You didn't get my point obviously, which was that as soon as there is a brasilian event somewhere in the world (whatever it is, not just football), there's clowns who feel the need to dress up head to toe in yellow and green.

I personally find that is a pretty silly behaviour.

Oh yeah ? ...that is why France is world's top tourist destination, with some 80 millions inbound tourists arrival each year ?

FYI Bubba, the J.W Bush era and its hatred of everything french is over. Seems you are nostalgic though. Why am I not surprised ?

[QUOTE=Prosal]Don't know why Brasil drags so much "flag waving" silly gringo fans. It's actually astonishing. QUOTE]People like / enjoy what they perceive as the happy/spontaneous carefree, joyous style of Brasilians and want to identify. That's simply the way well-adjusted people express their feelings about things they like and enjoy. Conversely, when people go to France and experience rudeness and froggish behavior, they are repulsed. It's actually not so astonishing at all: it is simply expressing human emotion.

It was the goal keepers fault they lost so if not for him brazil wins and there is no talk of the coach. Also the other idiot kicking the player while he was down forcing the brasilians to play 1 man short.

FYI Kaka is a representative part of the brasilian population. Brasil has the largest born-again xtian evangelist population in the world, with about 24% being part of the born-again Evangelical community (from a 2006 survey).

You're wrong. It is important for the following reason:

Kaka is a religious nutcase. I am glad he won't have the entire world attention on July 11 to spew his hate and dogma. I for once did not want to see: 'I belong to Je&us' shirt, or witness mass praying in the middle of the field.

Also, see Kaka preach about morals in post 1206 at .

The World Cup is a joke. The officiating is criminal, the play is horrendous and the hype is unbearable. And FIFA is full of itself and won't change a thing. Those idiots love the controversy because it makes headlines. This is why the US has not embraced "soccer" as a major sport (which is actually an English term, not American).

Glad to see you are so caring and concerned about the African continent. Who knew you had it in you. But they "lost" because they choked. It is sports.

You guys should put things in perspectives when you rave about Brasil.

Honestly, when I see those gringo Brasil fans who cry about Brasil defeat and don't even care about Ghana lose, I really feel sorry about their obtuseness.

Thanks for updating us about your activities in Europe on a Rio de Janeiro forum. Very relevant here.

Perhaps you don't understand the concept that some sports teams, franchises and brands transcend state or national boundries. You see NY Yankess caps and logos all around the world. I am sure even in your beloved FSU.

As a betting man, I took the Netherlands as I did not like the play of Brazil in this World Cup competition. They got away from their style of play and played Dunga's game.

    Brazil loses to the Netherlands

I know this is not a sport forum, but I couldn't pass.I will be brief:

1). I hope Kaka quit soccer and becomes a priest, because obviously he got serious mental problems in his head. And he can't play for his life.

2). For the last month, hundreds of Brazilians on the Globo wesbite have been warning that Felipe Melo (# 5) will score a goal against his team, then get expulsed from a game. That's what he always does in his Italian club. And guess what? Today, Felipe Melo scored a goal against his team, then get thrown out from the game. I couldn't stop laughing while watching the game.

Good ridance, Dunga, Kaka, G. Silva, and never again shall you wear the yellow shirt
