Think you handled this just about right but maybe you should have held on to your winning hand a little longer. Women in general are pretty irrational about these things, and then when you add brazilian women and in particular brazilian gdps, well now you've entered the twilight zone, LOL! Your victory over her becomes a pointless one because she probably feels you humiliated her or manipulated her on purpose. Not to mention she now knows you have ways of spying / keeping tabs on her while she may not, yet, have that kind of leverage on you. That either freaked her out or pissed her off or both.

When you combine your status as foreigner / ex-pat / non-brazilian (not sure about your status but that's my guess) with the fact you met her in a p4p venue (thus making you a foreign puteiro, the "worst of the worst") she probably feels she doesn't have to give you much loyalty, respect, honesty. I wouldn't waste a lot of energy fighting these perceptions. It is what it is, just go with the flow and enjoy what you can with these chicas.

I have more of a libertine kind of philosophy so these kinds of issues are not such a big deal to me (loyalty and honesty from a part-time, full-time, or ex-hooker? I mean, come on, LOL!). Let them have their lies, let them even think they're getting the better part of the deal. I usually just tell these girls I believe in "liberdade e felicidade para voce e tambem para mim" and if they have a problem with that "buscar outro homem." So I used to believe (like you) in the need for more honesty but my motto now is more like "liberdade e privacidade." I have been around a ton of GDP's, surprisingly they don't all lie. Sure, they may bang other guys discretely etc, I bang other girls discretely so I don't have a huge problem with this. Mosaico is a terma, but only in name, sort of like 502. You leave your clothes on. It really only gets going around midnight, but supposedly it stays open until the sun comes up. Rumor has it that regular terma girls, who have not made their money target for the night, go there after hours for a little additional income. Where is Mosaico? Pretend you are going to MV and walk from where the bus or subway drops off past the biker bar. Just as you round the corner and turn into the street where VM is, there is on the right first a place where a lot of young people hang out, and then the next place has a black awning and a small patio, which is tiled in black and white squares. This is it.

We entered, got a plastic card with a number on it (to charge your drinks to your tab) , and we were told that the entrance was R20 and included 3 beers. The place has some of the rowdiness of VM, the funk music is deafeningly loud, and the lights are very dim. Not everybody's taste, I realize, but treasures can be had here. In the first hour we were there we saw 3 strip shows, and several other girls were grinding their bundas in the area around the stage. My eyes fell on a bleached blonde, Gabi, and I decided I had to give here a test drive. 40 minutes are R90, which is not bad. We actually had to wait another half hour before a room became available. By VM standards the rooms this place are sparkling clean. You have fresh sheets (stained, though) , a fairly large bed, and a real lock on the door. The hour-session rooms even have a shower. Gabi was not much to report on, but I just took one for the team.

Bottom line: Masoico is about like 502 was 5 years ago. Since it is open late, this can be a valuable option in your list of mongering targets.

Mosaico opened a few years ago. It was a gringo (german guy) that opened the place (I don't know if he still is the owner). A kind of upscale VM-casa. He stirred up quite some angry emotions in Vila Mimosa when he opened his place. The reasons were several; he was a gringo, he opened the casa without permission from the Associação da Vila Mimosa, the casa was more "sofisticated" than the other VM-casas and he charged higher prices than other casas in VM. I boycotted the place as I considered it just as a overcharging VM-casa.

I had several girls in VM that used to work at Mosaico. They all left and went back to the ordinary VM-casas because of the lack of customers at Mosaico.

After reading Euro's report I might give Mosaico a try.

I greatly enjoyed reading many of the valuable stories of the esteemed members of this forum. I'm heading to Rio (and Sao Paulo) soon. Sadly, I speak zero Porto. I wonder, if any of you will consider addressing my few simple questions below. Your wisdom will be breatly appreciated:

1. I always prefer young, slim, model-looking skinny girls. Big bundas and the ladies that are over 25 whyear old are just not for me. I also prefer light-skinned girls on most occasions. While I understand that gems can be found almost everywhere, I don't have too much time to look. So, I wonder which 5 termas and / or clinica / massage provides the biggers and surerest selection of young slim stunners with zero flabbiness on their legs, butt, belly, etc?

2. What are the best times of the day to visit the places you suggest? What type of rooms are advisable to use there with the girl?

