Sorry, you say "MV" and then "VM." Is Mosaico (which is actually also the name of Globo's internet fund, fun times) near MV (30) or are you saying it is near Villa Mimosa (VM)? And if it's the latter, you really felt OK heading out there at 1 in the morning? I am just going to be really surprised if there is hot Terma talent hanging out "after hours" at this type of place. Most of the Terma girls I know head home at 12 or 1 for their 1-2 hr trip back to Nova Iguazu or wherever.

Yes, VM. Sorry. Below I also posted a map with the exact location of this place.

Safety: I feel completely safe in that area at 1 am, safer than at the beach in Copacabana. There are tons of people on the street there at that time, and also at 3 am. Many teenagers, who just want to party, too. The biker bar is also just a place where regular people hang out. Nothing scary. Even inside VM I do not sense any danger. There is even some level of police presence. Of course one has to follow certain precautions to make oneself not an easy target, as almost anywhere. I have walked to VM from the bus stop about three times, and we have taken the car there another three times. Never an incident.

More details on Mosaico: There is a bouncer sitting on a bar stool outside and he hands you either a plastic card (Friday) or a score sheet (Saturday) to keep tabs of your tab. You enter through the glass door under the awning, and to your right is the (only) bar. It is also the only fairly well lit location in the whole joint. So if you want to get a look at your girl before committing, I suggest you take her to the bar and buy her a drink. Also on the right and next to the bar is a wall with a long vinyl-covered beach with three small tables; good for hanging out at the least possible sound level. To your left as you enter you see a flight of stair. The cabinas are up there. Under the stairs you cross into the main boite. Bring ear plugs! The boite is about 10 m by 10 m in size and has a stripper stage with pole on the far side. I think there are two wide steps that lead from the foyer into the boite, and lost of people seem to always stand right there. The boite has seat all along the wall, except for the right corner, where the DJ booth is. The lights consist of a green laser hitting a mirror ball and a few black-lights. In other words, it is very dark in the boite. If you do not go left into the boite, but head straight on from the foyer, you pass a both with bullet-proof glass, where you settle your tab in the end, and where you pay for the girl and room, and finally the bathroom.

I did too little exploring upstairs to know how many room they have. My 40-minute room had a wide bed (not like L'uomo!) with real sheets, which get changed between sessions. Unfortunately, no dimmer. So we had the choice of either humping in total pitch-black darkness, or having the proceedings illuminated by a single while 60W bulb. However, we passed also by a nicer room with a shower, which is used for the 60 minute sessions. My guess is that they have somewhere between 5 and 10 rooms avaiable.

On Friday there were at least 15 girls there; three or four of them were quite doable for me, and perhaps I should not have jumped so quickly on Gabi. Keep in mind that is very dark in the boite; so I did not even get a good look at half of the girls. 1. You will see a lot of big bundas, regardless. I'd suggest 4x4 for sheer quantity: some you like mixed in with a lot of big asses you don't. Or L'Uomo in Copacabana. Or try the websites of some of the privates (per Sperto's list) to see if any bodytypes catch your eye.

2. Shrug I'd get to 4x4 before 5pm for the free entrada if you have time. Or privates at 11am. Or higher end T's any time after 7 (or before 7 to catch the free entrada at L'Uomo I think).

3. Stunners is a matter of taste. On a short-trip you won't find English speaking non-pros lmao. Though I suppose you could throw yourself into a Friday night in Lapa and talk up strangers. Without speaking Portuguese you are really limiting your options. The girls in Zona Sul T's will have the most chance of speaking English, you may find a few in Centro.

Think you handled this just about right but maybe you should have held on to your winning hand a little longer. On Saturday the centro places are closed; so our ground zero shifts to Tijuca on that day. After some souvenir shopping, we were on our way by 3:30 in the afternoon. Tijuca is actually a beautiful middle-class part of Rio with nice little suco bars and corner bakeries. It is also near Maracana. We first hit Tigresas, then Anne Massagem, and finally Massagem Tijuca. We took the car, but one can do at least the first two stops very safely by using the Metro and getting off at the Saens Pena station. Exit the metro and take Rua General Roca. At that corner is Galeta Formula II, where you can grab a quick pastrie and a suco. They press their sugar cane juice freshly. Highly recommended! About 500 m of hoofing up Rua General Roca gets you first to number 340 on the left side of the street (Tigresas) , and just a bit further up to number 263 (Anne) on the right side. Each of these places set you back 60R for 40 minutes and 80 or 90 for the hour. No entrance fee, no drinks to buy. Very economic!

