Do you really think any posts have violated Jackson's rules? You are allowed to disagree with other peoples post or what they say. As long as it is done in a relatively constructive way. It is only when it gets into gutter level name calling etc that Jackson will step in. Nothing that I have seen posted here in the last few days is even close to this.

After about 2 weeks of working like a dog 8. 30am. 9.30pm or later, I finally got out on Friday night by 9pm and went to MC.

It was actually pretty packed, mainly Brazilians. Only thing I could think of is (a) few tourists still (rebounded USD vs. R$ hasn't yet been felt) and (be) payday is 5th so they saw the next inflow of cash coming and felt "loose" before the weekend. Anyway, pricing remains the same as far as I could tell. Got my free entrada (I'm registered) and the 1 hr and 1 agua-com-gas cost R$375 which was translated on the bill as USD$220 (1. 7 fx I think, whereas bank rate was 1. 85).

I sat in the corner trying to acclimatize. Had to brush off some n00bs (new girls) who had come in the last 3 weeks when I'd been away. So they thought I was fresh tourist meat. Said Hi to a few favorites. Then Bebel (africa-mulata, big fizzy curly hair, huge natural titties) cornered me and began gyrating, kissing, teasing. Needless to say I rose to the occasion. We had a fun time in the room and I got the number, but it wasn't mind-blowing. I'm a sucker for familiarity I guess.

Then on Saturday I spent the evening with an ex-MC girl (she stopped working last week) for R$200 in my apt, and we hung out for dinner. Nice girl, pretty, fun, but seriously no education or worldview. She was scared to take the metro. I tried explaining what Guinness was to her, LOL. Actually she was a good sport and played along with me drinking weird beer all night, including the fantastic 10. 5% abv Ithaca imperial stout from Cervejeria Colorado in Sao Paulo. That blew her mind. Still, I need to find a girl who's a little more sharp (esperta?) and educated, I guess. It's getting harder and harder. I swear half the girls I meet at T's live out in Nova Iguazu or similar far-away places (1. 5-2hr commute). The fact that she's willing to come 1. 5hrs each way to see me for R$200 and a meal should say something about where she's living. Hell that was her commute every day working at MC and she just needed a break. Tough life for some of these girls.

Well, you are right, no need to enter into a pissing contest or a useless debate. Once again, to each its own. That said, the odes to the brasilian women is for me BS. Sure, there is admittedly some hot women in Brasil, but the road are not paved with them. The myth of a place swarming with bodicious beauties is jeopardized by the fact that obesity is a BIG problem in Brasil (even authorities agree that the country is experiencing an alarming epidemic of obesity, more than 23% of the population). Also, the fact that the average brasilian woman's height is 5'2" (1, 58cm, which is admittedly short) is for me a turn-off. I personally like my women tall and slender. Not short and fat.

Anyhow FYI, there was 260 distinct ethnic groups that composed the FSU (1/6 of earth) and its satellites. In term of beautiful mixes, Russia (or Uzbekistan for that matter, as we talked about Tashkent) can hold a candle to Brasil. But admittedly, no negras nor mulatas there (which anyway is not my thing).

As well, the nightlife: lapa has some of the best nightlife I have ever seen, and that was on a Tuesday night, after 3. 5 hours of BBFS with a riosexsite girl. Nightlife in all the parts of the city, like Leblon diners, is really muito bom.

Salvador nightlife with the parts of the city is really great too.

That is a very dogmatical statement. As usual, to each its own. There's many "pioneer" destinations that could be rated above Brasil in many respects (non-pro scoring, nightlife, women's beauty, culture, ect). If you give me the choice between Tashkent or Rio, I'd chose Tashkent at the drop of a hat.

Chris: You complain about the lack of nightlife in Rio, but did you try going to Lapa, Ipanema, Leblon, Barra etc. Yes, there is probably not a lot of nightclubs in Copacabana proper but walking from your beach side apartment on Atlantica to Balcony does not count as exploring. If you RTFF you will find out that some of the best FKKs are located in remote suburbs of the major city centers where there is nothing else (nightlife wise) around within MILES. Most reports that I have read involve staying in the FKK for 10/12 hours at a time to maximize the cost benefit of the adventure before get back on the road. Yes, I agree that you can probably find quality talent in these places but I can bet you that you can not wake up the next morning and go down to the beach and sunbathe. The Grass Is Always Greener on the Other Side so "Go EAST Young Man" and do report back on your adventures.
