Went to centro to visit a terma for the first time and everywhere was closed.

4 x4, terma 65,502.

Went to cops and MC was also shut.

Does anyone know why? Time was about 7 pm.

the owner is being brought up on charges for **** prostitution. his case was being heard by a judge today to determine if it was going to trial or being thrown out. if it was thrown out he would have been able to reopen, or so i have been told. as of 1:30 am on tuesday morning (late monday night) the balcony remains closed. so i can only guess that the judge, with all the bribes and / or coercion he may have received, has decided the case worthy of trial. this means the place will stay closed indefinitely and the owner will now be fighting to prove his innocence or he will be going to jail. it is all a bunch of bull shit, the bottom line is they are using this to close it down during the world cup. tonight there were hundreds and hundreds on both sides, still many working girls, so they accomplished absolutely nothing by doing this to him.

the problem is he was given many hints. about a year ago he was set up with charges of ****d girls and a guy who was dealing drugs next door. it was all over the news included the girls and the drug dealer being interviewed on tv. the message was it was time to go, your days are numbered.

and, just because a place is busy does not mean it is making money. can't tell you how many guys i saw there nursing a coke all night and guys who told me they bought their drinks outside at more than half the price. all the overhead in brazil is absurd. at the end of the day not much left for the guy taking all the risk.

the owner is not a bad guy. hope all works out as best it can.

The terma I was talking about is Solarium.

I actually feel a genuine sadness because it's my last session tomorrow. But I can at least console myself with that I will have some unforgettable memories. And today I got my 10, the girl I missed last time I was there.

Some tips. Come early, before I said that it only was locals but today, I showed up at 20 and the place was packed. The earlier times I have been there at 15-16 and then I have been basically alone.

The prices are a little bit high but you get what you pay for. 40 min session is around 410-500.

I have done 4 sessions here now and all was 9. Yesterday I saw my dream girl (big 10) but she was kissing up anorher guy and after 20 min they went up. But I will be back for more.
I will say the name on the terma on Thursday. I don't want it to be overrun before I'm leaving (haven't seen so many gringos there, only locals)...

It's the middle of the week now. Why would you want to go to the Copa termas when nearly every poster here says 4 x4 is as good or better, for cheaper? The only reason to go somewhere else is because 4 x4 and downtown massage spots are closed.

If you haven't realized this, then you are essentially stating that you haven't read the forums at all.

I've read pages and pages of the forum, but as I said in my original post, I will have a very limited time window so my plan is to get someplace as close to my hotel in copa as possible. Would love to try 4 x4, but don't think The location is feasible for me.

I do Centro spots and within those there are great differences as well-some are a mix of tourists / local police in disguise / politicians / businessmen: 4 x 4,T65 etc and then you have the division down 502,t81,mv30 and the dumps like 119,america, florida, t31,21. You can find some goodies but have to be willing to expect a lot of moving around window shopping. I have been lucky. I also do MC as I catch a good one there and then meet her on her day off for free. Centaurus is fun but pricey. Have had insane sessions at MC,4 x 4,MV, Florida--just depends.

Am back in Rio from 24th at night till 28th.

MC has the BEST music in the rooms too-very sexy stuff. Kinda helps w vibe for me at least. I dig it occasionally.

In Rio for a few days only. I'm jealous of you guys who have time and freedom to explore all the options and goodies. I unfortunately will have limited time and freedom of movement and so will have to limit myself to the termas options near my hotel in copa. I ve narrowed it down to Luomo, Monte Carlo or Centraus.

I've resolved myself to pay the higher prices, but anyone know what they might be right now during the WC? And if you just had to choose one of the three places for quality and comfort, which one would you choose?
