woke up around but took another nap so i can fully sober up. it's amazing how professional school will teach you the genuine significance of time. got up at 3:55pm, took a speedy shower, grabbed two beers from refrigerator, went downstairs and caught a cab at 4:35 pm. he dropped me in front of 143 rua siquera campos at 4:40pm. i finished my two beers while walking around cheking the shops. i went upstairs at 4:58pm. i was surprised to check out that all the girls were new except 1, as i remember. the ratio was 4 chicks per 1 client.

kis cisco is right, i use the metro. the last train back to copa is 1130pm. i always get a round trip ticket. if i stay too late at a terma, then i spend money on a cab or the r2. 50 cheap vans back to copa. the metro or the taxi is the safest late at night. but i never had a problem in metro because i'm too close to sober and i walk fast. notice most brasileiros walk fast and keep their heads moving if walking alone. see the zona sul metro map attached. you can get off between uruguaiana and carioca stations and have a modest walk to 4 x 4 and other metro termas and casas. never take a bus or cab during rio's rush hour.

i'm familiar with metro system of rio. i have lived nearly 10 months straight in rio back in 2007. i can't forget hitting local no pro rio night clubs with local friends and ended up banging non pros quite a few times. however, according to my math, cab ride doesn't cost me much. a smirnoff or other imported beer in 4 x 4 is almost r$10-12. to each his own, but i regard my time valuable now more than ever. my point is that i'm not that guy anymore who will fritter over 2 hrs in the boate to make his selection on an exceptional garota. two imported beers in 4 x 4 cost me almost r$24. on the other hand, two imported beers from supermecado expense me no more than r$5 in total. also, metro during evening is so jam-packed, as well as detriment of me a total of an hour+ traveling time door to door.

my strategy is to take a quick shower in my apartment, grab 2 imported beers from refrigerator, catch a cab outside my building and get off in front of 4 x 4 entrance for a r$20 (cab fare) + r$5 (2 imported beers) which i drink in cab during my ride to centro instead of take a subdued train ride and paying r$24 to 4 x 4 for drinking two beers in the boate. when i do my math, i reason that i'm making the right decision in my case.

You need to not only get to 4x4 by 6:00pm you also need to pick a girl and do a session BEFORE 6:00pm you just can't just go in the door before 6:00pm it use to be do a session before 5:00pm I was there a few months ago for 3 weeks back then the rate of reals to dollar was 1. 82 which at that time I THOUGHT was good BUT now it is around 2. 00 reals to the dollar so you pick a good time to go there.

The traffic seem to always be insane downtown to me in Rio it's better to take the Metro train for 3. 20 reals (unless they went up) and walk to the Tier 1 termas like 4x4, 65, etc. Take a look at Bubba Boy guide it will tell you what stop to get off at etc. I walked around at night by myself going to 4x4 and 65 and then to Cancun at late times when I was there a few months ago without any problems I hated 502 the music gave me a headache and the people seem to be on the lower end I saw one chick there that looked ok BUT the prices were low compare to the other Termas.

I have scheduled Luomo for Sunday at 4:50pm, to save a R$90 or US$50 entrada fee, as well as getting an advantage of receiving a free entrada Mon to Fri, if I pay my bill on with Cash. By the way, I exchanged $800 yesterday at 1. 98 exchange rate from Cambio at Xavier de Silvera.

Using racist language. I didn't do this. I posted a translation, which has been explained by at least 3 members as not offensive in the original portugese. Delete my report. I asked to have my report deleted. The rules of the forum say I have that right.

I will try one more time to clarify this for you. In Portuguese, the word from which you quoted was "neguinho". In Portuguese this colloquialism is not an offensive word. It has no literal translation to English. When a computerized translation results in an offensive word it is your responsibility to edit or accept the translation. When you receive four or five comments that you are using an offensive word it should be obvious that you made the wrong decision. You were repeatedly advised that "neguinho" was not offensive in Portuguese but not one member supported your choice to use the N-word in English. The N-word word should never used in social communication. You should have learned this in high school as well as your military training. It is time that you learn from this experience and move on.

Thanks for the article, the more flights to Rio the better. I happen to like American airlines because they have a non-stop from JFK to Rio at 9:25 pm, good time for me. I just recently searched for a flight to Rio and noticed I can use my miles for an American flight to Rio business class. But unfortunately I am short a few miles but American allows you to put the flight on hold for 5 days, so I have already put it on hold twice, once it expires you put it on hold again and again unless someone else grabs hold before you do, they seem to have only 1 seat available on my date. I am waiting for my next credit card to come in and add more miles to my balance in order to purchase it, a couple of more weeks.
