A couple of years ago I was all set to hit a casa when I noticed two red spots on the head of my little friend ... general practitioner ... figured it was herpes ... prescribed a cream and some pills and off I went.

I had something in Pattaya which was a tingling sensation. And the herpes idea came up. A test was taken, but I immediately proceeded to buy myself valacyclovir, and took it as a post-exposure prophylaxis. It probably was nothing, but better full blast on it than be sorry afterwards, because I too will prefer syphilis over HSV, HPV, and gonorrhea, syphilis is easy to treat with good old penicillin, no resistance. Syphilis was the big deal before the penicillin era, with long term progressive paralysis, etc.

Once I had an anal penetration with an at risk provider, this was sort of by accident, and not much. But after a day of worrying, I got myself the tri-valent post exposure prophylaxis and took that for a month. I'm not going to let anything burn.

I will say that I might be "sensitive" but I have had several minor infections from BBBJ. In fact, my very first time in Brazil, I had Larissa from Agencia StarCris (oh man, how I miss the agencias in Rio!) and she sucked me off. Then soon thereafter I began having some symptoms I couldn't really pinpoint. This was giving me some problems when I was with my fatal girlfriend. Back home in America after a week or two I went to a Urologist and he found a prostatitis. I didn't connect the dots at first, but I doubt it was just coincidence. I had it several times after major BBBJ events (not the quick and lame ones, but the more involved ones.) Burning sensation, fever (up to a week, despite antibiotics), tenderness in the little dude and the base. Weeks passed and things weren't improving so he sent me to a lab with a laundry list of the usual suspects to check for. Results showed it was syphilis. Yikes! At that moment I felt like a death sentence had been handed to me. Turns out though that, if given a choice between catching herpes and syphilis, choose syphilis. The first is a virus and can't be cured, only managed; the second is a bacteria and can be eradicated. If you don't catch it early it can have very dire consequences, and you can always get it again, but it's not the end of your world when detected early on.

That whole experience taught me to not go running to a doctor, who may or may not be very competent, at the first sign of a possible STD. In Colombia, and no doubt elsewhere, one can just go to a lab and order the tests without a doctor's say so. All totaled it's less than a hundred bucks at the cheaper clinics. Then, once you know what you've got, you can go to a pharmacy to buy the treatment. Chances are you won't need to waste money and time with a doctor. Do what you want though.

That doctor, who certainly seemed nice, wasted my money prescribing for herpes and wasted weeks of tedious bandage and cream treatment. He should have sent me to a lab right away and then prescribed.

Two final things:

At the time I caught syphilis I'd likely been with nearly 500 different women since 2005 - the year I started Pay 2 Play hobbying. It took sixteen years for me to catch anything. And I LOVE BBBJs. So it seems to me that the risk of STD transmission is overstated. Or I was lucky. Who knows.

Lastly, if you too get dots on your friend, fear not. I probably mentioned this already somewhere. But I want to tell you an almost fool-proof and sure-fire way to attack any pathogen early on in ways they cannot resist. I would trust this method even against gonorrhea, which is, as we know, the worst that could happen in its form of multi-resistant super-bug.

Here is what you do: have drunk or drink a lot so you can pee a lot. But do buy yourself a bottle of povidone iodine, the brown solution. This is the real stuff that surgeons use for disinfection of anything on the patient before cutting or shoving anything big inside. You wash your dick around and then you actually squirt this stuff up your pipe. Do it early and if you sense any burning, do it often. Like, after every time you pee you wash your glans and you squirt this stuff in by holding up the little man and with the nozzle of the bottle down, you stick it into the mouth of the urethra and you squeeze. Make sure you hold your little man on the side, so as not to squeeze your urethra shut. This stuff should NOT burn. If it burns, it means you have something. This means you really need to do this treatment. If you do it on the same day (ideally as soon as you come back to your room after the deed was done) then you should never have to worry again.

This also works on viruses, but I would not test it on myself with HIV nor HPV nor HSV, because I do not want to take that risk. But I am confident that in the off chance there was any transmission by BBBJ, unlikely as it is, you would possibly reduce your risk of that catching on by 50%. My estimate. 50% isn't much, but it's something. And it factors my complete uncertainty, so it could actually be better. I know it works against viruses, I just don't know how ultimately effective it is.

I have to say that I am going to strongly disagree with the general wisdom of the forum on best clubs in Rio. We were not impressed with the most recommended clubs here, but rather found a gem that doesn't get much love here. Maybe we just got lucky. A caveat is that I love Brasileiras and the amazing Brasileira bunda, but prefer a slim waist vs a thick girl where possible. So this of course colors my thinking.

Yeah, pretty surprising Steve. I am glad you had a great time. I always felt that there were a few Solarium girls that could cut it in Scandallo. You know; sexy, friendly Tier 2 type girls, but I never saw a Tier 1 Scandallo type (model quality) girl in any RJ Terma. Never! I have done a few Barra VIP Tier 1 model quality girls, however, but I never tried my hand with SA. Meanwhile, you report great success with those girls. I will have to do some studying.
