Was at Luomo's this past week, walked in early, did not have to pay entrance. Was there for an hour and a half, had couple of drinks, not impressed at all by the talent. So I took a hike. Pains me to point this out, because Luomo's was the first termas I ever entered. But it is was it is!

I have not been to Solarium because of reports in this forum as well as a couple of friends that went to Solarium a couple of weeks ago. Bottom line. Weak line up.

4 x 4. Was there a couple of weeks ago, wonderful as always. I was there again this past Friday, and I thought there was less talent. But doable. Then raid goes down, and screws up my evenning.

Monte Carlo. What can I say. I don't frquent this place often. In fact, I haven't been there in about 2 or 3 years now. I was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of garota's to choose from. Many of them using bomba. I didn't end up choosing any of the hotest girls, rather one that I had really good chemistry with. This mulata went all out in the suite. 1hr in the suite. 4 drinks, plus entrance + 492R Wow! I rarely do this, but I was there for 4 hours of drinking, grabbing ass, making out, and lots of joking around with a couple of different gals before taking the mulata in the cabina for a porn experience. Thats probably the last Termas I will go to for a while until I hook with a couple of brasilian friends that want to celebrate a birthday party at 4 x 4.

Overall, Monte Carlo right now has the edge on good looking babes, but I think its do more to the fact that the other termas right now have a week staff which makes the MC staff look that much better. Good crew, but the prices are just out of hand. If you can, do what I did, get the girls number and meet her outside the club if you can. If luck is on your side, you might even get a freebie like I did today. It was her day of from Monte Carlo.

Thought I would point out that there are a couple of different characters (clients) that go to Monte Carlo almost on a daily basis who I are in a world of there own. One guy wears a cowboy hat and half street clothes and the robe, he dances with the same girls every night, then goes off to a corner and picks the same girl (everytime) to either make out in the corner, or take her to a cabina. Its all good, but the guy has this arrogance as though he is Hugh hefner (give me a break ).

Then there is another guy, who thinks that the boate is the location for tryouts for dancing with the stars. According to what a couple of different girls told me, this guys comes in everyday as well, and dances non stop, including by himself in the middle of the club. Thats all good, however, for Godsake, I think that a 50 yr old man shouldn't be dancing to musica electronica and attempting to do all of these silly rave dance moves (keep in mind, he is wearing a robe) while hogging up the entire dance floor doing all of these wild moves. What a baffoon! Funny part is. He also thinks he is a bad ass! GOOD NEWS. I am happy and proud to report that both of these starving for attention idiots are not, I repeat, are not gringo's! They are both brasilians! Usually, its tourists that act silly, and give the rest of us a bad name or reputation.

What can I say. It is what it is!

At 4 X 4 or are you refering to the old raids that happened a while back? If there was a recent raid, please, please, please let us all know when and what happened, especially if this is a new event. I'm headed there in about a month and I would find alternate fun if I need to avoid this place for not paying off their bureacracy. Just wondering what's going on.

Has anyone been out to Paris Cafe in Recreio recently?

Was talking to a galpal who works there now (after short stints at Cancun. 65, MC). She said that it has the same owner as 4x4, and she thinks it is likely to get raided now that 4x4 has been raided. She also said that it generally is open until 4am, even during the week. And she said that the clientele actually has a strong mix of gringos due to int'l companies near Barra. Including Microsoft. And that the majority of Brazilian clients are rich young guys from Barra (from rich families).

I have no idea if any of this is true, nor do I particularly want to drive 1hr+ to find out.

That said, I am feeling a bit Jaded about Rio right now. What seems to be missing is the mind-blowing sex with hot-as-all-fuck girls that seemed to be the norm in the past. Maybe it's just because the T's are low on talent now between economic opportunities and the off-season. I must admit I'm not doing incall from the higher priced agenices / solo escorts. I suppose in theory they could have better bodies / looks. Just never really seemed so.

Part 4 – Rio de Janeiro (See ISG Sao Paulo section for part 3 and the ISG Florianopolis section for part 2 and the ISG Porto Allegre section for part 1 of my Brazil Report)

I arrived in Rio de Janeiro in the morning. I did some internet surfing and the choices looked daunting. I found this website that offered afternoon terma tours:

I emailed through the website. I got a response back but they were booked that night. I booked a terma tour for the following day.

