I agree. I don't follow the logic of those that say Rio wants to clean up the city by closing the termas. The termas are extremely discreet. Like Combo, on my first trip to Rio it took me like 20 min just to find Monte Carlo and I was within 4 blocks the whole time. I can't even tell you the trouble I had finding Luomo back in the day. The termas have nothing to do with how Rio is viewed. You have to really be looking for these places to find them. Now places like Balcony and of course Help that's another story. It pretty obvious what is / was going on. I can undersrtand wanting to remove that but termas? Come on. They're out of sight to anyone who is not a monger.

If Eike Batista's recent shenanigans are any indication, the Brazilian economy is in for a world of hurt. It all seems like a house of cards ready to fall. Just 18 months ago, Eike's net worth was $30 billion and today he's just a multi millionaire with his EBX company's holdings declaring bankruptcy due to speculation and empty promises. The economic boom in Brazil is also based on a lot of "potential" and promises to deliver on the world's biggest stage of World Cup and Olympics.

Not really want to generate any discussion on this thread because I like to share information about girls instead of discussing money, but I think I have the rule if you have money and want to have fun in Rio, pay for it. But how? In many ways, first if you have a decent salary in Rio and want to fuck a nice chik pay in average 300 reais per hour, but right now there are many Brazilians who spend more than that, for instance myself I got a email from a booker with different models, cover magazines (playboy, sexy, funk dancers etc) in average you will spend 2000 or 3000 reais per two hours, the question is why should I spend that money, to show off maybe, to belong to VIP list, what is the difference with those girls, sex is the same but I think you pay for especial moments, because you can pay for it, the sex is not different at all.

I have been in a party in Eike Batista's apartment, where I saw hot girls even famous panicats, but Eike can afford every GP or semi pro, and he does because he has money and there are many Brazilians that think like that.

There are many girls who charge less money or insane amount of reais, but the market is free and if they are in Rio is because someone could afford it.

This is a Rio de Janeiro lovers thread. The DR has its own threads. If you want to push The DR, then you should be doing it over there, not here. The DR has never been better than Brazil for mongering and never will be. But, you don't see us going over there trying to talk Rio up in front of those who prefer The DR. That type of behavior should not be encouraged anywhere in the forums. If you like one place over another, then you should post in the threads for that one place versus going to the other and putting it down. That's just plain etiquette and prevents unnecessary tensions.

This is my first post. After 4 ½ years I went back to Copacabana last trip 5/2009 Help's last month. This was my 12th and final trip to Rio. I really feel bad for anyone that did not visit before the closing of Help. I landed on November 26th in the morning, went to the beach instead of finding topless beauties, I saw a bunch of gay guys and families, kids, and tourist. Back in the day I never ventured farther than the beach and Help. I am not a termas guy, all my work was done on those two spots. It was a 100% chance you would get a GFE experience. I would find a girl on the beach have a session in the afternoon and invite her back at midnight so we could dance at Help all night. With this you get the BBBJ with cim and anal was always thrown in. My choice was to head up to 'the Balcony' where during my 5 day period got 8 girls out of there with 2 duplas. I paid all 200r each. I highly doubt the World Cup and Olympics broadcasts are going to be zooming in on Monte Carlo or 4X4 Termas. Hell, I remember my first trip to Rio years ago, I walked past Monte Carlo several times without even being aware of what is was. OTOH girls on the street might by chance be noticed.

