i have always been amazed at the guys that can go to a country for the 1st time and get shit face drunk as soon as they touch down or even unpack. some don't even take a shower before they off to the nearest bar getting drunk. and to make it worst many of these guys are on trips alone.

well, for me i don't know how many different places or countries i been to in my life but i know i been to many when i worked for the airlines places like (cuba, aruba, netherlands) etc. etc. and i also i have gone to many places when i was in the navy places like (thailand, japan, pi, spain, france, colombia, panama, brazil) etc. etc. and when i got out of the navy i have gone to back to many places i have been to when i was in the navy and new places like germany, greece, rome, and just so to many other places to name.

with all that said i will knock on wood and say i also have never been robbed or have a con on ran on me. not even a three card molly lol lol i think since i seen so many drunken ass sailors and i had to bring them back on the ship after they got robbed or some even been busted in a head with a beer bottle the worst case i seen was when i was on shore patrol two sailors thought they were picking up some chicks but it turned out to be some chicks that had dicks and those tv's ended up [CodeWord125] these guys until they had to be flown off the ship because were they use to take a shit from they know had two ass hoes those he-she's had rip them another ass hoe. real talk!

after seeing some of the stuff i seen when i was on shore patrol of guys getting drunk i never could understand from that point on how could guys do it. maybe it was easy for me to get around and not be a easy prey because i for one i am 6'5 and have always travel alone, and i don't drink. i can't even finish drinking a 8oz. beer without feeling dizzy the thing is i am a big dude but since i don't drink any amount of booze will get me drunk so guess what? i don't drink. it is simple as that.

to me unless you have a buddy with you that don't drink and you have each other back don't do it, just wait until you get home and have a drink. since the real reason you are on these trips is to hunt for hookers anyway. not to get drunk.

Man I just had one of those great nights. A girl I know who used to work at Monte Carlo. And then moved to a few other T's, including ones I don't like. Called me up earlier in the week to say she'd stopped working and now she was free to see me whenever I wanted (read: "I'm broke, so I will come bang you!"). You have to realize I've been badgering her, now and again, to come over for like the last 6 months. Ah, economics, how I love thy invisible hand! Anyway, she's a ton of fun. She only showed up 20 mins late, a miracle by Rio standards. And the second she walked in and kissed me, I'm like,"It's on!"

We had a drinky and went up to hang out on my deck and catch up. Couldn't keep my hands off her. Down to the bed for a good solid 30-40 minutes of fun. Ela fez tudo! Great techniques, eye contact, clean fresh and delicious, I think she came like 4 times. Showered up, got her some more drinky-winky, hung out some more on the deck, returned for round II. Even better than round I. I busted out a little mini-massager (kindly donated by Churro Man) and she went NUTS. Again she came like 4x. Let her keep it as a parting gift. It's hard to look back and pick my best moment, but the standing doggie anal (one hand pulling her hair, the other giving her a little reach-around. And man she was completamente molhado) had to be close. Unreal.

Overall, she spent 4 hrs. Consumed 1 red bull, some old orange juice, and a healthy amount of vodka (but hey it was Orloff so who cares!). Walked off with R$200 and a minimassager. I'm spent!

So I just got the news that this chick above was complaining that "I fucked a lot, but paid very little." Shrug. I gave her the rate I typically give my "friends" from T's who come over. Occasionally girls get more (R$300) and occasionally less (from privates, could be R$100). The funny thing is she never mentioned money in any of our pre-appointment chats or texts, or brought it up when she was at my place. And she really did seem to be having a good time. Maybe my radar is way off and she was faking the whole thing. Dang. Still, you figure the mini-massager would have softened the blow a bit if she thought the "house rate" was too low. Or that she would have mentioned something on her way out. Bubba Boy says they don't like confrontation, but she could have said "normally I get R$300" or whatever.

The annoying thing is that she's been AWOL for the past 2 weeks to my calls / texts. You'd think she'd at least say "I'd like to see you again but I need X to make it worthwhile." Sad. It was a great night. Who knows, maybe as rent and Christmas shopping piles up in December she'll change her mind.

Aside from the horrific business model of the other Rio de Janeiro Termas that seem to go out of their way to price themselves out of the sensible price-range bracket, I find that I spend 90% of my Terma-splurging time at 4 X 4 and the rest, I just pay the entrance to go take a look around and use their facilities, like the saunas and steam-rooms.