But that night, out of boredom, I got in contact with an escort service that my hotel clerk recommended. The girl who answered the phone at the agency spoke English. I asked her for a skinny brunette. When the "skinny brunette" girl arrived, it was a bad surprise. She was very large to say the least. I politely told her I wasn't feeling well and sent her on her way with taxi money. I decided to wait until the next day for my tour.

The next day I met my tour guide in front of my hotel; he was a local Brazilian named Antonio and he spoke good English. We started in the afternoon and taxied directly to the first terma. The selection at the terma was around 15 girls. I liked three of them. The first of the three girls, Marta, was a thin girl, around 5'3'. She quoted me a price of 120 BRZ for an hour. Antonio finalized the deal with the manger and I took Marta to a back room. She was passionate and friendly. The service was BBBJ with excellent tongue action, doggie, and then 69 followed by doggie again. I think the terma was called Florida Terma. It was on Praça Mauá street but I don't know the number or website.

Next we went to another terma. I don't remember the name of this one but I wish I did. It was in the Centro area. There were around 12 girls and there were two I liked. The one I chose was a petite blond with beautiful brown eyes. Once again Antonio translated for me and helped seal the deal. The price was only 100 BRZ for an hour. The room was adequate and the service was great. She did everything like a pro. BBBJ, and multiples positions with passionate sex.

For our last stop I asked the guide to take me to a place where I could sit and watch some shows because I was too tired for more action. So far this was my best night in Brazil. I had two good experiences for two good prices. My guide made the difference because he made up for my deficiency in Portuguese and local knowledge. My tour guide was an excellent example of the power of specialization and division of labor.

On night three, my last night, I decided to try some big name clubs. I tried two. First I went to Centaurus. This place is a joke. I was getting quoted 400 BRZ prices for girls who I would not do for free. I was there for around 30 minutes and couldn't stand it anymore and left.

Next I tried Solarium. http://www.solarium.com.br/. I was getting quoted 350 BRZ and above. The quality was better than Centarus but still too expensive. I left quickly and went back to my hotel.

That was enough for me.

I didn't care that I struck out on my last night. My second night had made it worthwhile. Better to have no experience and not pay for it, then have a bad experience and pay for it.

My conclusions regarding Brazil:

The language barrier proved to be a huge obstacle in all the Brazilian cities I visited. I was not prepared for this. Spanish won't get you by. Also, my lack of local knowledge often put me into the wrong clubs where prices were two to three times what the locals paid.

I would recommend that if you are quoted a price that is higher than what the locals pay, walk away. When price discrimination is practiced, it only ruins it for everyone else. You might want to avoid any name brand places and try to find the more unknown places. I think such a strategy can cut the price in half to a third.

In Brazil, I would avoid Florianopolis for paid sex.

Similarly, I would avoid Porto Allegre.

For Sao Paulo, if you can get a local guide that knows the establishments and speaks Portuguese, or if you have the time and map out the establishments yourself here on ISG and learn some Portuguese, I believe you can have a great time. A knowledgeable taxi driver made the difference for me in Sao Paulo but didn't help with translation.

In Rio, my tour guide really made the difference with choosing establishments and translating. It is great that someone offers tours to the termas and speaks Portuguese.

Yes, I meant Terraco Atlantico, but Bubba's report seemed to indicate Mea Pateca was still a non-pro venue despite the loss of Help so I was wondering about Terraco Atlantico; and I'm looking for other non-club options near Rio Roiss Hotel. I like to make my own porn, which is difficult / impossible in the termas. Thanks.

The Balcony Bar located between the Copacabana Palace Hotel and Mabs is the place now my friend. Help and Terraco Atlantico are gone for good. The action has now shifted down towards the other end. The Rio Roiss is no longer a good choice for being near the major Copacabana beachfront nighttime action. And it's a much smaller scene. I like it better than the old one. But then, I was never a big Help/TA fan. For me, the best thing about the old scene was the spectacle of it all! Good luck!

At approximately 8:30 tonight, I realized that the owners (father and son) of 4 x 4 did not pay their power bill either. The federal police stormed in and shut the place down. They busted in taking pictures of clients and employees. Girls were running and hiding so they would not come out in the fotos. Guys wearing badges were also knocking and openning cabina doors.

About an hour later, they let the customers out the door. However, they did take down the customers information from offical I. D. 's.

I was arrested in Manila last week for a petty public smoking violation and got hauled off to the station. Scared the shit out of me cause I also had resisted arrest, because at first when they grabbed me and threw me into the van, I thought I was being abducted. The cops were dirty, demanded a fine 10x the norm in lieu of jail time, then took a small amount that was in my pockets.
