular with gringos. As most foreigners when visiting Brazil they stayed around Copacabana and Ipanema area. You had very dirt poor broke attractive Brazilian women. So naturally when they see rich foreigners, the rest became history. But the reason why they closed down help was because greedy property owners in Copacabana made complaints and they thought closing down a club like help will increase there value on there property especially with the Olympics 2016. They thought the Olympics would put Brazil on the map and Copacabana would be a hot bed for tourist.
The Olympics came and went. Around 2010-2016, The Same Apartment you saw on Airbnb that was going for $200-$300 per night. In 2018 is now selling for $50 bucks. You see how greed and short sideness made you come up short? If help was still open. It would have bring in more tourist and your property value would somewhat remain high as a lot of gringos would be renting apartments and staying at hotels.

I agree. It's like a movie sequel-it's never as good and it's forced. There won't be a new HELP but there are other things -look for and appreciate other spots for what they are-don’t knock em for what they're NOT!
Yall need HELP getting past it-stop yearning for the old and enjoy the now-plenty of spots in Rio still decent on the right day and I never got to go to HELP but love Rio.
Nonetheless.

Even if your only interest in Brazil is mongering and brazilian culture means nothing to you, even so you should respect such a big loss to the country. When the fire is a very fresh wound one shouldn't make jokes about turning the museum into a wh*rehouse. That's a joke on a very low level. That's my opinion. Feel free to think different.
Btw, Jair Bolsonaro, the front-runner in Brazil's presidential election, was stabbed yesterday during a campaign rally. Propably another issue that's of no interest to you. Culture and politics are not about bundas. However, Bolsonaro (if he wins) might have influence on your mongering.
Side-note: I just noted a funny thing. JuveStadium copying my posts. Might be an explanation in all the PMs JuveStadium (aka VilaMimosa) sent (which all went to the trash without being read).