I typically will go on a tour of the other Termas if I'm meeting other like-minded colleagues. In addition, the deals in Centro, Tijuca, Largo de Machado, Flamingo and all the other sections for Rio are really hard to pass up. There are always tremendous deals where you can get two or more GDP's to service you for less than the price of one at one of the top-tiered Termas.

Again, I like to get value for my hard earned reals. If I buy ass, I buy in bulk. Period. I find that I can have 2 GDP's or 3 for BR230 or LESS for an hour in a casa or private; and when I go to a Terma, I. E. 4 X 4, the minimum is BR220. You do the math. I would rather get together with 3 girls for one hour than with one for an hour. As far as the BR10 difference, that's totally negligeble.

So in a 5 days, time I can hook up 15 girls instead of 5. Don't get me wrong, I can and do splurge a lot when I go to the Termas, but sometimes, when you find a great team of nut-drainers in one of the great Casas, I tend to repeat sessions over and over again. They always get better the more you repeat with a group, by the way. I still will also go to the Termas afterwards and if I feel like it, proceed with a session. That's everyday while in the land of the fabulous bundas.

The best part of all is meeting them outside of work. It doesn't matter if they come from a casa or a Terma, a great performer, is a great performer, and will always be a great performer. My goal has always been to increase the amont of girls trust-worthy enough that I would let them come to my hotel or apartment. The search continues.

As an aside from all this "watch your drink" arguing, I tried to use a credit card at Luomo 2 weeks ago. Apparently, they don't let you charge all of the tab on your credit card anymore. I've always charged the whole bill on the card in previous trips. The receptionist lady told me the policy has changed to your needing to pay cash for the girl and the rest on the credit card. That's how Monte Carlo and Solarium have always operated as far as I know. Furthermore, for you to get the free entrada (enter between 3 and 5 pm) with a session, you have to pay for everything in cash. With Luomo entrada being R$90 now, it's a pretty stiff fee to go and just have drinks and not session. I went on Thursday and didn't session only due to what I thought was the lack of quality talent. At least 4x4 still allows you to pay the full tab on the credit card and their entrada is still R$50. Hell, one can argue that 4x4 may be the only sensible Terma in terms of how to price and run a business in all of Rio.

Can anyone confirm whether MC or Luomo accept credit cards for payment, and what about 4X4 and T65? On the Luomo website I see the small credit card logos listed on the homepage, so just wondering. Along the lines of being smart and protecting your drink, it would seem intelligent not to carry lots of cash with you to such places if its not necessary.

That's a pretty nasty thing to say about Bubba Boy, undoubtedly the most valuable poster on this forum. I have no problem believing that he has visited 50 countries and never had a mishap while mongering. I have to date been to 78 countries as well as numerous territories and dependencies, and I have had only one mishap with a GDP; I was pickpocketed on Av. Atlantica in Rio while negotiating with a GDP. She was so good that I never even noticed it until I emptied out my pockets later. I don't blame anyone but myself, and I learned a valuable lesson from it: never carry anything more than small amounts of cash in your pockets. Use a money belt or a pouch, something that is pickpocket-proof. I also don't drink at all when I am mongering, for two reasons. First, I want to keep my wits about me at all times. Secondly, too much alcohol can inhibit your performance, something that was noted in Act I of Shakespeare's Macbeth.

The only difference is that I like to be little tipsy while I'm on vacation dealing with pros and you like be sober and focused during the entire transaction of making a deal. I drink so I got lucky 49 of 50 times, unlike you. Shit happens. If I was a fool, I wouldn't be a straight A student scoring highest in one of my finance class. However, if I be partying mostly sober like you, I would've commit to memory the amount of change I have in my pockets. Firstly, I disbelieve if you have traveled 50 countries in the world. Secondly, if you did and you haven't been robbed for even $5 from any working girl in your entire life, you're my role model in this career. End of story

But tell me something: what kind of grades did you receive in English, especially in your composition classes? I ask because, based on the writing sample above, even a D minus would have been a gift. I retired in my late 20's, been traveling ever since, that is 20 years of hard traveling. Stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels, stayed in plenty of 1 star hotels. Probably have hit 50 countries I guess. Never been robbed for more than a say $5, never been drugged and you say I don't get it?

One good tip, if you are going to drink around Balcony chics, drink a bottle of beer. Never let that beer bottle from your hand. Never! If you say something like "I was drinking all night and I only let that glass out of my sight for 2 minutes when I went to take whiz and they drugged me", then I don't want to hear about it. You f*ked up, end of story, do not pass go, do not collect $200!
