I just checked the BarraVips website and they have some pretty impressive girls. Do you know are the girls real there or they are using fake photos? And also wondering what are the prices, didn't find info at the website.

I've only been to Rio once and not Sao Paulo so I'm not exactly an expert but I thought that Rio was safer than some people made out on here, providing you have common sense and take precautions. Bad things happen in every major city in the world.

I was doing at least 20,000 steps a day around Copacabana and Centro and never got any bother. Day time in Copacabana is fine and night time get an Uber. If you're scared of your own shadow stay at home.

I wore zipped shorts with a hidden pocket for my card, only carried enough money for that particular day, I don't wear jewelry, kept my regular phone in the hotel safe and I don't drink alcohol but if you do just don't get wasted. Just common sense really.

It's good as a first visit to Brazil to try to go both SP and Rio. As you can see, they are different. Also every guy has a different mongering style, and it's hard to know what you will like. I tend to stick to SP now. Other guys really prefer Rio and wonder why we go to SP, overpay and go to Scandallo.
