Considering the number of gringos in Rio right now the reporting is extremely slow. At least there are some interesting reading in the local papers.

ChuckZ, If you are a "one time only" / "just a few times" guy, then of course money should not be the deciding factor. (You only live once).

Unfortunately, high price do not guarantee a good experience. There are numerous senior board members here with oceans of experience about who's worth it, and who's not.

"Investing" in the small memberfee, so you can email to other senior members would pay you back from day 1.

Seriously, if you are a "just once in a while" guy, then getting a good experience is so much more important. And emailing / asking for help from other senior members is a big big help on the way.

I appreciate the comments. I feel no matter what anyone says, I have to visit Centarus because its there. It will always haunt me if I don't. Money is not a concern (if I do it once). If I was a frequent terma customer in Rio, I understand choosing the better value. I know ill probably regret spending the money after, but won't really care during. The penis wants what it wants. What can you do.

Monte Carlo report!

Ok my first time at a terma. People keep their underwear on under their robes? WTF? Are you supposed to? I didn't, I'm no prude, and maybe I'm used to USA kSpas where you have to strip to "be legit". Anywho, it would have been nice to know what SoP is there. It seems like theres no issue either way. Just wierd tomsee dudes in soccer shirts and boxers hanging out, when I expected that it was normal to be naked.

Regardless, if you're in Rio now, do not go after 8 pm. Place gets filled with assholes. Also expect (and I appreciate) very safe play from everyone. Baby wipes, mouthwash available. I spent my time with a super cute girl who reminded me of a girl I fantasized about in high school. Unfortunately, it was probably on the level of a decent college lay. None of this vaunted brazillian passion. Although it was a good time. I highly recommend hitting a terma once, its fun, as long as you don't got too late when it gets packed with assholes.

Strangely it got waaaaaay more interesting afterwards. I got approached by two normal-ish looking chicks, and offered to buy them a drink. I was on my way home from checking out mabs, wanted to gawk at car crashes, and these two 19 yo looking chicks come up to me. One cute light skinned, super skinny, the other really chubby, but really funny. So I buy them a chop just talk, and they keep asking me about my phone because they're worried about their friend, and I tell them my phone doesn't work, its American, as my spidey sense is tingling. Anywho, after a while they reveal to me that the cute one is a gdp, (although clearly sonewhat inexperienced, and I was unsure of their ages so I declined, but I was having fun talking to them especially the chubby darkskinned girl from bahia, so I happilly paid for another round of chopps. I mention I know some working girls in NYC, a the that I'm cool. Which she clearly appreciated.

Anywho Brazillian dude walked over started talking to the cute one, and she kinda asked me for permission to talk to him. And I said cool we're just friends, as I thought you know what, this is advanced mongering in Brasil, and I got my nut already, lets see what happens, Brazillian dude just hands her his white gold iphone 5's, and she's just looks at it, does her business and moves and hands it back. Maybe I was too cautious, and she was looking to just text her 'friend'? Any who, I gave her my mongering email, doubt ill hear anything back. But I got good moqueca tips out of it. So it was super cool for me.

Regardless, I was apparently muito sympatico e muito legal. They kissed me on the cheek before I left and said ciao & ate lago. I'd love some ideas from people in the know, as to what the fuck was actually going on.

I've heard / read so much about Centarus that I have to visit at least once before I leave Rio at end of month. Majority of reports all say best looking women at Centarus, but pricey. I'm ok with the price hit since I'm only going to do it once. But, is the quality / quantity of women any different from a weekday vs a weekend? Tried searching thread, couldn't find an answer.

Hm, all my reports have said much hotter girls in other places esp Centro termas. But sure go spend your cash. The saleswoman in China would have been happy if I paid her opening price of US $600 per "Hermes" bag and not the $110 we finaly settled on.

I myself had toyed with the idea of coming to Brazil during WC, particularly for the US game against Portugal last night. I would have hated the game (I can't stand the idea of a game ending in a tie.) Also, it sounds like there would have been poor and overpriced punting. Glad I went this past April.

Going to try again tomorrow, but I'm guessing its going to be termas or blue balls in Rio. Going to hit ipanema tomorrow, and see if its any better there. (Doubt it).

No difference on weekdays vs. Weekends.

The girls have to work 5 days a week and the manager decides which days.

They are fined if they do not show up for work and the fines are highest on Friday and Saturday.

Thanks, that is a very useful report from a guy who has similar tastes (if you were hooking up with girls in POA Cidade Baixa clubs and it was more fun than the termas). It confirms my view that other cities in Brazil are preferable to Rio.

FWIW, my approach with non pros was numbers. I would go to some photo location, and ask only the hot girls to take pictures of me, and while checking how the picture came out as the girl usually wants to do, say, hey, vc muito linda, quer vamos na hotel, and use the panda biz card as as screensaver. See attached.
