It is located in Avenida Americas on the 13 thousand block. It has parking and valet. It is only open Monday through Friday. Open from 6 pm to 2 am. Tuesday's are slow, but in my case, it was perfect. Entrance was 20R and it includes a drink. You pay when you exit. The boate is pretty big and has a an upstairs lounge as well. Live DJ plays great music, but it is quite loud. About 15 garotas in the place, and it was quite slow with about 5 cutomers. According to the girls, wed, thurs, and Friday there is significantly more movement. I actually prefer less movement and crowds.
This place is expensive, about 190r for 30 minutes. 240r for 40minutes, and 300R for 1 hr. I t did not find the girls to be amzing looking, but there were two that were 8 out of 10. In my opinion, the gals here don't come close to quality of Monte carlo. 4 x 4, etc. However, if you are far as shit from all the action in Centro or other Zona Sul termas, this place will have to do.
I lucked out because I did have quite a few laughs with one of the two 8's I had referred to earlier. She was a tall blonde who had an awsome body. She works out and you can tell. Quite good enough chemistry that I decided to roll the dice with her. Resluts were excellent in the cabina. Everything was on the menu, and she aimed to please. Normally, I would not dish out 300r, but in this case, no regrets. BTW, the cabinas were very clean and nice looking.
I do not think I would return anytime soon, but its an option if you are out here in Recreio away from the action. Paris Cafe is another option in Recreio, but have not been there yet. Hope this report helps.

Posts: 2345Yes, we could have a permalink to the anthropos' database in the Bubba guide and Sperto List. Rofl.
I enjoyed reading the article; and the author looks pretty cute! . Wonder why she didn't mention Vila Mimosa, as that rather sounds like the dreaded 'Red Light' area she keeps mentioning? Ok to give free publicity to the posh joints but not the coal face. Which also has a history of a strong women's rights group. Which hardly applies to the likes of Centaurus.

Posts: 144Thought this article was interesting.
This article was was posted September 7th. 2012 regarding the crackdown on prostitution in Rio. A lot we know already, but these two anthropologists, Thaddeus Blanchette and Ana Paula the Silva seem to be monitering and studying us mongers on forums such as this one and claim to have "279 different addresses comprising a sprawling map of sex in Rio"! Would be fun to compare notes with these two. It also provides some info I was not aware of such as "With two years to go till the World Cup kickoff, Blanchette and the Silva have already counted 24 sex establishment shut-downs"! Anyhow here it is. Hope it's OK to post this: http://*http://www.theatlanticcities.com/job...neration/3199/

Standing in front of MC on Sun night at 7 pm and it's closed! WTF, it's supposed to be open according to their website. Options left are balcony and starcris, but not sure if hotel allows either. So disappointing!

I am staying in Recreio for a couple of days this week. Anyone been to Paris cafe lately? Is it worth going? How does it compare to other Termas or Prives? If no one knows, then I guess I will check it out and report on it afterwards.

So, I've got a Brasileira living with me in my condo in the states now. Friday, Saturday NO sleep, techno funk 8 hours straight of dancing at house parties by the beach with her friends; I don't do the same stuff the Brazilians do to get that effect. So it's just swimming biking training. But that ruiva bunda in my bed makes up for it. Nicest, sweetest girl, but the whole brasilian crowd is crazy. Sleep and f*ck all night and day Saturday. Her friend danced for like 8 hours straight to some house music funk. Two recommendations for reading / watching:
http://www.tropa2.com.br/
She says this is a dead on accurate portrayal of the corruption, social classes, favela dynamics in Rio. Braziliians in my place watching this telling me its spot on on netflix.
The Economist magazine. Said a few years back sex is the second national sport of Brazil. The economic reporting about Brazil leads the dynamics you see in the streets by a few quarters. She's telling me Brazil is popping and the American dream is dead, but the Economist is saying that growth rates in Brazil are slowing. The magazine was ahead of the curve in 2009.
Talked to past mini relationship in RJ by VOIP; now she hates me (the opposite of love is not hate, its irrelevance.) ; she had been a top freelancer GDP on the Brazilian boards 2007 to 2010, and before that in quatro, now she's a professional hair dresser. I think that's like Class C money. But a move up, without the bipolar environment of the terma. She lived with her mother at an apartment like 3 kilometers from the Bangu jail in the first part of Tropa2 when she was trying to get her life worked out. I went out to that 'hood once by SuperVia to see her, but got right back on the train when I walked around the block.
Another past mini relationship was kind of a bunda management at Terma 65; she popped up on Riosexsite for a few weeks, to much commentary by the Brazilian boards (gpguia, hotforum, if sex is the 2nd national sport. Their sport pages).
I get emails from one of the girls at a prive that I loved doing from this year; she quotes the stuff I had her say when I was doing her and asks me to come back down. It looks to me from the Brazilian boards and the sites that there are still values to be had at a few of the prives. I think my "playbook" for my next RJ trip is to go straight to those prives, and find that "queen of all my dreams" ie. Girl who does what I want from her reviews and / or my experience, and go straight to a dupla. 6-hole session; and then repeat with that girl in a dupla with another one (so they see a good investment.) ; get her for pernoite at a nearby motel; and in the other nights check out Red Light Club and Mosaico from pernoite patrol base, motel Malaga. This thing with the ruiva from natal will end soon enough, probably when she doesn't need a place anymore, or I could make more brazilians with her; thing is, I tell her I went to Brazil 12 times, and she knows exactly what I was doing.
I'm looking forward to seeing Lapa again on Friday night, and Buzios on Sunday. But I need to get down to Curitiba next trip.
I want to see some more detailed reports from the best prives! The government / politicos may shut down or suppress some of the Zona Sul termas for appearance, but as long as Brasileiros are P4P Brasileiras, there will be a market, and we need to find the value trades.

So inflation in Brazil has been 8% on average the last 2 years. Guaranteed raises (per the union) have run at around 7-8% last 2 years for software engineers. It's probably closer to 15% in terms of real prices in the big cities like RJ and SP. That is, base inflation (national) plus prices continuing to surge in the high-demand areas (Zona Sul, etc.). This is because prices take a while to cool off even if the economy itself is slowing down (which it is). In fact, the software union tried to get a guaranteed raise this year of 7. 5% and the businesses rejected it as being too high. So it will probably be around 6. 5% instead.
This hit home when one of my amigas, who I hadn't seen in a few months, pro-actively called me to schedule a get-together. And subsquently asked for a raise in my house rate LOL. From R$200 to R$250. She flat out said she was broke, and I kind of believe her. R$220 / hr at 502 plus $20 entrada. So kind of in the same ballpark, I guess.
I need to get out and hit termas some more and refill the sales funnel LOL.
