Damn Jimmy I read this post too damn late. Went to 502 today because of the presumed value and when I walked in I was thoroughly disappointed. 15 girls all with pot bellies and a few locals. This place is definitely a dive. It was so bad I didn't even finish my 1st drink. After the 2nd girl asked for a drink from me I bounced. This place should not be considered tier 1.

Left for 4 x 4 and had a blast.

Terma 502 is not a Tier 1 terma. The Tier 1 termas I know are 4 x4, Terma 65, and Cancun in Centro, and Monte Carlo, Solarium, and Centaurus in Copacabana / Ipanema. Terma 502 is at best a Tier 2 terma, along with MV 30.

I haven't been to Terma 65 in years so have no idea of the current lineup. Sessions are 285 real for 40 minutes and 350 for an hour (90 real entrance currently being waved if you do a session).

I went to Cancun last November. Not impressed with the lineup. Maybe 2 girls I liked (did one for I think real 340 for an hour), but they weren't any better than the prive girls for half the price or less.

I went to Cancun twice in November with a friend. The first time I found two girls I liked. My friend picked one of them and I picked the other. She turned out to be a little chunkier in the room than she did in the boite but she was nice enough, although not any better than the prive girls. The second time we went the girl that my friend had picked the first time I no longer found that attractive so didn't choose her. Since there wasn't anyone interesting in the boite, I sat on the couch in front of the reception desk waiting for my friend to finish his session. As I told my friend when he came back from his session, if you want to kill your boner, sit here, as you can see what the girls really look like when they walk by.

As I told you when we talked, termas are basically for fucking after the prives close or to drink and fondle a girl to warm yourself up to fuck, although you will pay at least double for the the privilege of doing so, as yesterday I had three one-hour sessions, including BBBJ (all 3), anal (2 of them), and CIM (2 of them), with thee different girls in prives for 400 real, which is the price for a one hour session (including entry) at Cancun, 4 x4, and Terma 65.

Based upon somebody's misguided post here that I read many years ago, I thought Brazilians might be a little offended if you tried to communicate with them using Spanish. From my first trip to Brazil forward, I found that to be so not true! They appreciate your attempts to communicate the best way you can, unlike in France. So, I use my Portunol. My Portuguese should be better by this time, but I have neither the time nor inclination to study. So, Portunol it is. And it works!

I agree. I have never had any Brazilian be other than pleased at and sympathetic to my trying to talk to them in Portunol or Portuguese, even though I usually butcher the latter.

Over the years, I have tried to explain Centaurus about 10 times, so what is once more?

First, the owners and managers at Centaurus could not care less about gringos. If they depended on the gringo to survive, they would have gone out of business long ago. Second, think about US country clubs that charge high membership fees. One of the reasons they do so is to keep out the riff raff and keep their membership exclusive. Same can be said of the Japanese Geisha bars. The do not want and most times do not allow the Gaijin (gringo) to enter. Third, many Brazilian businessmen go to Centaurus on expense accounts and entertain clients there. They do not care about cost.

Back in my early and nave Rio days, I too used to rail on Centaurus and their business model. Then one day it all made sense.

I am an expatriate working in Tokyo, unlike termas and bars in Brazil, bars don't offer sex, these bars are for working men that need someone to listen to them talking about their life, their day.

Many bars are not gaijin friendly, there are some bars that are gaijin friendly but it is not interesting they are scams. No sex maybe a hand job or blow job in the bar if you spent too much like 200 300 dollars champagne.

I think you mean Soaplands, they are Japanese borthels that offer sex, there is Japanese and gaijin price, many soaplands are not gaijin friendly there are some that are gaijin friendly but many of their girls are not gaijin friendly, it is more because of the language barrier.

I don't really like to monger in Japan, I am not into Asian women Brazil is better I am more into booty. Vaginal sex is illegal in Japan, blow job and anal sex is not illegal, it is crazy.

Just curious, how long have you been learning / speaking Portuguese? It sounds like you get around pretty well.

Airlines are offering unheard of deals to Brazil right now, and although I had plans to hit ukraine, I might have to strike while the iron is hot. This kinda stuff is good to know, and I don't think it would be fair if you received a penalty for sharing what you did.

Went last November on a Tuesday. Was told entry was 25 real consumption, or two beers. Went in- place was empty, with 6 girls and an equal number of guys. None of the girls was much of anything, so after finishing my two beers, I went to pay my tab, and was told that I owed 34 real instead of the twenty-five I gave the woman. I asked why and she said that the beers I had were not the beers that were covered by the 25 real consumption fee, even though no one said that when asked about the entrance fee or when I ordered the beers.

This Tuesday I was taking an American guy I met at a prive on a tour of the bars in Centro and walked by Termas 502 to show him where it was. I asked the pricing and was told 30 real consumption and 140 real for 30 minutes and 180 real for an hour, and that there were 30 girls present. After we finished the tour and the American guy went back to Copacabana, I went back to Termas 502 because of the pricing, since I had thought it was 250 real for an hour when I was there last time, and the 30 girls. I went in and the place was again almost empty, with 10-12 girls and about 15 guys. The girls were nothing special. One chunky blonde claimed she knew me from 4 x4 and tried to get me to go with her, saying I could fuck her ass. I declined, saying I was tired. She then tried to get me to buy her a beer; when I declined, she left in a huff and didn't look at me again.

A few minutes later a brunette sat by me and kept telling me something but I couldn't understand anything she said, as she appeared drunk. I finally figured out what she was telling me; she wanted me to buy her a beer. I declined, telling her she had already had too many, and she wandered off.

I finished my caipivodka and left, since there was nothing there worth fucking. I gave the woman at the desk the 31 real that was the total price (per the piece of paper they gave on entering) of the caipirinha and caipivodka that I ordered. I was told that the bill was 46 real, not 31 real. I asked why, since the 30 real consumption requirement was met. She said that 15 real was the entrance fee and only the remaining 15 real was for consumption (even though they never said that when I asked before I entered), so I owed 16 real more.

I am fully aware of the rules. I went to a place that I knew had women to have sex with a woman. Turns out the one I chose happened not to be a woman (the only one), so I left. Just relating my experience there to inform others who might go there.

Went to this prive this afternoon to check it out. As soon as I entered, the woman who opened the door grabbed me and dragged me to a room. She started to take my stuff off me as if she was going to start the session, without my even agreeing to a session. I resisted, telling her that I was just there to see the place and the girls and get pricing information. She said something that sounded like 40, so I assume it was 40 real, but she didn't say the time period. I said I was not interested and tried to leave but then another girl, with a huge ass, came in and shook her ass at me, telling me to fuck her, with the other girl saying two for the price of one.

Since I wouldn't fuck either of them (or anyone there) even for free, I said no thanks and tried to leave. They blocked the door and said if I didn't have a session, I would have to pay a 30 real entrance fee. I told them that was ridiculous, that no other prive charged to look at the girls, and if they did, then they needed to tell me before I entered, so I wasn't paying. We argued back and forth, during which I was able to get out of the room but the girl wouldn't unlock the front door unless I paid. I told them I wasn't paying and that I would just stay there until they opened the door, either for me or for a new client. After a few minutes of more demands for payment, she finally gave up and opened the door, muttering something (presumably cursing at me) when I went through the door.

Unless you want to be manhandled by ugly, aggressive women who try to intimidate you into paying some ridiculous fee, you may wish to avoid this place.
