You bring up an excellent point which is rarely addressed on this forum -- should I bring a Balcony girl back to my apartment or hotel?

Over the years, I have had a couple bad experiences. They happened before I learned Portuguese and ranged from a girl thinking she was moving in and calling the police when she found out otherwise to a girl who was obviously on drugs to one that tried to steal anything not tied down or too heavy. These rare experiences are more than balanced out by the many great ones but do bring to mind the need to exercise a little caution particularly when you are bringing her to an apartment and when you are new to Brazil and don't speak Portuguese.

The privs are a good option: are $ 100 are $150. But the line up is short and you have to make your decision quickly, even if the meninas are average. Of course you can turn around and leave, but I rarely do it.

To each his own. You can get laid at a trash place for R$40 or go to a privê with clean rooms and shower and get laid for R$55 and up. At the privées the lineup can be everything between 2-15 girls. The privê quality varies, but for sure many privê girls beats the terma-girls. If you don't like the presentation at a privê it's just to leave and head to another.

I have nothing against up-scale termas, but IMO it's a waste of money. I have no need to robe up and chat a long time with the girls before having a session. Privées suits me perfect.

Food. Can be very cheap or very expensive. Comida a quilo at Aipo Aipim might cost you R$35. The same plate at a more simple place costs less than half. Prato feito you can have for R$10-17. There are also all-you-can-eat places costing about R$15. Not to forget the chinese lanchonettes with Yakisoba noodles and meat costing R$13.

As I stay in a favela my food options are even cheaper. Giant excellent hamburgers that you almost can't hold with two hands costing R$5 and all-you-can-eat buffet for R$12.

I wrote the text on WORD and transferring to ISG it lost the are in front of the $. So all the costs down to $700 are in Reals and the 3 last ($300, $150 and $450) are in USD.

You can save by having one pop per day and by going to trash places like Villa Mimosa, where you can have a quickie for are $50 (USD $20). It is fun to go there once in a while, but it would be too bad not to go to 4 x4 and other termas as well as to the privês.

Rio is an expensive city in general-on par with London etc for many things-some more expensive-some less.

You also can save if you venture. Ie a prato executivo with frango grelhado, arroz, salada etc is 20 in Copa but in Ipa you can find it for 14 and in the favela near Leme its 10 just as an example.

A Coco is 3 reais in select places on Copa beach- (not kiosks) but most kiosks are 5/6.

I am in Rio right now and was in 4 X4 and that was (after having a beer + a water) about US $150 and that was for ONE Girl. Next day was at MC and that place is little pricier but all in about $165 for ONE Girl (with a beer + a water). Balcony Girls wanted between 200-300 as you stated and have paid on average are $250 (US $96). These numbers are at US $1=are $2. 6 which is pretty good. All that to say if you are doing 2 girls a day in Rio you're going to blow through US $2,000 easily (using the 10 days in your analysis) unless you're finding the cheaper Termas which I confess I have not. Where I am staying with a buddy is just overlooking the beach and was US $ 2,300 for 7 days (so 1,150 between us). And I haven't even included the flight and food yet.

I agree that Rio will make you spend money. The freebies even require as we got to eat, drink etc.

The cheaper termas I do frequent and they come out to about 1/3-40% of the total price of mc /4 x4.

If one searches it is possible to save-I personally don't go to privies as I like the bar / club environment more music / dancing etc.

So cheap termas can be fun too. 119,mv, t31,black and white etc.

Cancun is in the middle price wise. Its predominantly locals with occasional gringos.

I guess I go there accepting I'm going to spend money as I don't want to go there and watch every step. I'm in RIO!

They have Prives and similar spots like that all over Centro. I only pulled 2 girls out of Balcony. I had my fun in Centro and the quility was not worth me pulling the trigger at Balcony. Balcony really makes me miss Help.

I haven't found any one bedrooms for less than 100 bucks a night and that is no where near beach front, more like 3 blocks in. It was normally $125 a night, he gave me a deal of 100 bucks because I was staying for 10 days. (This was during the slow season, I can only imagine how much he will want in March).

So back to my budget, before I even get off the plane I am out 2 K (Air faire and apartment).

Entertainment:

Girls - 1 hour at a major terma (4 x4, MC) will run you over 100 dollars. I haven't started going to the prives yet, but I will in March.

Most Internet chicas wants 250 R to 300 R for a two hour romp.

Balcony garotas want 200 R to 300 R for either one hour or all night.

So that averages out to about 200-300 dollars a day on GDPs if you do 2 fucks a day.

I like to go clubbing while I am in Rio. I can easily drop $100-150 night on taxis, entrance fees and drinks.

The average price of a ticket from JFK to GIG is about $1,300 dollars. I rounded it down to 1 k to make the math easier. (I just double checked for the end of March and I haven found anything under 1300 bucks).

I know I can cut down on the cost for GDPs by 50%. On my March trip I plan on hitting a number of prives and casas instead of the major termas.

We get our ticket 4 or 5 months ahead of time. And we watch the tickets prices a week or 2 before we purchase it every day. We goto to Termas and a lot of prives. Prives can save you a lot of money and they are a lot of them. We don't do any internet chics, to much waiting for me and you domt know who is going to show up. We don't know a lot about Rio club scene. Been to Lapa and that's about it. Can you recommend any clubs?

That $6000 is too high. I spent $800 on my flight. Spent 3 days in Manaus and 11 days in Rio. Never spent more than $950 on ticket from jfk to gig. Our two bedroom apartment in Copacabana one 150 feet from the beach was $1532 for 11 days, that $70 a day for my half. We go hard the first 3 or 4 days, then slow down gor 1 day then pick back up. We do all the spots level on termas to VM. I spent about $2000 US. The dollar is real strong also.
