All the information is good, but you should also get there early. I arrived at the office around 13:30 today and was told to come back tomorrow as there were too many people waiting for today. i know most people posting here don't give a shit, but i'll say it again. balcony is constantly watched by the police. there were some very high profile "child porn / **** sex" busts in 2013 related to people who frequent the place, and the residents in the apartment building over the restaurant constantly complain to the cops. so if you go there, you are likely being watched / recorded by rio police. that may not be a big deal to someone here on vacation (though maybe it should be) , but my god is it a huge deal if you live here. caveat emptor.

Fun fact, the Uruguai station has been requested by residents since the metro started in 1979. And people think Brazil will be ready for World Cup and Olympics, lmao! Apparently plans are rumored to tunnel under the mountains and connect Uruguai with the new Gavea metro stop when it opens. I'll believe it when I see it!

My feelings exactly. I recently went thinking, why bother at these prices? It was quite a laugh at Rs30 all in, and a few beers, banter, maybe a dance, and try two or three girls as the night wore on. Rs50 makes it a bit more serious, especially when they can't fix the leaky roof. But I saw a stunner, name of "Dell", and she was quite stand-offish, merely signed "50" to me as I caught her eye through the crowd. The same in the room, as if she didn't want to be there. I used to be a big fan of Vila Mimosa. I found plenty of gems at VM, charging R$25.
After they raised the prices at VM to R$40 I almost stopped going there.

Today I gave VM a try. I was really surprised of the relatively large number of 8´s and 9´s. Very good indeed. Prices R$40-50.
I had a go with a beautiful 21 year old mulatta with a great body. Face like an angel, really firm tits, slim, long legs and a small and round wellshaped bubblebutt. Excellent service in a clean (!) cabin with good AC. She only works at VM once a week as she normally do modelling jobs. True or not, I don´t care.
