I know there are games on Sat and Sundays at its famous Maracana Stadium. I will be in Rio May 21 - 28. I rented a studio right in the middle of Copacabana because I love the beach and also wanted to stay within tourist area. Unless you already booked a place, can you consider Copa instead? Trip report continued.

OK, so after my fun at the Centro casas I was hungry and drained.

I hit a chinese restaurant, had some good beef, vegetables and noodles and a couple bottles of water. Rested up and people watched a bit, and formulated my night plan.

It was about 8 pm when I got to the Terma, 4 x4.

I decided to go there just by it's reputation, and figured it was a good place to go for my first Terma experience.

Though actually, officially, I believe Sao Paulo has one Terma.

It's on Augusta, named Balnearios.

Been there a few times, but it's not much to rave about.

Anyway, entered 4 x4, talked to the reception girl, she directed me to the locker room, and I got changed into my bathrobe and sandals.

I have to admit, I felt like an idiot wearing it, but all the other dudes were dressed up the same, so whatever....

It contains the addresses and numbers a lot of Prives, termas, agencies, even motels. The site is in a Portuguese (it has helped me learn) and some have a link to a pic of the garota. I plan on possibly even checking out a few in Barra de Tijuca and Niteroi. BTW. I would love to go to a soccer match. Does anyone have a hook up on the tickets to a match on Sat 5/23, Sat 5/30 or Sun 5/31?

What is your basis for this report. When were you in Rio?

I've been in Rio 10 times in the last 2 years and its 100% the case.

I've seen 100's of incidents. Muleques runnin on to buses-snatching stuff on beach and on beach front and at night. Be sensible.

Don't bring valuables to the beach and especially on weekends this is an issue when theyre out of school and come from Zona Norte and run back on metro.

OK guys don't forget about the safety while mongering in Rio because those gangs of boys you saw or heard about has become aggressive lately, very aggressive. They are attacking people daylight, robbing Cell phones, handbags, necklaces, watches etc. If you are talking on the cell phone in Rio, you better watch out. How bad is this situation? Well, bad enough that insurance companies has started advertising "cell phone insurance". It has been on TV lately as more and more people are complaining that the government is not doing anything about these boys. The problems is that the boys committing these crimes are between 12-16 and the government seem to have their hands tied. The boys (4-8 of them) see their target and attack, grab stuff and start running and that is it, in some cases they become violent if the victim is resisting. So pay extra attention on the streets; day or night.

Bonding is easy if you connect and theyll be more than happy to link you and tbh many fall in love a little bit and will come for food / transport / drinks.

The place is pretty much a dive, but nothing horrible, just a dive bar.

No robes either, thank the Lord, LOL.

I did, however, spot this cute mulata.

We got a table together, she got a vodka and redbull, 20 R.

She was a sweety so no biggie.

She was actually from the Bahia, living in Rio for over 10 years though.

Very cute and affectionate. I actually felt a connection as opposed to the 4 x4 more hard core girls.

So I went upstairs with her, cost was a funny amount.

I remember like 144 R.

I jokingly told the money-collector guy that I only had 142 R, and he smiled and said "tudo bem", 142 R, LOL.

Luckily, I had popped some V, so I was up to the task.

Very nice session.

If I am not mistaken, Rio Branco 181 is were the famous Flavias massage place was located before it closed ...

... BTW, I also remember having to go back down to the lobby and ask at the front circular counter about location. It was on same floor, but in a location that was totally out of sequence in reference to the other offices, from what I remember. Yes, its crazy, but then again, its Brazil. Thats part of the fun I guess. Enjoy Ricker!

The price at U24 was 40R for 20 minutes.
At least a couple sessions went to about 30 minutes, with no knock or complaining.
I think maybe because I brought little Snicker bars to the place and gave the Tia running the place 3 of em.

Also, about the noise level there with the loud Funk music.
After my first, full Funk session, I tipped the Tia 10R to turn the music volume down, and change the songs to something more suave. Much better.

Well, I finally made it to Rio and thanks to Bubba, Sperto, Cartman, F-MedDig, and other guys, I had lots of info on hand and a general game plan for fun.

I decided to start my adventure with a trip to Centro to check out the prives, have dinner, and then hit a Terma to see what that's all about.

I grabbed a taxi to the Ipanema metro station.

Wanted to check out the metro system, which turns out is about as simple as a train system can be.

My plan was the Sperto quick Centro casa tour.

I hit Carioca 59 first, nothing but scary looking girls there, I was missing Sao Paulo at this point, LOL.

I continued over to Uruguaina 24, and there was actually several cuties there, though the place is dumpy and loud.

I chose a a thin girl, but with a nice booty, and she was very friendly.

The session was surprisingly very good, and about as GFE as you can get in a place like that.

I did find the place, but no one answered. Similar to your situation, I ran into another Brazilian business man who was knocking on the door / ringing door bell, but no answer. I am going to Rio for a week at the end of May and promise to write a good report when I get back. This forum was a huge help to me so I will be glad to pay my dues! I have been reading it for 2 months and I guess I am pretty prepared for the trip and know what to expect. I speak no Portuguese so my only option is Copacabana and its termas. I mongered a few times in the past. In Boca Chica last year, also in Prague and Kiev. It will be my first trip to Rio. The only problem is that travelling solo comes with some inconveniences.
