The great Luomo I had been closed for awhile. Shame it hasn't opened back up. Part of me wants to open it myself. What do you think it would cost a month to open that place per month.

I am, however relieved to see that 4 x4 and Solarium are still in operation as is Mabs. Thank goodness some things never change! I am looking forward to re-visit some of my favorite remaining haunts early in March (I know, I know. Too late for Carnival) and will try my rusty hand at posting. I see that there is some action out in Barra da Tijuca so am looking forward to a little exploration!

Going back and researching some of my own early posts, I was disappointed to see that I could only get as far back as 2014. Does anyone know if Jackson has a mechanism for accessing posts older than 2014? AS I recall, my membership ISG goes back to about 2008. Would be nice to refresh my "aging memory" with some of my early accounts of Termas Adventures.

Finally, it's nice to see some familiar "Old Timer" names still on this forum and to know that you are still alive and kicking!

Welcome back bro! Yes, a lot about the landscape has changed over the last decade, for the worse in my opinion. That's why it would be a serious mistake to place your faith in old, outdated guides written like at least over a decade ago. By the way, did you know that there was a major fire that closed 4 X 4 for quite a long time? We were all afraid that one of the best puta palaces on the planet would never open again! Whew! I leave you with the advice that I give to anybody trying to get a handle on the scene. Go to the Reports of Distinction and read as many of those as you can. By doing that you will be able to refresh your knowledge on where we've been, where we're at today, and lots of thought about where mongerdom in Brazil is headed in the future. The RODs provide a much more time efficient (and entertaining) way to RTFF to build up your knowledge. If you're looking for something specific you can even do searches within the ROD thread itself and maybe you will find the answer. Again welcome back, and good luck with your journey!

Feira Sao Cristavao is awesome. It is a great place to go in conjunction with a VM / Mosaico trip. Nordestinas are among the hottest, and it is a great cultural introduction to zona norte. Also great product, including non pro pussy, for cheap.

Villa mimosa is right down the street and I did visit it several times throughout the week. That place is not probably ideal for most of the guys on this site.
