If you want to access Gpguia from outside of Brasil you will need to use a Brasil Proxy server. Xroxy. Com has a list of open Brasilian proxy servers from which to choose:

Mangera & other members who had problems accessing GPGuia from the US. I am in Sao Paulo right now and can confirm that GPGuia is up & running. However you still need to log in using your registered GPGuia username in order to browse the posts in the Massagems & Prives sections. The acompanhantes section however is wide open and do not require you to log in! I normally use GPGuia for Sao Paulo only but might try to get intel on Rio as well this trip.

Back from a Centro trip. Hit 502 to start. Walked over to "the dark side" (the other side of Presidente Vargas) and went to MV30. Never done the deed at MV30 so can't comment on room quality. Check Bubba's guide for more info. Worth another visit.

Back in Bundaland (my name for Rio) for 9 days. Although I like the term Rio de Dinheiro LOL!

First port of call after arriving was MV30 last night. This termas has become one of my regular haunts as I have found quite a few nice girls and they seem (to me at least) on the whole to be less pushy and more friendly than 4x4 (my other centro haunt). Actually MV30 has a lot more girls than it did when I first stating going 2 years ago. More girls and less space! The quiet bar (which had some nice secluded and dark corners to "warm up" before "showtime") was taken out last year. I had assumed that they had put in more rooms but apparently it is now offices!

There are a range of girls / body types from matchstick thin to "you must be joking", tall / slim, bundas etc etc.

Maybe I go at the wrong time or wrong day but either the place is dead or there never seems to be anything worth doing there.
