Sorry for the delay just got back from 13 days in Rio.


Day 2- Wednesday.

I hit the Orla early for beach stroll and run after that Bibis for breakfast. A buddy swings by and we make our way to Eden Spa in Copa. Went to Centaurus this Saturday.

This time had a better bus ride experience, apparently there are some blue express buses for R13, from Barra to Zona Sul. The buses avoid all the traffic and have a more direct scenic route, they are much more comfortable than the regular R3 buses. The seats are wide and deep with padding, so you don't feel the Six Flag Great Adventure driving experience.

Got to the end of Ipanema and beginning of Copa and walked to Centaurus for about 5 minutes. Luomo has been closed for years dude! There is no new face of Rio-its business as usual-the police and local government make a lot of reais off termas and privees. The only area that will go is probably Praca Maua-I don't think VM will go either-the so-called bullet train between SP and Rio that was due to get built where VM is, keeps getting delayed like everything in Brazil=it won't happen.
