Sheraton Leblon is GF and a very decent hotel. It is however a 10-30 minute ride away from action in Ipanema and Copa.

Rio vs sao paulo
I spent 3 days in SP and 3 in Rio; its not much but enough to get a glimpse of the action. As a newbie, I like Rio better. It has this vacation feeling that I did not get I SP. Also, everything is concentrated close to Copa. In Sp it cost me a lot in taxi.
4 x4 is great. Lots of women and very affordable.
Tonight I will go to mosaico but I have to wait till 10 when the girls start to arrive.
I did not find anybody to come with me so I will be extra careful and not wander too much in the streets.

Dates: June 3rd to June 11th (flying in and out of Sao Paulo).
1. How many nights should we be in Sao Paulo vs Rio (8 nights total). I am currently thinking 2 nights in SP, 5 nights in Rio, and the last night again in SP before we fly out.
2. In rio. Which hotel should we stay in? Thinking of getting our own rooms as are intentions are to have a girl over every other night in our room. We were ideally looking for a sure shot girl friendly hotel (something on or close to the beach).

2 nights in SP and 5 in Rio is good. Make sure you goto Scandolla in Sao Paulo. And make sure you goto 4 x4 in Rio. Enjoy.

Vagabundo linked up with an ISGer in Botafogo and had a meal at Na Brasa Colombia, always excellent.
We took metro to 202. Wow, what super talent. The best ones were scooped up before I could session, but arriving 18 h is optimal.
Around the corner at 116, it was packed, and lots of good talent. 116 is loud and smoke filled. Two times I tried to take a fave up to a room. Both times there was a delay and the f'kin local music and smoke drove me to cancel, and they gave me my70 r for 20 minutes back, and I joined wingman who wanted to go.
Between those venues we also went to an little club 04 where michelle noemie bilas Obama spreads her big negra cheeks on command for rabbi vagabundo's bratwurst.
Then to club 31, which had just 4 girls, and wingman said lets move on.
Mv30 cover 25 was to his and my liking, perhaps more upscale in that there is an actual boate, and an actual pool room, and the cover keeps the customers who pay nada at 202 and 116 out.
But that was about enough, so we headed "home" whatever that means, and ubered out like space aliens leaving earth 54,000 years ago.
Roughly that's how I feel.
I regretted not fucking that old fave at 116, but the fucking pounding music and the second hand smoke. At 116 or 202, the best is to get in and fuck. But they are great clubs. So much porn quality talent.
The hotel on the darkside at rua the inhuama 95 is closed.
It's a ravenous town.
Nice report, where is club 202 and club 04? I will be in Rio on May 22. Thanks.

Last year I got a first class seat to Brazil using miles at a great rate, the food was not much better and the seats were the same. During the covid years they had great deals using miles now they want too much miles, it's not worth it. It can blow the budget especially you're spending big part of your budget just for 10 hours of luxury when you can use that extra money on your 2 week trip. But I hate coach for such a long flight and I'm very spoiled having worked for the airlines many years ago and flying to Rio always first class which in those days was much different level than today. Life is short, live it up, buy the business class ticket, stretch out and enjoy yourself.
I hear you, but even 3. 6 would be too rich for my blood. I'd hate breaking my brain trying to calculate how much fun I could've had for that kind of dough, kkkk.
To me, the realm of possible is when Biz fares are within 250% of coach. That much I can justify -- still grudgingly, LOL.
Miles are the best, but super-hard to redeem for Biz nowadays, unless you're very flexible.

1. IMHO, you're setting yourselves for a disappointment. Both are huge cities, and you don't have enough time for either of them, especially since this is your maiden voyage. If you can't stay longer, do SP OR Rio, but not both.
2. If you pick Rio, forget Sheraton. It's GF, at least was 9 years ago, but better stay in Copa to be close to everything. Leblon is not far, but it can take a while to get anywhere in Rio traffic. Read the hotels thread for GF hotels in Copa, or find a 2-bdrm GF Airbnb. Hilton and JW Marriott are both GF.

In Rio really enjoyed Arena Leme all the way at the northeast end of Copa beach. Well priced super nice and beachfront. Pool is tiny like a hot tub. If that matters. Otherwise great with rooftop bar and amazing view. I walked my girl straight past the front desk at 10 pm and absolutely no discussion. All good.

I saw her perform live at the old Market Street Cinema in San Francisco years ago (you also used to go up in there and fuck the "dancers" LOL):

Also don't forget these (I've done Lufthansa to Europe several times and LATAM to South America is a real option for me now): https://www.cntraveler.com/story/air...h-splurging-on.
