Glad I contributed something! I look forward to reading your report. From what I have read here and seen on youtube (those are my only sources) Parque Lleras and El Poblado have a ton young hot girls around you can bang. Sounds like you might be leaning Rio vs Medellin and personally I think that's wise. That said if you are coming to Brazil and the girls are the priority, not the beaches and general ambiance, I think 80% of members would agree SP beats Rio. In fact most of the girls I've met in SP were FROM Rio but don't "work" there. They come to SP because that's where the biggest / best scene is. Of course if you want a more balanced vacation with things to do and see, Rio wins hands down and you wouldn't be disappointed, not having SP to compare it to.

Just some advice, don't put Scandallo and Vila Mimosa so close in your thoughts. They are virtually polar opposites on every level. Some guys find what they are looking for at VM. Others despise the environment, the overall drop in talent and don't bother.

A lot of guys here kind of have this low mileage, semi-pro quest in mind. It's hard to find on a short trip. It happens. You could get lucky at a boate (nightclub) and find a girl relatively new to the scene. As far as collecting numbers, you can basically collect numbers anytime at any venue. I always advise discretion in termas, clinicas and prives when collecting numbers.

And yes, the passion of Brazilian working girls is renowned.

I have just wrapped up a 6 week trip in Brazil and will be posting my reports soon, but Colombia vs Brazil was one of nagging questions I had. I had an insanely good time in Brazil, but the Brazil vs Colombia conversation is a very worthwhile one now I suspect given Colombias popularity exploding like it is. I'm not sure if its a good idea, but a separate thread about it would be worthwhile I think? Will leave that to a mod to decide.

For on site venues, kissing and BBBS are default in SP and Rio. It is the opposite in Medellin. As far as P4 P is concerned, my experience is that Paisas don't kiss or don't kiss as passionate as Brasileiras. Brasileiras don't hold back. Paisas, including Facebook girls, seem always holding back something. Brasileiras are more consistent, while Paisas are hit or miss. You will have no problem finding this out by reading the Medellin thread. Just search for La Isla which is the top club there, and you will see the common theme is all covered. Since this is the Rio thread, I think when discussing venues it should be recommended that everyone try Termas 4 x 4 and / or Termas Solarium. Termas especially these two are unique and fun experiences with a large volume of girls.

What I mean is there is the discussion here sometimes about boates vs clinicas. And it's kind of a nonsense discussion. If you like the evening / night scene do the boate. If you like daytime do the clinica. If you like a lineup do the clinica. If you like a nightclub do the boate. Same thing here. If you like the boate or clinica scene then hands down no comparison So Paulo wins every time. Medellin (best of Colombia) cannot compete on the "go to some location and get a hottie in person" scene.

That said, the "get a nice Airbnb and have girls over" scene I might give the nod to Colombia. The Facebook scene in Medellin is crazy and there are other ways to bring back girls also. But the clubs are over priced for what you get and absolutely nothing to touch Scandallo say.

So if you like going to a place to with a relaxed atmosphere to pick a girl and do the deed on-site or nearby def Brazil. If you want to pull girls to your Airbnb either can work but MDE gets the nod for easy and cost effective girls back at your place. IMO. YMMV..

Colombia vs Brazil was one of nagging questions I had. I had an insanely good time in Brazil, but the Brazil vs Colombia conversation is a very worthwhile one now I suspect given Colombias popularity exploding like it is.

Unless you are extremely budget conscious or have a ton of time to spend on the ground building a base, I am struggling to find a reason to visit Colombia over Brazil.

I think Steve was on to something in his post, but trying to compare Colombia to Brazil is falling short. It would work better to compare city to city and not country to country. Even in Colombia, Medellin is different from Cartagena is different from Bogota is different from Cali is different from Barranquilla is different from Santa Marta. Big difference if I am planning to go to Fortaleza, Brazil or Bogotá, Colombia.

I can't spend more than 6-8 weeks in South America a year, so time is short and I need to get the most value for time rather than being purely fixated on cost. I assume most visitors would be in the same position.

Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but this is just what I am taking from the conversations I am seeing online everywhere and with people I know who have spent time in Colombia. Please bare in mind this is as someone who has very little experience with the place from a mongering perspective, but from what I can gather is that Medellin in particular is simply not setup for quick and easy access like Brazil is?

Termas, boates, clinicas, privates, escorts, freelancers, massage shops. Compared to facebook / social media, overpriced strip clubs with a sprinkling of some knock shops and a suspect escort scene?

Crime is a concern everywhere in South America, but the drugging in Colombia seems to be a topic of conversation that's being raised waaaay to frequently now too. The thought of having to watch the girls with eagle eyes seems to be a real pain in the ass.

Then there is the tidal wave of mongers who seem to be heading to the place, while Brazils scene is for Brazilians first and foremost.

