One thing that first-time or occasional visitors to Rio / Brazil often are not aware of (and that even some seasoned veterans sometimes refuse to believe) is this: the vast majority of GDPs (girls) are connected and either know each other directly, or know each other indirectly.

They all join each other's facebook pages, accumulating "friends" from their co-workers over time in termas, in privees, as escorts etc. They also *all* -- and I mean *all* -- participate in What'sApp groups. For those not familiar with What'sApp groups (particularly people in the USA and Europe or Asia where it's not as popular as Brazil), it is an Instant Messaging smartphone app that *everyone* in Brazil uses for messaging.

For the past 3-4 years, what's app consistently has been in the top 4 most-downloaded apps in Brazil. Only recently (like last 3+ months) has Snapchat even cracked the Top 10. So these girls all join What'sApp chat groups that have hundreds of GDP members where they trade stories about clients, silly stuff like dick pics, GIFs, etc.

If you think the girls are not talking about you, you are wrong. I gave a Victoria's Secret gift bag to a favorite the other day, and noticed she immediately posted it to a What'sApp Group along with another similar bag of goodies that another client gave her.

Which brings me back to this: when people say "Hey fuck you, Cartman, I'll pay what I want (or how I want)" or "please feel free to keep overpaying (GDP type x) as long as you don't overpay (GDP type y)", you are missing (or worse, willfully ignoring) the fact that the girls will end up sharing all your behavior and it can hurt the market for the rest of us -- whether long time residents or newbies.

Yes, one person's overpaying will get shared to a What'sApp group with 300+ GDPs. It will. Probably with an "rsrsrs" or "kkkkkkkkk" at the end of it. Can I guarantee that such sharing will encourage other girls to ask outrageous things as well? No. But it sure is more than likely.

Again, I know people just don't care. It's my analogy below about the guys who leave the lights and AC on in our conference rooms, because they don't have to pay the company's electric bill. They are selfish pricks who don't give a shit, and then whine if they can't get more free cookies in the break room or that 20% raise, when the company's budget can't handle it. Or it's the guy who pisses in the pool and gets out -- a nice warm experience for him, but not so great for the other swimmers and / or the next guy who dives in.

But I try to offer helpful advice here (don't pay up front, don't pay more than BRL $300-$500 for an escort unless she's doing bareback anal and making you breakfast at the same time, etc). I'm not saying only pay BRL 70 for girls you pull out of VM. I'm trying to orient you to the market and not overpay -- you're certainly welcome to pay less.

I do so in the sense of helping others. When you overpay or pay up front, you are not helping others. You are not helping your brothers in arms on this board. You are helping (at best) only yourself.

(Sure, Disneyland will try to charge you some crazy price -- but that's scarcity value, you're trapped in their park for 8 hours with screaming kids. There is *no* scarcity value in Brazil for GDPs. Literally. It is the definition of abundance mentality).

This is my last word on the subject, as arguing with folks on the internet is about as worthwhile as trying to get Trump to give up the comb-over.
