Actually Dolce Vita is right there next to where Balcony used to be.

Ahh, I remember that place. I just never went up there. The stairs were just to the left of Balcony (as you were facing the Balcony).

Why did the Balcony close? That was a fun place. I remember an Ex-pat that married a Carioca owned the place. I remember that my Brazilian friends sent me a news video a few years back that the police said a fight had broke out and they went in to break it up and noticed that prostitution was going on. This is a such a bull shit lie. Atlantica Ave just outside of the Balcony was lined with cops. Someone didn't pay their bribe on time? Is this what happened to L'umo. A fight broke out and the the Brazilian equivalent to Inspector Clouseau shows up and notices women in bikinis fucking for money?

Is the Balcony on Atlantica Ave still in operation? That was a fun place to go after the termas closed and people watch and I occasionally picked up a GDP there. I also enjoyed the girls that sat on the backs of cars up and down the avenida. I had never been to Help but this place was a fun diversion that took up some slack.

About two years ago Florida reopened as "Flórida Club", a dance club (at least some days of the week). When looking at their Facebook page it even looks like a "boiola" club.
It seems like the club has sunday parties, "Flórida After", but not involving any girls.
I don't know, maybe it works as a stripclub some weekdays?

I used to frequent Florida a lot when it was a regular strip-club. When there were ships in the harbour the club was full. In the nineties there were naked strippers, dildo shows and even once I saw a live show. The quality of the girls were good. You sessioned with the girls in rooms upstairs or at the Motel Puma next door. You also had the option with some girls to bring them back to your place. Some girls even went for free. Next to Florida was Bar Escandinávia which wasn't that good. On the other side of the street was a large bar/restaurant called Filipino Bar where you always had lots of freelancers.

If there was abundant mongering during the military regime, I would think he would be inclined to accept it. I think the last visit for me was in 2014 and it was pretty sad hence why I didn't even check it out when I was in Rio for 2 months last year. It was pretty much the 5-7 GDPs every night that I was there, sweet ladies but most were old & ugly and not even worth the $20 30 minutes fuck. The time that was best for me over the years I visited it was 2011. Decent selection of girls, 10+ every night mostly in the 6 - 7 range. But it went downhill over the years.

The best session I had at boate Florida was with a tall black chick. She was the most popular girl and was always busy so I was only able to session with her once on that short trip. A memorable moment that had always stuck with me about her was after I popped my load, we cuddled together and she motioned me to lick her ears, which I happily obliged, and then she told me to touch her buceta and it was wet AF.