I learned my lesson the hard way. I went to Monte Carlo by 5pm so I can bang a chik by 6 and get home and take a nap by 8pm for round 2 by midnight. The MC management uses the same strategy similar to lunch deal by pizza hut. They are aware that after 7pm, the promos from Centro Termas like 4x4 is over by 7pm, as well as other centro option are dead by the evening. Thus, only 5-6 girls show up until 7 and the rest of the gang show up post 7pm. Last month, I was seriously pissed when the receptionist told me that Tuesday free entrance is over, and you have to spend R$900 to gain a free entrance. When I stopped by 5pm, I only saw nearly 5 girls and I was informed that MC full chik stock arrive by 7pm. By 6pm, I was thinking that If I ditch MC now, I have to pay R$90 entrance plus 8 or 10 for the beer, so I was economically forced to do a programma with a girl who is far far below than Bel Prazer casa quality chiK. At the moment, she was the most doable but my point is that MC got this petty strategies which will hook the client. I will hit Brazil probably by mid January and I must say that it's still cheaper and better than other places in the world. I'm banging some super model quality type hot fine looking Polish and Hungarian chiks in London and they are all complete friendly. However, brasileras in bed resurrect the pornstar in us.

So in the first good news I've seen in a while, Termas Monte Carlo actually is in the middle of a remodel. They are remodeling all the rooms on the 4th floor (the one with the girls' changing room and the medical examiner's room) , and they also are I believe replacing the massage room (on the 2nd floor with the showers) with a giant suite. Some of the rooms are already done. Basically they are putting rooms that are around 1. 5x-2x as large as the small standard room, completely new. New beds, new walls, and each will have a new bathroom. At a minimum a sink and toilet, and a bunch with showers. See pics attached of one that is already done. It was actually really nice. And while wear and tear will take their toll (I'm expecting quickly, given the quality or lack thereof of most Brasilian reformas) , seeing it right now it was in great shape. Apparently it may actually extend to remodeling the male bathroom on the 2nd floor, though I was told that would be last if it happens. Anyway, take a look in the pics attached and tell me that is not the cleanest, most gleaming white toilet you have ever seen in a Terma.

Of course this all means the city will likely figure out how to close MC down LOL. Anyway, good to see them putting the higher prices to work. And yeah it really is something like 900+ loyalty points now for a free entrada. It does seem that Ivan, the manager guy who greets the tourists, is willing to cut people deals where their entrada goes to consumption etc so don't hesitate to ask him when you are going in. Anything to get punters in the door, it seems...

IMO they will shut-at least untill August-the zona sul and centro termas to clean up Rio and to clean up their image to the world in preparation for upcoming events which I believe Brazil is not ready for and will hopefully expose it as corrupt and backwards politically. Shame someone else couldn't clean up Rio by getting rid of the corrupt mayor, police, military and politicians that have screwed up the city's finances and cleanliness for decades by pocketing public money. Who gives a damn if 20 Termas are open-if anything it centralizes what no one can stop anyway. More tourists=more p4p=more GDPS.

It will be a different Rio for sure for myself but I think the Termas will resurface in less affluent, touristy areas and the privees will as well.

Hunger for sex won't go away and historically GDPs flock to events like World Cup and Olympics so I think the street scene and the Love Motels will see a boom-its analagous to pacification of favelas. Now the bandidos novos run arrestaos because they can't sell their weed / coke openly in Rochinda, Cidade De Deus etc no more. Decentralization.

Nice pictures Eric, I hope ALL the money they are investing in Monte Carlo won't go to waste because I been hearing the city have plans to shut down Monte Carlo in about 3-4 weeks, I HOPE it isn't true because when I go there I stay VERY close to MC and can walk there in 8-10mins at a slow pace ALSO can you or someone find out if Solarium is still open I heard it is closed. I REALLY wish Rio NEVER got the World Cup or the games, because once the Termas shut down I may still go there just to chill and shop and eat some of the food I have came to love over the decades BUT as far as finding some fine ass girls that have GREAT asses that love to have them pounded ANAL there is no place on the planet you can find that of course you can find places like DR, Panama, Costa Rica Thailand that are cheaper and have cute girls BUT none of them can match the woman from Brazil when it comes to taking it ANAL and loving it and not that worry or afraid of the size of your dick being to big like the other places I been to.

By the way, my 1hr room session and some drinks for my girl set me back around R$640 from what I remember. That's without free entrada or consumption.
