it seems vila mimosa is, and has always been, respected by goverment. so much that every time the close it down, they provide a new place for it. this is planned when they close down vm next time, due to the projected bullet train rio sao paulo.

brazil continues to be great with the same scene and excellent selection. the only exception is copacabana.

unfortunately brazil has become more expensive. not a big problem if you skip the expensive termas etc.

Another god spot for a New Help would be the Clube Israelita Brasileiro on R Rabata Ribeiro (tv R Santa Clara). The club sometimes holds big forró-parties. I've been there once and the building would be very suitable. Of course the prefeitura would propably do everything possible to avoid a New Help.

Another option for a New Help could be the disco Mariuzinn on Av NS Cop 435. Mariuzinn is popular among locals, they would propably not appreciate the place turning into a puteiro. However if enough gringos goes there, the GPs would follow like flies on shit. Just speculating.

This operation by the police had the same name. They are taking advantage of elevated public attention to make their move. the sex trade in rocinha was exposed about three weeks ago. a veado offering minors to gringos. some of the minors were ex-gf's of traficantes that fled rocinha when upp moved in.

it's funny this should come about now. didn't the news do a segment on drugs and prostitution at balcony some time before? in this instance i would have to put questions marks all around the word victim. did any balcony mongers lure this girl from her comfy couch at home to go down to balcony and entice her to sell herself? more than likely she went of her own free will with friends or whatever in hopes of finding foreigners to cash in on. seized underwear? lol. what kind of bullshit is that. if that's the case then everybody in the world is going to jail.
