I was down in southern Brazil for two weeks during Halloween to visit a non-pro g / f and arranged my flight home to include a 9 hour stopover in Rio.

Once the plane touched down and the plane door opened I range walked out to the taxi line and jumped in and we sped off to Copa. Lucky traffic wasn't too heavy and I was done checking into the Mar Plaza by 1030 pm. It was raining so I changed my plan to hit solarium and walked to Monte Carlo since it was literally a 3 min walk away.

I hadn't been inside the MC since 2013 but things looked about the same as I was getting undressed and showered.
Overall session was decent, Priscila gave a good performance, I would probably repeat if I was late again and had missed the hotter girls. Price was if I recall--100 to enter + 120 for the "suite" + 330 to the girl for an hour. Will definitely stop in again in February when I am back for carnival and also hit solarium and some other places as well.

What was strange was they didn't change clothes at all, kept their street clothes on, shoes and hats and just put the robes on over. I looked around the room and was quite dismayed at the lack of talent. It was a Friday night about 1130 pm by this time. FWIW, Ibis hotels are always my first night option in a new Brazilian city, while searching for Airbnb. Ibis are girl friendly, and have everything I need. In Rio, Ibis in Centro (pra tiradentes near centro termas at Carioca Metro), Botafogo, and Copa. Not the Sheraton Leblon, but has all the required amenities.

I had 3 nights, the first AirBnb host never showed up so hauling my luggage around Ipanema without internet looking for a hotel put a dent on my first night, so really just 2 nights. I think if you got full 7-10 days you ok. I was expecting to see more talent for every wish and taste of the places that are recommended the top ones on here. I agree on the wingman. THe city is huge, spread, and lots of different kinds of girls. In this economy, one must be able to find anything he wants with the right contacts.

Forgot to mention:

I quite enjoyed my stay at the Abilità Suites Ipanema Tower. Can't remember what I paid, you get a nice balcony with partial view of the ocean, separate bedroom and nice living room space. It's run like a hotel but I had zero problem bringing in a girl, just walked passed the front desk no questions asked. This place is just about 2 blocks from Garota Ipanema, which serves some amazing brazilian steak. Internet in the room was spotty that's my only complaint. So had to use one in the lobby.

If you book on AirBnbn you should be ok, just make sure you remind the host the date and time of your arrival, if you need WIFI also ask, I found it to be pretty bad in Rio, I would also suggest the host have good reviews.

I'm preparing for my upcoming trip. I sat down with my priv-list from March and started to compare my addresses with new prives reported on Gpguia. I was very impressed! I havn't seen so many new addresses for many years. Of course, some of the new addresses are old places that have moved to a new location. Still it looks very promising.

Just on Av Rio Branco, no 156 and 185, and Av Treze de Maio, no 33 and 47, there about 60 salas I will check out, not counting all those I will stumble on during my exploration.

Two friends of mine went to Rio earlier this year and stayed in the same hotel we stayed in last year, very close to Copa Cabana. Same rules applied, hotel clerk at night let them pass with girls for a small payment. I can receive PM now, so I'm happy to share the name of the hotel we used through PM. Missing Rio man!