3. Any other places, aside the ones mentioned above that stunners can be found (English speaking non-pros, perhaps).

If you do not speak Portuguese, then perhaps you should restrict yourself to the termas. You will on average have much better luck finding some English-speaking girls in the Copa termas. Assuming that price does not matter, then I would suggest (in that order) : Centaurus, Monte Carlo, L'uomo (all in Zona Sul) .4x4, and finally Cancun (both in Centro). Most of them are good to visit from around 4 pm and stay open until midnight or 1 am. They can get very busy already starting at 5 or 6 pm. (BTW, the free early entrance deal at L'uomo does no longer exist! We asked.) The centro termas are closed on the weekend, and on Sunday your only option is L'uomo. Rooms: ummm, if price is no consideration, then always go for the super suite. I would, however, recommend against this. After all, you are not there to admire the furniture. Generally. 1 hour sessions are preferable to 40 minute sessions, and what you select in terms of length will determine what room you get. The room is the last thing you need to worry about.

FWIW, I've noticed that many girls tend to arrive at Club Florida around 1 am. These girls are apparently coming there from the Centro termas. They normally look better than the Club Florida regular girls that you'll find earlier in the night.

Yes, VM. Sorry. Below I also posted a map with the exact location of this place.

Safety: I feel completely safe in that area at 1 am, safer than at the beach in Copacabana. There are tons of people on the street there at that time, and also at 3 am. Many teenagers, who just want to party, too. The biker bar is also just a place where regular people hang out. Nothing scary. Even inside VM I do not sense any danger. There is even some level of police presence. Of course one has to follow certain precautions to make oneself not an easy target, as almost anywhere. I have walked to VM from the bus stop about three times, and we have taken the car there another three times. Never an incident.

More details on Mosaico: There is a bouncer sitting on a bar stool outside and he hands you either a plastic card (Friday) or a score sheet (Saturday) to keep tabs of your tab. You enter through the glass door under the awning, and to your right is the (only) bar. It is also the only fairly well lit location in the whole joint. So if you want to get a look at your girl before committing, I suggest you take her to the bar and buy her a drink. Also on the right and next to the bar is a wall with a long vinyl-covered beach with three small tables; good for hanging out at the least possible sound level. To your left as you enter you see a flight of stair. The cabinas are up there. Under the stairs you cross into the main boite. Bring ear plugs! The boite is about 10 m by 10 m in size and has a stripper stage with pole on the far side. I think there are two wide steps that lead from the foyer into the boite, and lost of people seem to always stand right there. The boite has seat all along the wall, except for the right corner, where the DJ booth is. The lights consist of a green laser hitting a mirror ball and a few black-lights. In other words, it is very dark in the boite. If you do not go left into the boite, but head straight on from the foyer, you pass a both with bullet-proof glass, where you settle your tab in the end, and where you pay for the girl and room, and finally the bathroom.

I did too little exploring upstairs to know how many room they have. My 40-minute room had a wide bed (not like L'uomo!) with real sheets, which get changed between sessions. Unfortunately, no dimmer. So we had the choice of either humping in total pitch-black darkness, or having the proceedings illuminated by a single while 60W bulb. However, we passed also by a nicer room with a shower, which is used for the 60 minute sessions. My guess is that they have somewhere between 5 and 10 rooms avaiable.

On Friday there were at least 15 girls there; three or four of them were quite doable for me, and perhaps I should not have jumped so quickly on Gabi. Keep in mind that is very dark in the boite; so I did not even get a good look at half of the girls. Also, the rooms were in short supply on Friday night, and Gaby and I had to wait for about 30 minutes. She insisted to grind her bunda into me during that time right under one of the ceiling mounted loudspeakers. I probably got some hearing loss as a result.

1. You will see a lot of big bundas, regardless. I'd suggest 4x4 for sheer quantity: some you like mixed in with a lot of big asses you don't. Or L'Uomo in Copacabana. Or try the websites of some of the privates (per Sperto's list) to see if any bodytypes catch your eye.

2. Shrug I'd get to 4x4 before 5pm for the free entrada if you have time. Or privates at 11am. Or higher end T's any time after 7 (or before 7 to catch the free entrada at L'Uomo I think).

3. Stunners is a matter of taste. On a short-trip you won't find English speaking non-pros lmao. Though I suppose you could throw yourself into a Friday night in Lapa and talk up strangers. Without speaking Portuguese you are really limiting your options. The girls in Zona Sul T's will have the most chance of speaking English, you may find a few in Centro.