Finding the entrance is not for the faint-hearted, because you have to get inside a car service station / parking garage and walk up a small set of stairs to get to number 14 on the first floor. My wingman swears by their quality, but I am not able to say either way. Then we hit Monte Carlo. We entered at 9, had a great time, and left at 1:30 am. I did not session, but the entrance (80R) and drinks still set me back R150. Expensive! Earlier in the day I had two 40-minutes session and a great dinner, all for less than what I left at Monte Carlo. Girl lineup was excellent, though, I have to admit. And there was a great party atmosphere. Unfortunately, by the time we made up our mind to take a girl to the room, the pickings were really slim. Note to self: get started locking up a girl at 10 or so. Next time.

We then made one more run to Masaico. Tonight the entrance was only R10 and included one beer. But the atmosphere was not as great as the night before. i had begun to feel sick the evening before, and when i woke up on sunday i felt really bad. i went for lunch at cervantes (in copa, near the tunnel to rio sul shopping) , had my customary filet mignon sandwich with cheese and pineapple. temporarily this made me feel better, and i began heading for terma l'uomo. before i got there, though, i started to feel really week and dizzy. clearly i had a fever and the early stages of a bronchitis. (happens to many of us while our immune system has to adjust to the local mix of bacteria and viruses.) so i did the only reasonable thing that one can do in this situation: i went to a drogeria, got myself 800 mg of ibuprofen for heavy-duty medication and soldered on bravely. at 4 pm i took the familiar escalator up to l'uomo. on that escalator i also ran into my new best friend, a gentlemen who i had met the evening before at mc. i had told him about our board, and he decided to join. i forgot what handle he told me he was creating; so let's just call him k, and we were each other's wingman for the day. he is a great guy, and having a male buddy at a terma adds greatly to the experience. from the stories he shared with me, he will be a great addition to the board.

l'uomo has been criticized a lot recently, but today it was like the l'uomo of old. lots ( 25) of good looking girls, who were not bored at all, because there were a lot of guys (15-20) around. perfect ratio, and the place was alive. after a nice hot shower, and with my medication kicking in, i felt great with the familiar tingle of anticipation. k and i made our choices pretty quickly, and we started to settle in into the familiar kissing, groping, drinking routine. his choice was elli, a really fun girl, who is a slight bit heavier than average. she has a great smile and is fun to be around. i might give her a spin next time. for tonight i had selected agatha, and she was perfect. a little mulatta spinner with flawless skin and teeth, who likes to dance samba and is just a great person to be around. at their best, the top terma girls can make you feel like they are the best girlfriend you could possibly have. serviço completo! agatha rose to that rank. agata's friend [CodeWord901] hung out with us off and on. [CodeWord901] looks great, her body is more toned than last year. (she remembered our session.) there was also the remarkably pretty blonde little spinner angel, who hung out with us. i would also do her in a heartbeat, too. her english is excellent. her day job is owning a hair salon, where some of the other girls get their hair done. and then she moonlights at l'uomo. i love this city!

i have had several really good and even excellent sessions on this trip, but the one with agatha beat all of them by a wide margin. it's the kind of session that makes your heart ache when you have to leave. it was a good thing that i had only 4 hours at l'uomo before i had to catch a flight. now i have 4 days to cool off before i return to rio. otherwise it might have gotten a lot more serious. prives are much better for just sex, and 4x4 is the best terma for it rowdy atmosphere and strip shows. but sometime i like to get a little more out of my encounters and get so close to the flame that it starts to burn a bit. then l'uomo is still my number 1 choice.

I don't like money belts etc. I use a small simple leather pouch with a zip. Big enough for money, condoms and a small pen (for taking phone numbers). I attach a small string to the pouch and tie it to my underwear and put in down in my underwear. Nobody can see I'm wearing it. I never had any problems at all, not even in the carnivals in Salvador. As it's tied to my underwear it's very hard to loose it.

When I need to use the pouch I don't have to stick my hand down in the underwear, I just grab the string and pull it up.

P. S It works with underwear like briefs and not with loose boxer-shorts.

The additional benefit is that this pouch can really make you look "hung". I like it!
