Most of us who visit termas in Rio spend most of our time playing in Division 1 - 4 x4, Monte Carlo, Cancun and if you have the bucks in Solarium, T65 and if you have the bucks and no brains in Centaurus. In Division 1 the facilities are good, the number / range / quality of girls is usually good and costs are at least 300 RL per hour.

Division 2 termas are less well reported. Usually for good reason as the quality of facilities / girls are lower. But some gems can be found. I've visited MV30 quite a lot over the years and met some great girls there in 2010-2012, pickings (for me) are a bit bare there at the moment and the prices are approaching Div1 at 250 RL per hour, but I'll keep going back to check!

Tonight I thought I would check out some of the other Division 2 termas.

Termas 502 - Rua de Alfandega. Quite well known on ISG. Entrada is 20 RL and you get 2 free beers included. No Robes. You can walk in with your bag, They give you an entrance card which is marked with your drinks and sessions and you pay on the front desk on the way out. I was there between 7 and 8 pm on a Tuesday. Fairly quiet with maybe 15-20 girls with arrange of body types. Strangely everything stopped and the lights went up for a game of bingo!! There is a main bar plus a smaller smoking room. I was attracted by two girls with big tits. A loira branca who I didn't get to talk to and a small stacked bahiana called Fabrina that I'm going back tomorrow to enjoy. One hour is 190 RL.

Termas 31 - Rua the Alcantara Machado 31.

This is close to MV30. As you walk down Mayrink Veiga from Rio Branco, Alcantara Machado is the road on the right just before MV30. There is promotion at the moment with free entrance and all drinks are 10 RL. You have to check bags in at the front desk. I checked mine in and everything was still there (including a small camera) when I picked it up. No robes. You get a card which is marked with drinks etc. The place at 8 pm was more or less dead. There were about 10-12 girls with about half fuglies (there are some girls who should not be allowed to wear bikinis. In T31 there were 3 of them, overweight with guts and ripples of fat). There were several nice looking girls. If you like big butts there was a tall mulatta with an afro and huge butt from Bahia who I talked to. Nice girl, I forget her name but look out for the afro and bunda. I stayed about 30 minutes to check the place out then left. Sessions are 30/40/60 minutes and I think the Bahiana said they were 100/120/140 RL respectively.

Termas 81 - Rua the Quitanda 81.

This is close to 4 x4. From Av. Rio Branco walk down Buenos Aires past 4 x4 and then take the next road on the right, this is Quitanda. T81 has no entrance fee but you have to buy at least one drink. The guy on the door speaks English. He will give you an entrance card which is marked with your drinks The stairs up from the street lead straight into the boate which is basically a smallish room with a bar along one wall plus the desk where you go to pay and get your card stamped to exit. No robes. This place had lots of locals drinking and about 10 girls. I didn't stay long. Didn't talk to any girls and didn't find out prices, but I wouldn't bother.

On a walk round I found the following.

Faceclub. Rua the Quitanda 74.

This termas appeared on the Brazilian forums last year and had LOTS of activity but was quiet recently. I was looking forward to paying it a visit but its closed.

Aquarius. Rua do Acre 61. (close to MV30 on the "dark side" Closed with For Rent sign outside.

America Night Club. Rua Visconde the Inhauma 105. Closed at 6 pm when I walked past.

IN SUMMARY. Most of these termas are pretty poor quality (except MV30 and 502) but are worth a look before heading off to 4 x4 or other Centro termas as (a) I am sure that gems can be found in places if you keep looking and (b) they are cheap and so are worth a visit to relax and drink in a locals environment.

Great news! Very to hear that the talent is very high in Monte Carlo! Mac and 4 x4 are my two favorite termas since Luomo closed. I hope this trend keeps up into 2015.

I hadn't been there for quite some time, probably more than a year, but I was downtown early and decided to stop in and check it out. It seems that they have expanded it and upgraded rooms. Nice new mirrored room with shower en suite. Maybe it was always there, but I had never seen this in the past. Some will try and charge you 240 R for a massage and HJ, while others you can get laid for 150 R. After my fruitless foray in Av, 13 de Maio 33, I went to Emporio do Banho on Rua do Rosario for a contrast and to see some Division 1 girls. To get to the prive, you go in from the street, at the end of a short corridor is the elevator, go up to the 3rd floor. There are two salas on the floor, 301 and 302), both are part of the prive but the front desk is in 301.

By now it was lunch time and so half the girls were busy. There has been a turnover of girls and they are all new from my last visit in April. SAD NEWS!! For me and Sperto. I Didn't realise until my last trip that there are a number of prives in the tall skyscraper on Av. 13 de Maio – this is building number 33 (called Edificio Central). The building is located behind the municipal theatre in cinelandia. The easiest way to get to it is to travel to Carioca metro station and take the back entrance out of the station (or exit to Av Rio Branco and then double back on yourself). Then cross over the main road (Av, republica do Chile) and Av 13 de Maio is in front of you (look up before you cross and you will see the tall building which is number 33).

To enter the building itself you have to go down a small side street. As with the Rio Branco skyscrapers, you have to take different elevators to get to different parts of the building. The first 4 floors are shops which you access via escalators (don't bother unless you are after cheap internet access). To get to floors 5-24 you take the elevators in the entrance to the building – one does floors 5-24 and the other does 25 to 35. To get to floors 25-35 then you need to take the escalator up to the second floor. Don't worry, everything is signposted. You will have to queue up to get in the elevator. Somebody sits in the elevator all day and pushes the buttons – feel sorry for them, what a job! - tell tehm what floor you want to go to.

Saw 5 girls – Giovana, Deborah (too many tattoos for me), Mirela (her first day there, cute, big ass but a bit chubby), Brenda (thin mulatta) plus another matchstick thin mulatta whose name I forget. Prices are 100/120/140 RL for 30/40/60 minutes. Rooms not ensuite. I would go with the Madam but not any of the girls!

Espaco Vip sala 2406.

Forgettable. I wouldn't bother. Here you rent a cubicle (with a massage table, and walls that don't go to the ceiling) and then negotiate with the girls directly for the extras. I was told room rental is 80/100 RL for 40/60 minutes (I think they do a 30 minute option as well). Gp guia quotes a price of 160/ HR completa. I saw a number of girls but I would say they are Division 2 quality. I wouldn't bother.

Feticao Feminino sala 1301.

I went there because Camilla Tudao took my eye – she wasn't there. Two girls were – Erica (Big tall mulatta with false tits and Jaque (mulatta but all natural). Rooms pretty basic with no ensuite. By now I'the given up so I forgot to ask prices.

All in all, the exploration turned out to be a disappointment. I'the go back to Poderosa (hopefully to see the other 3 girls) and then session (most likely with Luna), but I doubt I would return to the others. But if you don't look you never know what gems might be found!