Then there are the day to day things. Food in Brazil is great, Colombia seems to be a step down. Beaches in Colombia are very average. Brazil is just more developed. Even if Colombia is 30% cheaper, does it really matter when everything is downgraded as a result?

As for the cost of sex, even if Brazil is a bit more expensive but access to it is better with more venues and options, then the overall experience is better I would think?

P.S. Just one data point but I stayed in Laureles in MDE and felt very safe even at night walking to and from restaurants. And then in SP my Uber was robbed at gunpoint. So I am not sure you can generalize the safety aspect so much. Both are safe. Until they aren't. 😜.

Small world! Last month crossed both of these destinations off my bucket list in one single swing thanks to multi-city booking on Copa Airlines.

I already voiced my opinion on Medellin which appears 80/20 hater / spot on: Medellin is oversaturated with idiot gringos who overpaid and have grossly diluted going rates, and weird unexplained vibe specific only to Medellin and no where else on the globe: you will only enjoy it if you plan on being a regular / lifer. Casual one-time visitors won't have the same results as the seasoned pros. Even the first time visit involves a load a pre-planning to point it is almost a Catch 22 / Paradox of itself. Thanks for the insight! This was helpful, I guess at this point I will have to either gather my wits and go to Medellin knowing full well it's is saturated, or try Brazil. Man the choices LOL. When I was in Cartagena the girls on the beach (and the ones walking around Clock Tower) would always straight up be like 100 usd to which I would get their number and text them at lower rate later in the night, it worked I would say half the time. The other half I just stopped responding. I hope more guys read these threads so they how they are screwing up a great spot for guys like me to get their demon time on. Getting to Medellin from where I am at plus staying at Green LLeras hotel is something like $1100 for 8 night. Brazil Is pricey to get to but from what I'm reading service are less expensive. I have no problem spending money if I find a girl that is actually hot though.

Would you or any other member say Villa Mimosa is safer during the day to find young girls and get their numbers? Having read the posts it seems that most of them show up night, I wonder if that's always the case.

Both scenes: renting a airBnb / hotel with a roof top pool / villa bungalow with a pool GREATLY increases your in-call session quality. More on that later.

Villa Mimosa: link up with user Vagabungo or hire a body guard. Do NOT go into VM solo as a tourist! Just don't.

When in VM or a termas, show the girl pics of you in your decked out room and decked out pool and ask for her WhatsApp.

Spas usually cater to locals on their lunch break, tourists might not be impressed.

One curveball that threw off my night owl status quo: Rio monger scene is done in broad daylight between 10 am-5 pm. There are club / termas options mainly Zona Centro open till midnight too. However especially Centro, the real sketchy ugly figures of Rio start trickling out into streets at these late hours. If you're still clubbing late night ready to fold up, ask club staff to arrange a Taxi waiting outside for you to leap into before you become a statistic.

Saturdays and Sundays EVERYTHING is closed, so all those WhatsApp contacts you harvested earlier in the week? That's your weekend action.

While on my trip, I was bombarded with several ISG PMs that in the case of both MDE and Rio, the real knockout girls follow the money trail and are not in either MDE nor Rio, they are in Bogota and Sao Paulo. Not sure if you're in a position to look into that?

Streetwalkers are not as plentiful in Brazil as Colombia. I've been to Bogota and Cartagena, but not Medellin, and AFAIK there are not many areas in Brazil like Santa Fe, or Tower Clock (or Pargue Lleras, it seems). But there is Vila Mimosa in Rio, although this is NOT a pleasant area. I can tell you it's rougher than Santa Fe and that means something. It's not especially dangerous, mind you, just the general vibe.

In Brazil, there are tons of prives / terapias / clinicas ("massage" brothels) and boates ("night club" brothels). And yes, you can find your 18-22 year olds there, but you'll need to enter each establishment and look. They're not in your face like in the above-mentioned areas.

I would say, in terms of quality and hotness, there is some kind of general parity here. Latinas are Latinas after all, although Brazilians are more diverse in looks due to a larger pool of ethnicities.

As to level of service and work ethics, Brazilian women are unparalleled, IMHO.

I have been to Medellin 5 times and I love it. That being said I am in Rio for the first time right now and I can tell you Rio is far superior in my humble opinion. It has everything that Medellin has and so much more. Logistically speaking meddy is much easier for me to get to and it is cheaper on average for everything (flights, lodging, food and of course girls). But the extra money you spend for Brazil is well worth it. You don't have to go to Villa Mimosa to find what you want either. It's everywhere here. They have daytime spots similar to the Medellin casas almost as cheap. The girls are beautiful and there's not as much plastic in Rio. I personally love the natural bodys. As far as age goes most working girls look to be 18-25 from what I have seen. If you can do Rio I think you will be impressed. Although Medellin is always a great time too and I will still go there but Rio scratches a special itch for this here particular monger that nowhere else I have ever been to can compare.
