Knowing Brazilians they will just jack up the price to compete with the dollar. I remember when the 4 x4 was 280 R per hour, now its 320 R per hour and with the Real losing value everyday. I would not be surprised if its 400 R per hour.

I wonder how long they can keep that up because eventually the locals will not be able to afford to patron the place. I would think that eventually they will price themselves out of business or the girls will leave for smaller venues where they can get more customers a day.

Last time I was in Rio when the rate was 3 to 1 was about 2004. I was able to rent a hotel in Ipanema for 120 reals a night which cost me about 35 to 40 dollars a night. Girls were costing me about 200 reals max, which worked out to 60 bucks. Can you compare the buying power of 3 to 1 then compared to now. I guess this question is for people on the scene now that can give accurate prices.

8 bedroom house in Rio? Each room with a private bathroom? Not going to happen. Just reserve 8 rooms at the Atlantico Hotel, don't waste your time and energy. You will have enough headaches trying to rally 8 guys into making plans as a group once you arrive in Brazil.

I don't know the last time you have been to Rio, but things are not the same in that market as they were before. I reported back in December that the girls in Balcony were asking 300 reais for 1 hour. I ended up getting one for 100 at the end of the night, but most would not budge from the high prices. In addition, when I walked back to the apartment later one night, I saw some of the same girls as SWs in front of the cars down Av Atlantica as were at Balcony trying to pick up tricks earlier.
