Most are materialistic,(especially in relative terms to foreign ladies) selfish, much harder to please, far more demanding, and unfeminine thanks to the feminism that has ruined woman in this country. Get off the Vegas strip and hit the 1,000's of locals bars and smaller properties. You'll meet lots of available women who live in Vegas. I went out with him (he lives in Henderson) and it was a great vibe, lots of available ladies and he was scoring (and he is just an average guy with a great rap and personality). And, no, most US women don't suck. Most US guys (and I am one) are real selfish, egotistical dicks. Acknowledge that, and understand most US women are starting from that perspective and you can be successful with ladies in the US. Humor, kindness and confidence. I'm entertained by this thread about finding a relationship after a divorce. I've come to realize that no matter how intense the sex, easygoing or passionate (or whatever floats my boat at the moment) the woman, I grow tired of the sex in any relationship after a couple of years, max. For me, the mongering is the fulfillment of my innate need for variety and excitement. My wife is quite pretty and her looks and body beat many of the Pros I go after where I live or where I travel. I just can't get excited for her more often than once a week or maybe even less. I do enjoy her company and won't divorce her because I don't need a replacement, I just need to augment my sex life. So, I find ways to spend time in AMPs, go to Rio, Fortaleza, etc. My advice? Keep many loving ST relationships, and you will enjoy life more. Maybe get married when you're 65 or older and need a hot young thing to take care of you =)

I find this to be good advice. I quit mongering six months ago after a simple, uncomplicated woman befriended me at one of the dating sites. Never had consistently better loving with low expectations, i.e. respect for my complicated status.
It's easy to dream about finding a foreign woman but linguistic and cultural difficulties often sour a relationship before it matures. While I wish the OP luck in Brazil -- or somewhere else -- I would not ignore the possibilities of finding someone in the U.S.

Well, my question was about Rio, so let me ask it here as well. I have a chance of visiting Rio during the Carnival; yet I do not have to go during that time, can find some other time to visit. I would like someone who is familiar with Rio and its Carnival tell me: is it worth trying to visit during the Carnival? I would like to meet the girls, of course. Will it be more difficult at that time? Is everything much more expensive and more difficult? Is the Carnival REALLY special, or just a lot of niusance?

Sounds like you want to just visit Rio but you are not necessarily interested in Carnaval. If this is the case then I think you answered all of your own questions already. IMHO the best time to go to Rio if you're not interested in Carnaval and the parades then go 1 to several weeks before Carnaval when most of the girls who will be in Rio for Carnaval are already there and most of the tourists are not.

Not quite sure what you are attempting to say here. But some mongers like to romantize about their importance in Brazil.

Mongers contribute every little to the overall economy. A pitence. I spend 6 months a year in Brazil (mostly Rio, SP and my home city). It has become increasingly difficult to book hotel rooms, domestic flights and buses. I need to book further in advance. I see more and more foreigners in hotels and airports. And I am actually involved with a company that is expanding its' charter flight business taking Brazilians to foreign destinations. There are more and more opportunities inside the country everyday. And once the majority of Brazilians themselves come to accept this as fact, then things will take off even more. Some guys are acting as if they are going to run the Olympics on top of Rio as it exists now. Major changes underway.

Do you really think Rio and Brazil give a shit about mongers? What mongers spend in Brazil is a drop in the bucket in terms of the overall economy. Sure some low-life apartment and bar owners might take a financial hit - but the country is going through permanent changes.
