My Brazilian friends actually were making positive comments about the government which is something that never happens. Tunnels to Copa from both sides were closed to all but foot traffic. Buses were lined up after the show to take people to the outlying areas.

Give the Brasileiros and their gringo friends putarias, casas, termas, beer, and fireworks, so they'll be happy and us government people can continue our corrupt ways. Then with all the profits from the World Cup and Summer Olypmic, the government will open a brand new and shiny Club Help and Mei Pataca. Say amen!

Happy New years! No venues open in Rio this evening?

I'm a Newbie on the board. Hello gents this is not my first trip to Rio but it is my first time on New Years day. So far none of the girls I know have responded so I'm just wondering if there is anything going on this evening? Any termas, bars etc later tonight?

As for swimming, Copacabana is the worst, most of the brasileiros can't swim, cause of the waves constantly coming, most of them just stay in front of them and cool up. If you want to swim go to Miami Beach, my personal favorite.

If you have a lot of money to spend than go to Rio, if you don't, than it's going to be difficult.

Did I tell you where to go? I can go where I want to go. If you like to go to Rio and pay for a 1 shot $200, go head who cares, for me is just not worth it.

Several Copacabana establishments have already closed probably as part of a pre-World Cup, pre-Olympics 'clean-up'. But don't be swayed by bullshit numbers tossed about by posters like JuveStadium & Salbaggio (probably the same guy) , these are the actual prices that you can expect to pay in Rio as detailed in Bubba Boy's guide. Currrent Exchange Rate on the street should be about 2R to the dollar.

Zona Sul Termas = Monte Carlo (MC) = 400R for one 40min session with 1 girl (paying full entrance fee, room fee & no drinks)

Solarium (not in Copacabana) = 425R for one 40min session with 1 girl (paying full entrance fee, room fee & no drinks)

Centro Termas = 4x4 and Cancun = 290R for one 60min session with 1 girl.

    Termas 65 = 320R for one 40min session with 1 girl.

    T502 = 180R for 40min session.

Prives (private apartments, daytime action until 7:30pm) = 80-120R for 60mins.

With the termas, there are ways to get discounts which are well documented in Bubba Boy's guide. So strictly based on numbers, you can get some action in Rio from $40 all the way up to $213 YMMV (your mileage may vary) based on your expectations. It's completely up to you whether you end up with "some silicone blonde hoe" or not.
Nice try about pricing 425R even more what I wrote R400-$200 (LOL). I'm never been to Kenya, and I'm Still in Rio. Some other things what I don't like about a brasilian hoes, they have 2 totally different kind of sex."Sex for gringos"and "Sex for brasileiros". Sex for gringos is of course much more expensive and less good, you have to buy them, drinks, food or whatever, suck with a condom, extra charge for anal sex (1 min) , if they agree to do, and complaining about everything all the time (your room, your skin, t-shirt, light, face, I got a girl who was complaining about my nose.) Just to distract you, and steal so much of your time as possible. Sex for brasileiros is much cheaper, no condom by suck, no extra anal charge, and no complains about anything, they would fuck with them anywhere, street, beach, toilets. I got a only one woman, who was treating me the same way as brasileiros, until she found out that I was gringo, immediately she wanted more money, and of course I stopped to go to her (She was older over 30, ugly ass hell, but with a very sexy body) , like most of the brasileiras"ugly face nice ass". They called them self piranhas, and that's the real name for them.

How wil Olympics affect Rio mongers

When the big money pours in will they kill monger venues. This may be the excuse to kill the sex trade. Rio has an international repetatiion.

This forum has way too many pretenders, cheapskates & dirt bags. Sometimes I wonder how many of the posters on ISG actually travel the world and *monger (maybe 10%). I'd bet the majority of folks that post on ISG haven't ever left their home country.

GUYS GUYS GUYS please convince me and help me broaden my horizons!

I'll be in Orlando until Monday and then I plan to get on a plane to one of the following places. Bogota, Medellin or Rio. In Bogota and Medellin I have non pro contacts under 22 and can pretty much have the cookie under the sheets within a few hours of landing.

I really want to go to Brazil but all this talk about prices and packed beaches and hassles are not very motivating. Plus I freaken looked for a hotel and apartment for a few hours yesterday and got a headache from it. Can't someone just tell me where a good one bedroom is that is around 100 bucks and allow me to play some tennis, learn a new country and hangout with some Brazilians. Should I just hop on a plane and worry about sleeping when I get there? Listen I promise I am a normal everyday guy and I'm not cheap and will represent americans just fine in Rio!

Maybe I should wait until high season is over and just do Colombia. Again. 15th time!

Copa and inpanema is probably going to be the most expensive if you planing on renting or staying in a hotel. Good luck! And safe travel!
I'm going to post again and hopefully someone will answer with some input.

Of course they charge you extra money if you want to f. In the ass (some guy wrote, they don't charge, but that's not true) and after 1 min, you have to pull it out, and f. It in the pussy, very bad anal, if you can call it so, they're worse than girls in Pattaya. If you fuck a little longer they never stop asking you"meu querido vc goso"so much about a long time fucks, and in DR is after 45 minutes, like someone wrote, in Rio is after 5 minutes. Only if you have a money to blow you can go to Rio and fuck some silicone blonde hoe once for 400-500 reais ($200-250) , that's it. The golden times from Rio are gone, and would never comeback again, but illusion will be always there by the guy who went there 10-15 years ago.

That day the helicopter was very active. On the beach where I was sitting the helicopter rescued 5 people with the net. The lifeguards om the beach picked up at least a dozen people. It looks quite risky when the chopper flyes so low, just over the tips of the waves.

It seems like many of the people that gets saved by the lifeguards are suburbanos. They go to the beach. Sits down and eats their faroffa, drinks too many beer and pinga. Then they goes for a dip, forgetting that they can't swim.

Should be no problem to get a points ticket

My hard pounding days are in my rear view. I enjoy having 20 somethings in my bed and if she is 6 or 10 is not really that important to me. I also have internet chica who provide me with good service as well. I am working with a small budget that the DR facilitates. I can do several trips a year which makes me very pleased. I love the DR the food, music and women. I salsa and bachata very well which makes my time there big fun. My Spanish is good as well. With prices being what they are I will probably never go. It is like I am happy with my toyota although I think BMWs are nice. At the end of the day they both get you where you need to go. I have to say I am curious about that magic Rio pussy.
Once again, if you are happy with what you are getting then stay with it. I really don't see the point in trying to CONVINCE you but if you are hung up on the budget of which the most expensive is the airfare then just take the airfare out of the equation and get a ticket using frequent flyer rewards. You will still pay more in Rio but the difference in pricing will be a lot closer.
